| Race 1 | RADIO PACIFIC STAKES - C4/5 - 457 | Campbell Bale was the best to start and although headed by Orana City just short of the line he rallied strongly to reclaim the lead and take the win. Turbo Bale was checked in the early running. Some Joe was away on even terms with the field until squeezed for racing room by Winsome Shot - Some Joe's forward momentum being curbed somewhat, he drifted to the rear but then mounted a strong late run to finish just behind the placegetters. |
| Race 2 | TE AWAMUTU SELF STORAGE MAIDEN FINAL - C0f - 457 | Someone, from box 2, jumped best but moved straight across path of outer dogs on his way to putting an extended break in front - the outer dogs bunching in his wake after the jump. Someone held until mid-straight where Winsome Angel gradually eroded his lead and took final control. Cryptic finished on well for third. |
| Race 3 | ARCH LAWRENCE DISTANCE - C2d - 747 | Six starters. Gold Jed swept to the lead and held an extended break on the field right into the final straight and towards the line, only to be denied the win in a photo finish when claimed late by Calm Abiding. Gatlin Bale tailed off immediately after the jump, and trailed the field at a distance from that point. A post race veterinary examination revealed a medial tear, with a stand down period imposed on Gatlin Bale. No 8 Hostile Twist ( AR Lawrence). Rule 259 - diarrhorea. Dog not presented, stand down 30 days to 31.01.04. No 1 Galtin Bale ( AC Roberts). Rule 329 - injury during running - longitudinal medial tear. Stand down 14 days to 15.01.04. VC held. |

PUMP & AUTOMOTIVE STAKES - C1 - 457 | Mr Big Head moved across from the outside draw to lead after the jump, impeding the inner dogs somewhat but was then quickly gathered in by the bunch and only battled from there.Truthful Lies moved wide early and was subjected to buffeting and checked out of contention at that stage. Ashcroft Bale held well to the line after establishing an early break. |
| Race 5 | ROSS TODD MOTORS & ENGINEERING DASH - C4/5 - 375 | The favourite Oakland Havoc held a momentary lead until headed by Cawbourne Jack, that dog keeping up a sustained run to hit the line first. . |
| Race 6 | FOND FOODS WAIKATO CUP - C5 - 457 | Waikato Cup. Hot Treasure and Winsome Mate in front until Hot Agent dashed past and held impressively to the winning post.Daphne Bale moved wide after the jump, was buffeted by the reserve, Speed Twin, from box 4 - Daphne Bale was turned slightly sideways - then received furthern jostling and dropped off the pace. Entering the final bend Speed Twin, having ranged wide, moved back towards the track inner and again was in contact with Daphne Bale-with a strong shoulder to shoulder collision - both dogs were towards rear at this time and already out of contention. No 4 Blue Paragon ( D Van Meeuwen). Rule 259 - injury right front 'monkey muscle'. Stand down 10 days to 09.01.04. VC held. |
| Race 7 | SUPERIOR GREYHOUND FORMULA CLASSIC FINAL - R/Af - 457 | Superior Classic Final. Mega Bytes and Saviola showed early speed then Bankside Brat forged through the middle and held with ease from that point. The kennel mate and sibling, Bankside Babe moved through to second in the middle stages and held that position equally well. Thrilling Sam made late ground for fourth. |

| Race 9 | RODEWALD HART BROWN STAKES - C3 - 457 | Big Teddy Boy was checked by kennelmate Clock Stopper in the early running, when Clock Stopper moved wide and into a collision with him. Big Teddy Boy dropped towards the rear and had no impact on the race from there. |
| Race 10 | CAMBRIDGE TAB STAKES - C2 - 457 | Go Wild Chrissy was checked in the middle stages. World Priority held early lead to the line. No 5 Twilight Lane ( F Farmer). Rule 259 - injury to toe, right front foot. Stand down 10 days to 10.01.04. Dog presented, VC held. |
