| Race 2 | Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C1/2 - 520 | HOMEBUSH NICK moved in on the first corner and caused tightening and checks to JACK BANNER and OKAY'S VERA DEE who both lost ground. JOE BANNER also received a check in the incident and was pushed wide into the bend. |
| Race 3 | Advance Pet Nutrition - C3 - 305 | FAST STASS and SIX PLEASE jostled together in the run to the first corner and FAST STASS dropped back onto BIGTIME SLAMMER and ALAMEIN FLASH who was following was checked losing four lengths and he finished in last place. |

BACK DRAUGHT ran in sharply from the start and checked FINN'S ANGEL who went back to near the rear. On the first corner SEPTEMBER BLUE ran into the back of FINN'S ANGEL losing several lengths and she never recovered and finished in 6th place with FINN'S ANGEL just behind him. |
| Race 5 | Broad Roofing Services - C4 - 305 | JOSHIE'S GIRL was one of the best to begin but was drifting back by the first corner and moved out forcing HELD FOR RANSOM and BILLY WHIZ wide over extra ground and they finished in the last three places. |
| Race 6 | Spion Rose Consolation - C5f - 520 | One of the better supported runners KOKODA SUN was unable to keep up with the early pace and dropped back to be racing approxamately five lengths behind the 2nd last dog down the back straight but did make up ground over the last part of the race and finished in 6th place. |
| Race 7 | Dash for Cash Final Group 2 - C5f - 305 | SURFIN' MINT was bumped at the start and lost a little ground but recovered well to win the race. KYLE IZMIR, HIFI ALLEGRO and AZURE OSTI were in the leading group on the first corner but jostled together and all three lost ground with AZURE OSTI the most affected and she lost several lengths and all chance. KYLE IZMIR recovered to finish in 3rd place with HIFI ALLEGRO back in 5th place. |
| Race 8 | Spion Rose Cup Final Group 1 - C5f - 520 | EMBEZZLEMENT and PERFECT TOKEN jostled together in the run to the first corner and they lost ground and tailed the field from there to the finish. |
| Race 9 | Keenan Concrete Sprint - C4/5 - 305 | The favourite CIRALDO was slow to begin and settled at the rear. He then collided with SWIP TASTIC on the first corner and they both lost ground and all chance of a placing. JILL BAXTER who was just ahead was also checked from behind in the incident and lost ground. |
