| Race 1 | Fond Foods LTD Sprint - C2 - 375 | CARUBA KING shifted in from the start and checked UTAH BOLT and PENO BOY and all three settled at the rear. CARUBA KING then raced wide on the bend covering extra ground and finished last. CARUBA KING appeared be unstable on its feet following the race and was referred to the Vet for assessment. |
| Race 2 | The Clubhouse Sports Bar Stakes - C1 - 457 | SYDILICIOUS was very slow to begin losing four lengths and he then raced wide on the bend and into the straight over extra ground and finished in last place. TEKAU raced wide from the start and into the bend and lost ground as a result. COAL SACK checked over the heels of VERY CHILLY entering the home straight and lost momentum. |
| Race 3 | Garrards Horse and Hound Sprint - C3 - 375 | OPAWA JOHNNY and ONLY KATIE were slow to begin losing three lengths. VIOHLAY and FLYING FABIO jostled together for several strides going to the first corner and again on the bend and both dogs lost ground as a result and finished near the rear. AGENT VAN ALDEN ran wide over extra ground into the straight. |
| Race 4 | Greyhounds as Pets Sprint - C1 - 375 | This race was started 5 minutes late after a hold up with the Harness meeting. QUESTION ME was a little slow to begin but recovered quickly to lead on the bend but was caught by the winner just short of the line. IMAGINATION and GOOD PERCEPTION collided on the home turn when racing near the rear and they finished in the last two places. |
| Race 5 | TAB Albany Sprint - C5 - 375 | COSMIC MACK was slow to begin but recovered well to make up ground and finish in 3rd place. ONE TOUGH COOKIE shifted in going into the bend and checked ELLY'S GIRL who went back to last and finished in that position. |
| Race 6 | T McDonald Cup - C2df - 747 | BUDDY BROKE and PLATINUM PLAYBOY bumped together when the start was made and PLATINUM PLAYBOY settled at the rear. PLATINUM PLAYBOY then began to drift off the back of the field and continued to lose ground throughout the race and finished some distance behing the other runners. He was referred to the Vet for assessment . |
| Race 7 | All Sew Embroidery Stakes - C2 - 457 | BORASCO was slow to begin losing two lengths and he then ran a little wide on the bend but finished well for 3rd placing. MUNCHIN KRUNCHIN was hampered and went back to last going to the first corner. |
| Race 8 | Jack Hannan Memorial Cup - INV - 457 | ATE TO MUCH, FANCY IDOL and THRILLING VEGAS were a little slow to begin and settled back. FANCY TIP, THRILLING RANSOM and RILEYS MATE jostled for a few strides soon after the start. RILEYS MATE then went forward and shifted in checking ATE TO MUCH and FANCY TIP who both lost ground and went back to the rear. FANCY IDOL and THRILLING RANSOM also bumped together going into the bend and lost ground. |
| Race 9 | Palamountains Nutrition Stakes - C5 - 457 | BIGTIME JET, JETSUN FLAME and KILARA'S FANCY came together and jostled for a few strides soon after the start and they settled at the rear. |
| Race 10 | NZ Derby - R/Af - 457 | THRILLING CHARLY and CHARLIE'S CHOICE were slow to begin losing two lengths. RENE RANGER came across sharply from the start in search of the lure and bumped OSTAPCHUK who was a little unbalanced. Soon after CIRI RIOLI also shifted across and there was some jostling between CIRI RIOLI, RENE RANGER and OSTAPCHUK for several strides until eventually OSTAPCHUK was checked, went back and was galloped on by RIDDLE MATE and they lost several lengths and all chance. |
| Race 11 | Presland Tocker Insurance Sprint - C4 - 375 | ON TREY was hampered when the start was made and lost two lengths. JETSUN PLAYBOY, FAMILY'S PRIDE, MOVING DEBREE and SO INSIGNIFICANT were all checked going into the first corner losing four lengths . |
| Race 12 | Cogswell Surveys LTD Stakes - C4 - 457 | FLYING MOE was a little slow to begin and he then bacame awkwardly placed between TUMMY KRUNCHES and LOCHINVAR ONYX going into the first turn and they jostled for a couple of strides and became a little unbalanced. |
