December Start for Euthanasia Policy V2

GRNZ's Greyhound Euthanasia Policy Version 2 now includes a new provision for immediate euthanasia in the very rare event of a greyhound causing injury to a person. This ensures the safety of all persons caring for greyhounds.

It also makes clear the provisions for submissions of Notice of Intent to euthanise greyhounds, and includes a provision for seeking permission to euthanise greyhounds who seriously injure another dog, making them unsuitable for rehoming.

The policy comes into effect on 1 December 2024.
