Judicial report: Weather: Showery Race 5. The handler / catcher of Jimmitom (A. Molloy) was spoken to advisedly regarding the standard of behaviour expected when parading a greyhound back to the dais after the conclusion of a race.

Race 1	OXY-SHOT PUNTERS COMPETITION DASH - C0 - 318	Miss Livewire ran inwards at the start and checked itself and Distinctly Roys. Ray Reeb ran inwards at the start and severely checked itself, Awesome Ronnie and Sixteen Gauge. These runners then jostled for several strides. Nearing the first turn Sixteen Gauge and Awesome Ronnie jostled again with both being severely checked. Miss Livewire moved outwards on the first turn and checked Nassirina. Sixteen Gauge was tightened and checked on the first turn when Awesome Ronnie moved to the rail. On the bend Giggilo Gee Jay which was leading was galloped on from behind by Mac McLeod then dropped back quickly through the field resulting in further interference and checks to itself, Distinctly Roys and Nassirina. Ray Reeb moved outwards on the home turn and checked Mac McLeod. A post race veterinary examination of Giggilo Gee Jay detected no injury.
Race 2	MANUKAU HURDLES - FINAL - C1/2hf - 527	Pitstock Jazz was the slowest to begin and then fell at the second hurdle when towards the rear. A post race veterinary examination detected no injury. Aranui Flash at the last hurdle when running second. A post race veterinary examination detected no injury. Chippewa Brave (B.J.Melville). Injury / Retired. No Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259.3. 30 days up to and including 03.11.05. (Registration papers to be presented to Stipendiary Steward for endorsement).
Race 3	RADIO TRACKSIDE STAKES - C0 - 527	Sable Collar was the slowest to begin then raced at the back of the field before drifting out from the first bend to finish a distant last. A post race veterinary examination detected an injury requiring a stand down from racing. Sable Gold and Sable Collar came together for a stride after 60mtrs. Lord Maximus (F.D.Farmer). Late scratching. Gastro-intestinal upset and inflated temperature. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 16.10.05. Sable Collar (K.W.Symes). Cut toe beneath front toe nail. Rule 329. 7 days stand down up to and including 13.10.05.
Race 4	www.oxyshot.co.nz SIX PACK - C3/4 - 527	This race was rescheduled to start 2 minutes late due to a request from TAB Trackside. There was no 'head on' video coverage from TAB Trackside for this race. Tourist Jack and Time Solves were the slowest to begin. Time Solves, Rialto Reason and Fancy Style came together for a stride after the start. Tourist Jack moved outwards on the first turn which encouraged Fancy Style to run outwards as well and cover extra ground. Max's Millions (P & L Henley).Sore left tensor fascia lata muscle. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 14.10.05.
Race 5	THE ALAMO BAR & GRILL DASH - C1 - 318	Diamond Ditto and Our Shereena came together for a stride after the start. Diamond Ditto was denied racing room on the first turn.
Race 6	WRIGHT MARINE PLUMBING & SERVICES DASH - C2 - 527	Under Time and Hopplar were slow to begin. Davron Express and Friendly Virus came together for a stride after the start. Frosty's Special moved outwards on the first turn causing tightening and checks to itself, Trendy Time, Davron Express, Friendly Virus and Hopplar.
Race 7	CAROLINE LINDSAY-SHAND LISTINGS STAKES - C5 - 527	My Rocky was slow to begin. Charlston State raced wide around the first turn and bend. Nitro Bird and Mr Blackout jostled for several strides on the first bend. Winsome Guy (B & L Craik). Late scratching. Sore right shoulder joint on extension. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 16.10.05.
Race 8	OXY-SHOT NZ SHOOTOUT - SPEC - 527	Big Sam Junior and Willy What were the slowest to begin. On the final bend Big Sam Junior (winner) when vying for the lead moved inwards to the rail and severely checked My Charlston which lost 3 lengths. Prince Toshack was hampered in this incident and ran on well for 2nd.
Race 9	HAYDON ROULSTON DASH - C4/5 - 318	Gold Strike, Little Toot, Tee Ar Tee and Awesome Mystery were the slowest to begin. Awesome Mystery and Tee Ar Tee came together for a stride shortly after the start with Tee Ar Tee being checked. Entering the first turn Awesome Mystery moved outwards and severely checked Osbourne. Shortly after Little Toot also moved outwards and came together with Awesome Mystery and Osbourne for a stride with both suffering further checks.
Race 10	GIVE IT YOUR BEST SHOT STAKES - C1 - 527	Rockwell Reason, El Paso Princess, In Defence and Last Account were slowest to begin. In Defence stumbled badly shortly after the start. In the back straight Davron Lass moved to the rail causing In Defence to be tightened, severely checked and lose 4 lengths. Entering the final bend Just The Don moved outwards off the rail and severely checked Rockwell Reason. Davron Lass ran very wide on the home turn when midfield and lost valuable ground finishing 7th.
Race 11	CAROL'S TAB - C3 - 318	Awesome At Last moved outwards sharply on the first turn hampered Buddy Hand then dropped back quickly to the rear before running very wide on the home turn. A post race veterinary examination detected a minor injury not requiring a stand down from racing.
