Race 1	REASON FINANCE STAKES FEATURE - C3 - 527	Race one was delayed one minute at the request of the TAB. Cockney Code and Richfield Reason where slow away. Thrilling Gus and Holah A Hypo came together for a couple of strides at the start. Halfway around the top turn Holah A Hypo had to check back of the heels of Cockney Code as that dog was improving. After being slow away and getting well back Cockney Code ran on well to finish a close up in sixth place as there was a deadheat for fourth place.
Race 2	CAROL'S TABS' STAKES FEATURE - C4 - 527	Homebush Thorn and Thrilling Pearl came together at the start then moved in on Thrilling Hubba with these three dogs buffeting each other for several strides Homebush Thorn got the worst of this having to check back as Thrilling Hubba also received interferance from the backwash of this incident. On the point of the home turn Homebush Bubbles and Zambora Kesman touched briefly. .
Race 3	RODEWALD HART BROWN SPRINT FEATURE - C5 - 318	Soon after the start Charlston Kid came across at the back of the field looking for the rail and collided with Loaded Gun causing this dog to falter who never recovered after that. Coming into the first turn Smart Waves raced across the field causing severe crowding to Flash Shooter, Lady Tandia,Token Diamond,Another Laurel and Charlston Kid causing these dogs to lose valuable ground Another Laurel recovered from this incident well to run on for third. Loaded Gun was ordered to undergo a veterinary examination and was found to have a torn left gracilus muscle requiring a 90 day standown. . Loaded Gun (PBFreeman) Torn left gracilus muscle Rule 82 standown 90 days to an including 05.06.07.
Race 4	CHILLI'S RESTAURANT & BAR RAILWAY SPRINT CONSOLATION - SPEC - 318	Thrilling Ollie was very awkwardly away losing ground , but stayed to the inside and got a run through the field to run third. At the start Smooth Conquest jumped ascoss and collided with Kims Whiskey. Coming up to the first turn Johnny was endevouring to cross to the rail and in doing so caused severe crowding to Hillys Tip, My Charlston and Smooth Conquest, Johnny could not get around these dogs and ended wide at that point --at the rear of the field.where he never recovered to figure in the finish. Licenced trainer DD Schofield was fined for presenting Smooth Conquest 1.3kgs up from its previous start on 1.03.07. . .
Race 5	PACIFIC SHEET & COIL AUCKLAND CUP CONSOLATION - SPEC - 527	Winsome Show was slow leaving the boxes and came together with Another Gale for a stride. Entering the first turn Bronx Appeal was squeezed back from between runners and in that caused Cawbourne Baron to have to check back off heels resulting in Bronz Appeal becoming unbalanced and racing out wide around the first turn into the back straight. Winsome Show (fav) raced wide going out of the straight the first time and down the back straight, was well back at this stage but ran on strongly to win in the last stride. Micki was scratched under the100 km rule. . Micki(J&D Fahey) Scratched Rule 63.10 .
Race 6	CHILLI'S RESTAURANT & BAR RAILWAY SPRINT FINAL - C5f - 318	At the start Who Nose and Ivan Evans came together resulting in Stately Conquest being squeezed out to the rear where it could`nt get back into the race from there. Entering the first turn Big Bad Stefano and Commands jostled for a few strides ,soon after Stately Conquest ran out to avoid the heels of Sir Kretion. Half way around the top bend Ivan Evans collied with Sir Kretion as it came outwards looking for clear racing room.
Race 7	THERMOPEUTIC STAKES FEATURE - C5 - 527	Soon after the start there was some jostling between Warnie, Homebush Bradley, Limited Impact and Rebel Castefor several strides causing Homebush Bradley to lose his position at that point going into the first turn. Going down the back straight Investigate moved out to improve his position and caused Winsome Gem to have to check back at that point losing ground where he never could recover lost ground finishing in last place. .
Race 8	PACIFIC SHEET & COIL AUCKLAND CUP FINAL - C5f - 527	Roman Castle left the boxes awkwardly and came together with Winsome Daisy for a stride. Going out of the straight first time Roman Castle was racing at the rear of the field he thereafter picked his way through the field and made a sustained run to get up and win in the last stride.
Race 9	THORNTON AUCTIONS SPRINT FEATURE - C4 - 318	Role Model was very slow away and could not recover from racing at the rear the whole journey. .
Race 10	CATERING PROFESSIONALS STAKES - C1 - 527	Surf It Up was akwardly away. On entering the first turn Richmond Bob,El Doo and Certainly jostled for some distance as they tried to clear each other resulting in them going wide and losing all chance thereafter. .
