Track: Good The track was presented in a very good racing order with all other equipment working well througout the meeting .
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Trainer D Schofield was questioned regarding the condition of LOCHINVAR YASI who was a late scratching at kenneling when presented with injuries which the vet recommended to the Stewards that the dog should not be allowed to run in race 11.
D Schofield did not agree with the vets assessement and could offer no other explanation.
The start of race one was reviewed by the Stewards after the boxes were slightly slow to open
It was deemed to be a fair star after no dogs were observed to be disadvantaged at the jump . and the payout was then authorised

Race 1	The Clubhouse Sports Bar & Cafe Sprint - C3 - 375	The boxes were slightly slow to open ,after reviewing the replay several times the Stewards are of the opinion that no dogs were disadvantaged The race was declared all clear so the payout was authorised. COTSWALD PRINCE an COOL AND DRY were tightened and went back to the rear as the field raced on to the top bend ,with COTSWALD PRINCE losing the most ground and was not able to get back in to contention from there on in.
Race 2	Sergio @ Stud Stakes - C1 - 457	THRILLING CHILLwas a late scratching on vets advice at pre race presentaion after the dog got loose from his handler and sustained a cut to left fore metacarpal & right fore digit with a 5 day stand down imposed The trainer was questioned as to what happened ,the clip on the collar came off inadvertently and there was no further action taken SAHARA RAMA (fav) was last away from the boxes ,then raced out wide in to and across the top bend covering a fair bit of extra ground ,and the effort told in the home straight with her weakining to 5th placing at the line THRILLING APRIL was handy in the early rush then drifted towards the rear ,she ran very wide in to the top bend an in to the home straight finishing several lengths in the rear THRILLING APRIL was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 3	All Sew Embroidery Stakes - C1/2 - 457	THRILLING DEAL(fav) was last away from the boxes by a couple of lengths ,he raced out wide in to the first bend and never was able to get in to contention from there on in beating only one other runner to the line
Race 4	Fond Foods LTD Sprint - C4 - 375	PEANUT stood in the boxes momenterily and went up with the lids losing 5 or so lengths ,he made up good ground thereafter running in to 5th placing at the line From the boxes MIRAGE, THANKS MERCEDES and ROY HOBBS(fav) all came together and jostled for several strides ,soon after racing in to the first turn ROY HOBBS was tightened for racing room where he went back a couple of lengths and never got back in to contention from there on in
Race 5	Presland Tocker Insurance Services Stakes - C3 - 457	Soon after the start THRILLING ISSUES and TAKE THE MICK came together bumping and jostling for several strides Racing in to the first turn ENDORSE was forcing his way across to the rail severley tightning DECADENT on to LACHLAN's CASH and ON TREY in behind was forced to check back out of his position at that point
Race 6	Greene Bros LTD Sprint - C2 - 375	Soon after leaving the boxes REGAL TENT raced across and bumped GOLD FOR THYS who was forced to check back at that point Racing in to the first turn CHERRY TREE LANE and MARTYN STREET collided with CHERRY TREE LANE losing her balance for a stride or so and was not able to get back in to contention from there on in
Race 7	Group 2 T McDonald Cup Final - C2df - 747	SWIFT FANTASY in her first run for 8 months tailed the field in the early stages, but did not get as far back as she usually does ,she ran on very strongly the last 200 metres for a fast finishing 4th placing at the line
Race 8	Hautapu Veterinary Clinic Stakes - C4 - 457	Soon after leaving the boxes THRILLING BOLT raced across and collided with HONG KONG LOUIE, who stumbled and bumped HARAJUKU GIRL unbalancing her for a couple of strides she then went back to the rear by several lengths and seemed to have made contact with the rail soon after entering the first turn and was observed to be uncomfortable in her galloping action there after finishing in the rear at the line HARAJUKU GIRL was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 9	Jack Hannan Memorial Cup - INV - 457	BENNY ROX after being in the rear earlyy made ground around the outer racing across the top bend ,he tried to move inwards and tightened ENOUGH IS ENOUGH who was forced to check back losing several lengths ASSEGAI ran handy through out the journey in his first start for several months being observed to be galloping uncomfortably in the home straight hanging on for 4th placing at the line ASSEGAI was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found The connections advised the vet that the dog has had a wrist problem in the past The connections were advised that ASSEGAI must undergo a veterinary examination before he can start again
Race 10	Group 1 NZ Derby Final - R/Af - 457	GRIZZ took a flyer from the boxes getting away to a clear early lead and was never headed there after to hang on gamely to the line Soon after the jump INISHRUSH came across and collided with BIGTIME KINVARA unbalancing him for a couple of strides, further out as the field raced in to the first turn PEKING TOM came across on to KOKO WHIZ and pushed him on to ANOTHER DOLLAR with KOKO WHIZ almost being knocked off his feet , in behind these runners RUSSELL HART had come out wide from the inside box and ran extremely wide when avoiding the heels of KOKO WHIZ and he almost ran off the track on the top bend ,also running wide in to the home straight ANOTHER DOLLAR was vetted on return to the kennel block and was found to have suffered a dislocated left lateral front 5th toe with a 21 day stand down imposed
Race 11	Cogswell Survey LTD - C5 - 375	LOCHINVAR YASI was a late scratching at kenneling on vets advice with pain on palpation to the right triceps ,also large hematoma type swelling right ribs area with a 14 day stand down imposed Racing down in to the first turn ONE TOUGH COOKIE raced across towards the rail causing FANCY MILLY to clip heels and fall ,MOLLY DARLING was also hampered in this incident FANCY MILLY recovered her footing to finish on to the lure some distance behind the field and was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 12	Garrards Horse and Hound Stakes - C4/5 - 457	THRILLING BOSS was held up as the field raced in to the first turn ,he had to move out and make his run around the field with him finishing on strongly for 3rd placing at the line
