| Race 1 | ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR C1 - C1 - 305 | SHEZA RATBAG began well but was checked soon after the start losing five lengths and all chance of a dividend placing. TEN FOUR and ROTKARA JACKIE were checked on the first corner and they stayed back to finish at the rear. |
| Race 2 | HARRISON HIRE MASTER C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | MICKEY THE RAT was a little slow to begin and then was checked back to last when avoiding the heels of GROOVY BANDIT. EZY INFO shifted in on the first corner and MICKEY THE RAT was again checked and stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. MISS TYRA and CATCH A DREAM were both checked on the bend losing four lengths and all chance of a first four placing. MISS TYRA suffered spike wounds between toes which require surgery and she was stood down for 21 days. |
| Race 3 | GUTHRIE BOWRON C2 - C2 - 520 | IM NO VEGAN ran in sharply from the start and checked CATCH A PENNIE who lost four lengths. JUSTIFY A SITE had to check over the heels of IM NO VEGAN on the final bend and then finished well for 2nd placing. |
| Race 4 | CROMBIE LOCKWOOD C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | CAWBOURNE DRAG checked over the heels of SOUTHERN EIGHTY when starting on the bend and went back and out causing a check to HOMEBUSH JODIE who lost three lengths and she stayed back to finish in last place. |
| Race 5 | MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS C3 - C3 - 520 | The favourite IM READY was slow to begin and settled in last place. He then bumped with BUDDY BROKE on the first corner and again bumped with KERRYS DELIGHT entering the back straight and KERRYS DELIGHT lost three lengths in the incident. IM READY then had to check around KILMAINHAM CHILL on the home turn but finished well for a close 2nd placing. |
| Race 6 | PALAMOUNTAINS NUTRITION C3/4 - C3/4 - 305 | One of the favourites STAR TO EXCEL received a couple of bumps early in the race and settled back in the field.. He was then racing in tight quarters between LOW AND HIGHS and MAJOR HIT approaching the home straight and went back and was struck from behind by CAWBOURNE DUDE with both dogs losing ground and they finished at the rear. |
| Race 7 | MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR C3/4 - C3/4 - 305 | The favourite STATELY BABE began awkwardly from box 8 losing three lengths. She then made contact with the hind quarters of CRYSTAL KATIE on the first corner and ran wide into the bend losing a further three lengths and stayed back to finish in last place. |
| Race 8 | WANGANUI DISTANCE FINAL C2D - C2df - 755 | The favourite SWIFT FANTASY began on terms with the other runners but as is usual for her, she could not keep with the early pace and drifted to race several lengths behind the 2nd last dog. SWIFT FANTASY began to make up ground going to the back straight entrance and continued a strong run to finish in 2nd place but only one length behind the winner AWESOME BENDER. |
| Race 9 | BROAD ROOFING C5 FINAL - C5f - 305 | MATES UNITE was handy on the first corner but was checked going back onto IMA SPICE and BOTANY ANGELA, SEMENYA and GOT THE JUICE were also affected in the incident. IMA SPICE recovered best of those affected and finished in 3rd place. |
| Race 10 | KEENAN CONCRETE C5 - C5 - 520 | The favourite LITTLE MOTHER was a little slow to begin and was then hindered for a couple of strides when BIGTIME GEM shifted in. SEPTEMBER BLUE shifted out on the first corner and checked CAWBOURNE INDY who went down behind losing several lengths and she stayed back throughout to finish in last place. |
