| Race 1 | Advance Pet Nutrition Sprint - C4 - 295 | HOMEBUSH REECE was a shade slow from the inside. LITTLE MARVEL ran inwards at the jump tightening BOMBER MAN and CURVE BALL for a stride. TICK ALL BOXES ran wide on the turn when challenging for the lead and lost ground while soon after CURVE BALL checked outwards off the back of LITTLE MARVEL when attempting to improve. |
| Race 2 | Challenge Opawa All Up Dash - C4 - 295 | RUDE RODNEY was squeezed in the run down the back straight and dipped for a stride losing ground. KATIE MAC was also checked in this incident. LINCOLN BRAND ran outwards on the bend with CAWBOURNE CARD being checked and losing ground wide out. In the straight RUDE RODNEY clipped the heels of KATIE MAC as that runner ran to the inside when both runners were well back. Following the race TAIGA was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed a sprained toe with a fourteen day stand down recommended. |
| Race 3 | Super Pets Stakes - C4 - 520 | STARFIRE BOY was last into the first bend but made ground well in the home straight to finish a close fourth. |
| Race 4 | Challenge Waimak Bitches Classique - R/A - 520 | HONOUR received a rocky run in the early stages of the race being checked from both sides and settled last. MIRAGE ROYALE and LITTLE MOTHER came together for a stride just before the first bend while on that bend COVER PAGE checked outwards off LITTLE MOTHER and lost a couple of lengths. A post race veterinary check of HONOUR revealed a small laceration to her pad with a ten day stand down recommended. |
| Race 5 | Challenge Opawa Classic - R/A - 520 | GONE ZILLA was tightened into the first bend and settled well back while soon after OPAWA COLLAR checked outwards off the pacemaking OLYMPIC ACE and lost a couple of lengths. After the finishing line both BRUNO and OLYMPIC ACE both stopped very quickly with post race veterinary checks revealing no injuries. |
| Race 6 | Speight's Six Pack - C5 - 520 | BRITNEY LANE was tightened into the first bend and checked ROCKY'S STAR who lost ground and drifted to the rear. On the home turn WINSOME MERC railed up on the inside of SHIFTY DOONS and made contact. Stewards were able to view the head on replay of the home straight and were satisfied that the contact was with the shoulder. A post race veterinary check of PERFECT TOKEN revealed a sprained toe with a fourteen day stand down recommended. |
| Race 7 | Bill's Bar & Bistro Galaxy Sprint - C5f - 295 | HIFI ALLEGRO came together with AZURE OSTI for a stride in the run down the back. On the turn KNOW DESIRE checked outwards off AZURE OSTI and pushed SUPERFINE and KNOW LOVE wide with these dogs losing ground. KNOW DESIRE made up ground late for fifth. |

| Race 9 | 2009 Challenge Service Stations New Zealand Cup - C5f - 520 | SWEET ABOUT ME and SENSATIVE HARRY came together on the first bend and lost ground. SHOWBAGS wanted to run outwards around the first bend and down the back straight and in doing so took the line of TRICKY SHELLY. Replays verified that SHOWBAGS lost momentum as TRICKY SHELLY made contact with him in the back straight and again on the home bend. A post race veterinary check of SHOWBAGS revealed no injury with this dogs racing manners being monitored in coming starts. |
| Race 10 | David Emerson Consultancy Sprint - C5 - 295 | SUPER JAZZ was a shade slow from the inside but made ground well for third. ELITE DESTINY and STRAIGHT OFF came together for a stride soon after the jump. BRADMAN'S WILLOW received a check as FIREMAN'S RAFFLE crossed to the rail into the bend with ELITE DESTINY also being inconvenienced in this incident. |

| Race 12 | Cup Week Dash - C5 - 295 | REWIND HISTORY and SWIFT CONQUEST came together into the bend and lost their chances. On the home turn SUNSET BOMBER ran outwards and checked LIAM BALE for a stride. A post race veterinary check of REWIND HISTORY revealed triceps muscle soreness with a seven day stand down recommended. |
