Soon after CAWBOURNE MOLLY was squeezed for room when racing between HOMEBUSH MATE and Lochinvar Louis, losing ground. BACHELOR (JT McInerney) right wrist pain. Dog presented. | Race 2 | CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL UP STAKES - C4 - 520 | Into the first bend GROOVY AGAIN ran out and badly checked GENISTA FLYER, WHISKY BOY and BOATSWAIN WALLY, these dogs losing all chance. |
| Race 3 | WWW.GREYHOUNDTIPS.CO.NZ DASH - C2/3 - 295 | Into the bend HISTORICAL moved out from the rail and collided with BLACK INN BRAVE when vying for the lead. BLACK INN BRAVE went back on MR PROVOCATIVE. BLACK INN BRAVE was then dragged down by HOMEBUSH ALIDA an incident which caused the trailing PAINT THE STARS to lose momentum and then go wide on the track before finishing powerfully for third. GO STRAIT THREW (JT McInerney) on antibiotics for left hind infected quick. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 13 July 2008. |

IN TOM'S MEMORY (JT McInerney) right stifle strain. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 22 July 2008. |
| Race 5 | SHIRLEY VETERINARY CENTRE DASH - C2/3 - 295 | Into the bend ROSAMOND persisted in running out and took WILLY ECHO and HEZA LIL wide on the track, causing a bad check to itself and costing the other two dogs all chance. A post race vet check on ROSAMOND revealed no injury. SCARLET EMPRESS (A Joyce) torn right hind webb. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. | Race 6 | WILSON'S SPORTS BAR STAKES - C3 - 520 | Into the first bend ARTERIAL BALE when disputing the pace between COASTER ZAM and the favourite MISS KOONAWARRA was tightened and checked back into the path of SCOTT NO TRACK who clipped heels and fell heavily. A post race veterinary examination revealed SCOTT NO TRACK had no injuries. |
| Race 7 | WWW.CANTERBURYPROPERTY.CO.NZ STAKES - C2 - 520 | Into the first bend MIRKOLA BALE improved across and as a result WINSOME UNO racing on the fence was tightened and forced to check out wider on the track. As a result GROOVIN BAIN, RIVIERA CHIC and TRENDY OPAWA suffered checks. Approaching the home turn FIERY FALCON and SMART JOSEPHINE came together and soon after an improving GROOVIN BAIN was held up and forced to check around the tiring MIRKOLA BALE before running home nicely for second. |
| Race 8 | WILLYWHATATSTUD.COM NEW ZEALAND ST LEGER FINAL - R/Af - 520 | Into the first bend TURBINE BALE worked across to the rail and tightened WINSOME JUNIOR and FAST GROOVY who lost ground finishing at the rear of the field. WINSOME ASHLEY (J&D Fahey) sore right shoulder. Rule 64.14. 28 days up to and including 5 August 2008. |
| Race 9 | DAVID EMERSON CONSULTANCY SPRINT - C4 - 295 | HOMEBUSH DUNCAN was slow to leave the boxes and settled at the rear. Into the bend ANGELITO and BLAZIN A TRAIL came together with BLAZIN A TRAIL losing ground. Soon after an improving CHILE COMMAND had to check off the heels of ROCKY POCKETS and ran wide on the track losing ground. |
