| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C4 - 295 | LINDSAY CLEEVE was last to jump. AKAISHA BALE ran outwards soon after the jump taking the line of LINDSAY CLEEVE who was attempting to recover from his tardy beginning. OUR SWEET ROSE was knocked over at the lure and was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed no injury. The winner CAWBOURNE LEVI was also checked as a precaution after having his muzzle caught after the race with no abnormalities detected. |
| Race 2 | Bill's Bar & Bistro Sprint - C5 - 295 | MIRAGE ran outwards into the bend and checked CAWBOURNE FELIX who lost ground with FIREMANS SALUTE being held up in behind these runners. On the home turn PRETTY GOOD crossed to the fence and tightened MIRAGE who checked outwards and lost some momentum. |
| Race 3 | Penny Lane Music Thursday Place Pick Stakes - C3/4 - 520 | The favourite ROCK CAKES was a shade slow from the inside. SIXTY TWENTY and MAINLAND STAR both moved down the track in the run down the front straight contacting BENJI LAFOURCHE who lost ground. |
| Race 4 | Dave Kingston @ Harcourts Ph.0273351010 Stakes - C2 - 520 | CROSSFIRE MAX was last to jump. MOLLY PARTON was tightened into the first bend and lost ground with WHERES THE KEYS losing ground in behind as a result. |
| Race 5 | Sister Cities $5000 Bonus Quaddie - C3 - 520 | SLICE OF MAGIC, ITS NOT EASY and GYPSY JOE were all slow from the traps. The favourite SIDESHOW BOB was tightened into the run to the first bend as AKON STAR ran outwards and then checked as GYPSY JOE ran inwards soon after. He received another check as ITS NOT EASY angled inwards on that first bend. SIDESHOW BOB then lost momentum at the end of the back straight as ITS NOT EASY again crossed to the rail. He made ground very late to finish fifth with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 6 | Buy Sell & Exchange Stakes - C5 - 520 | KNOW SPUNK was last to jump. MIXED GRILL and ZITA GRACE came together for a stride soon in the early stages wide on the track. On the first bend EMILY BAXTER who was a narrow leader was dragged down for a stride by KNOW SPUNK with KATE LEIGH and MIXED GRILL being forced wide. Into the back straight KNOW SPUNK checked outwards with RINGOS COLT, KATE LEIGH and MIXED GRILL being inconvenienced and losing ground. EMILY BAXTER dropped out to finish last after her early check with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 7 | Kolorful Kanvas Christchurch Classic Final - R/Af - 520 | WALK DA TORQUE was keen to get away from the inside in the early stages and in doing so contacted the rear of EMILY losing ground and settling at the rear. |
| Race 8 | Jet Pets Dash - C5 - 295 | HALF AS MATE ran inwards soon after the jump with all dogs on his inside being tightened to some extent the worst affected being LES BAXTER and STARBURST STUMPY who dropped to the rear. Following the race PERSIAN OIL was found to have a strained triceps muscle with a seven day stand down recommended. |
| Race 9 | 2011 Jet Pets Sister Cities Cup - C5f - 520 | HAVE A YAP was tightened into the first bend as METZ MAGIC ran inwards towards the rail. Into the back straight WINSOME OPAWA received a check as he was racing on the outside of MARSHALL STAR and lost some ground. |
| Race 10 | 2011 Kingston Cup Final - C2df - 732 | THRILLING BRAT ran outwards soon after the jump as SPEED TICKET ran inwards contacting AWESOME BENDER. Soon after SOFIAS GIRL ran outwards checking OPAWA EYE and LIFES GREAT who both lost ground. Into the first bend AWESOME BENDER checked outwards off OPAWA EYE into LIFES GREAT who lost more ground. NINAS GIRL ran wide into the home straight on their first lap pushing THRILLING BRAT wider for some distance. |
