Weather: ShoweryTrack: Good After persistant rain previous to raceday and mostly througout the meeting the track was presented in a very good racing order ,with the track being upgraded from dead to good after race 7

Health and Safety comment:
Judicial report: GREYSYND CHROME ( S Clark) completed and passed a satisfactory trial under rule 81
IMAGINATION (C Derecourt and ART ATTACK (G Noakes) applied and were given permission for these dogs to be revetted for their respective stand downs under rule 82.5 with no injuries being detected and are clear to be nominated again from 19-12-11

Race 1 | Te Oro Poto Sprint - C3 - 318 | LACHLAN VALLEY was akwardly away from the boxes costing him a length or so , ALABASTER was also akwardly away from the inside draw seeming to lose grip on the mat for a stride ,he got up in to a handy position soon after ,he was tightened for room as they raced in to the first turn and was checked back 3 or more lengths Racing to the home turn THRILLING PETRA changed ground inwards suddenly cutting across the face of JETSUN JULES who was almost stopped in her tracks ,both these dogs were towards the rear at this point |
Race 2 | True Aussie Sprint - C0 - 318 | Soon after the start there was tightning and jostling as HAIR SHE IS came across on to COOL AND DRY ,PINT STAR and KEZZ with these dogs losing a couple of lengths , soon after racing in to the first turn KEZZ came out as COOL AND DRY came in with PINT STAR caught in between them , these three dogs lost more ground and finished in the last three placings at the line |
Race 3 | Auckland Vending Series Final - C1f - 318 | Soon after the start MOON WARROWER came across on to BEARLY POSSIBLE hampering him for several strides once BEARLY POSSIBLE got clear of MOON WARROWER ,KID KOONAWARRA came across on to him where BEARLY POSSIBLE went back a stride and came out then inwards in trying to avoid the heels of KID KOONAWARRA ,in behind these dogs EXCITING DREAM and BON VOUGE had come together and they jostled for several strides as they raced in to the first turn |
Race 4 | Maggie Bale Sprint - C2 - 318 | From the boxes ELLY'S GIRL ran across on to THRILLING SIMONE hampering her for a couple of strides Racing in to the first turn STILL NO WIVES came in on to ELLY'S GIRL with PARADISE CITY being checked back to the rear PRIMED TO DASH from the boxes raced out wide with her covering a lot of extra ground through out the running On the point of the home turn THRILLING SIMONE changed ground outwards to get around STILL NO WIVES as HIT DA NOS moved out as they straightened with THRILLING SIMONE and HIT DA NOS colliding with both dogs being put off stride where they finished in the rear group at the line |
Race 5 | Surf Breaker Sprint - C1 - 318 | LOCKLINNIE was akwardly away from midfield ,made up good ground for fourth placing at the line |
Race 6 | Thornton Auctions Day Feature Stakes - C3 - 527 | MARK'S PET was a late scratching at kenneling on vets advice with a wart on his pad/ toe area with a 5 day stand down recommended MACHIN SHIN was slowest away by a couple of lengths ,was able to gain a clear run througout there after to win easy. THRILLING CAIRO was tightened against the rail at the post the first time round but recovered well to finish in 2nd placing at the line , THRILLING CAIRO was sent for a vet check as a precaution and was found to have suffered no injuries from the incident |
Race 7 | Nimrod Patrol Sprint - C4 - 318 | NATHAN'S CHAMP was akwardly away for a stride ,then soon came together with ASTON RED BINGO STARR raced out wide from the boxes and tried to get in closer racing in to the first turn but was unable too ,,he covered a bit of extra ground across the top bend and may have finished closer then 4th with a better run in closer to the other runners througout the journey |
Race 8 | Catch My Patch Stakes - C1/2 - 527 | MY TIE (fav) lost half length at the start which was enough from box 4 for her to get in to a tight spot on the first corner as STABILE EYES tried to come off the fence pushing DELICHON URBICA out on to MY TIE as MONSHIRAZ came across from wider out, all these four dogs were checked at this point losing a good 5 lengths which was too much for them to recover from there on in they made up the last four runners at the line |
Race 9 | Founders Plate - C5 - 318 | In the run down to the first turn EMBEZZELMENT came out as PUNK DINO came in ,they jostled for a few strides , ROLLED OATS came across from wide out trying to cross over running in on to EMBEZZELMENT resulting in PUNK DINO being squeezed back losing several lengths at that point, CHEVERTON was in behind EMBEZZELMENT and was forced to check back off heels also losing his momentum these runners were unable to to in to contention from there on in ROLLED OATS was noticed to have suffered a right shoulder cut and the vet stapled it with a 7 day stand down recommended |
Race 10 | Founders Day Cup - C5 - 527 | Racing around the first corner WINSOME RITE ran in to the hind quarters of WINSOME FLASH with WINSOME RITE bouncing off him , but recovered well to keep his position at this point |
Race 11 | Crafty Tiree Sprint - C5 - 318 | Racing down to the first turn there was bumping and jostling between COLLISION RISK and BENGINEER resulting in BENGINEER being checked and being almost stopped in his tracks as COLLISION RISK moved back in after moving outwards soon after the start BENGINEER lost all chance in this incident and this run could be best forgotten GEMZ raced out wide from the 8 box and very wide in to and around the top bend covering a lot of extra ground in the running finishing in last position at the line |
Race 12 | Galatic Notice Sprint - C3/4 - 318 | In the run down to the first turn There was movement inwards from HAIR HE IS as ROTOVEGAS GIRL and RHODA HOLMES came out with these three runners coming together for several strides, RHODA HOLMES fared best out of this incident to get to the lead and carry on for a good win On making the run in to the first turn PUNK PORTSEA came down on to HAIR HE IS causing him to be checked and lose ground at this point |
