WANDY LUCK (3) angled inwards in the initial stages hampering the favourite ISABELLE DOMAIN (2) and REDDY BOY (1) for a few strides. JUST A MATE (9) ran inwards in the back straight checking BLONDE TORI (4) with ISABELLE DOMAIN again being inconvenienced on her inside. LACHIE'S LAD lost a length in behind these runners. |
| Race 2 | Buy Sell & Exchange Sprint - C4 - 295 | RINGA DING (5) was awkwardly away and settled at the rear. Into the bend KNOX (2) checked off the back of EXCUSE PLEASE (4) and lost ground. PRINCELY DOLLAR (8) was momentarily inconvenienced when checking off the heels of PRIMITIVE (6) on the home turn. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3 - 295 | KNOW PRIDE (5) and HOMEBUSH CHURRO (8) were the last pair on jumping. GAZZA'S PRIDE (10) ran outwards in the back straight checking KNOW PRIDE and SWIP AND TEAR (7). In the run to the bend the favourite TWO WAYS (2) was tightened between runners and lost ground. KNOW PRIDE and GAZZA'S PRIDE ran wide covering extra ground into the bend. |
| Race 4 | C.T.V. Sprint - C5 - 295 | As the dogs were boxed away it was noticed that some ducks were on the outside of the track at the end of the back straight. Stewards ordered that the dogs be taken out of the traps until these ducks were moved away. At the start MARMALADE SKIES (7) was hampered and settled last. KNOW ADVANTAGE (2) angled outwards into the bend checking the favourite PRETTY GOOD (8) and PICK THE TIP (6) with MARMALADE SKIES being inconvenienced in behind. On the home turn PRETTY GOOD was badly checked from behind by PICK THE TIP with this pair dropping to the rear. PRETTY GOOD was referred to the vet for assessment as was TEPIRITA RITA (4) who took a tumble at the lure. |
| Race 5 | I Pave Concrete Stakes - C3 - 520 | ROCKY BAXTER (7) was last to jump. Into the first bend OHOKA FRENCHI (2), who was keen to get to the outside, checked outwards off the back of RED TYPHOON (8) losing ground and pushing ADULTEROUS (3) very wide with this pair losing their chances. On the bend the favourite CHEVY CHEVELLE (1) checked outwards off the pacemaking MAXIMUM JEWEL (4) and lost momentum. On the finishing line the fast finishing RED TYPHOON was denied space. |
| Race 6 | Kolorful Kanvas Dash - C5 - 295 | DRYSDALE (8) and HOMEBUSH SARGE (3) were the last to jump. ZEBIDIAH (5) ran inwards in the back straight checking PEARL'S BOY (4) and HOMEBUSH SARGE. Into the bend HOMEBUSH SARGE ran outwards galloping on the back of KNOW MISTAKE (7) with that runner dropping back through the field. HOMEBUSH SARGE continued his outwards movement pushing PEARL'S BOY and RULE JUDGE JUDY (6) wider on the track |
| Race 7 | Sky High Scaffolding Distance Feature - C2d - 645 | CHILL OUT RALPH (3) and KNOW HONOUR (6) were the last pair to jump and remained well back throughout. BIGTIME KELINA (1) was referred to the vet following this race. |
| Race 8 | Flatpack Houses Ph.033715005 Stakes - C3/4 - 520 | SPEEDY KAZZA (4) was last to jump. In the run to the first bend BANBIT (3) shifted up the track pushing OPAWA STYLE (5) wider. Into the bend WANDY PAM (2) was checked and shifted outwards pushing SPEEDY KAZZA out on to KIN NIKKI (8) with this trio losing their chances at this stage. |
| Race 9 | David Emerson Consultancy Harding Cup - C5f - 295 | The favourite MORE BETTER (4) was a clear last at the jump with MR. WHIPPY (6) and GO HOUSIE (8) also settling well back. Into the bend ROQETTE (5) crossed in front of NIPPA MARY (3) receiving a slight check as she did so. On the home turn MORE BETTER shifted outwards checking CAWBOURNE QUEEN (1) for a stride. |
| Race 10 | Super Pets New Zealand St Leger - R/Af - 520 | The kennelmates STOLEN MONEY (6), KNOW ATTEMPT (7) and KNOW CLASS (8) were the trio on jumping. Favourite OPAWA JED (1) and ANOTHER COLT (2) came together into the first bend losing momentum with STOLEN MONEY receiving a check at this stage when racing to the outside of ANOTHER COLT. OPAWA JED was referred to the vet after tying up immediately after the race but no stand down was imposed. |
| Race 11 | Shirley Vet Clinic Dash - C5 - 295 | KNOW FAVOURS (5) dropped to the rear in the early stages. WANDY JEWEL (2) ran outwards checking HOT MANGO (4) into the bend who in turn ran outwards checking BUGSY BANGLES (6), AUSTIN WANA (7) and KNOW FAVOURS who lost their chances. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295 | WANDY GRANT (4) and CLAREMONT PIZZAZ (6) were the last pair on jumping. In the back straight LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE (3) ran outwards checking WANDY GRANT and JACKSON CAT (8). MEMPHIS HOTCAKES (7) angled inwards into the bend checking HOMEBUSH CRUDEN (5) who in turn checked LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE and WANDY GRANT with JACKSON CAT being held up in behind runners. |
