Judicial report: An inquiry had been opened and adjourned in to the circumstances of the late scratching of NAUGHTY COURTY who was stood down for 7 days at the Auckland Greyhound meeting on 7-6-2012

Race 1 | Replays @ www.agrc.co.nz Sprint - C2 - 318 | HOMEBUSH TAYLOR was hard to box today ,and will be put on the box first list until further notice. FRIZZLE FRAZZLEwas slow away. Racing in to the first turn HOMEBUSH TAYLOR was tightened out from between runners going back several lengths and ran out on to FRIZZLE FRAZZLE both runners lost 5 lengths at this point . On the point of the home turn REALON RAPTURE and MOODY TUNES came together and jostled for several strides HOMEBUSH TAYLOR was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found. |
Race 2 | Sel's TABS Stakes - C1 - 527 | Racing in to the first turn INDI RHODE (fav) was tightened and was pushed in the hindquarters by MARTYN STREET turning INDI RHODE sideways with both these runners going wide losing ground and could not get back in to contention there on in INDI RHODE was sent for a vet check and was found to be suffering from a right hock strain with a 10 day stand down recommended |
Race 3 | Reel-Fishin.com Sprint - C3 - 318 | Soon after the start SWIFT SWINGER raced across tightning AUSTIN WILD and PERCENTAGE MAN. Racing in to the first turn HOT LASS raced across on to BEARLY POSSIBLE colliding in to SWIFT SWINGER AUSTIN WILD and PERCENTAGE MAN in behind PARRA SPARRA ran on to heels all these runners were checked in this incident. PARRA SPARRA and BEARLY POSSIBLE ran wide in to the top bend. |
Race 4 | Plaster Board Distance - C1d - 603 | Racing round the bend out of the straight the first time BINGO STARR came out underneath of BOTANY GARETH BINGO STARR ran wide at this point in to the back straight. |
Race 5 | Hounds on TV3 Sprint - C1 - 318 | Soon after the start there was tightning and jostling BIG LASS ran wide across the face of the field FLYIN' MAGNUM was checked as she caught the heels of BIG LASS. ILLA GLADYS raced wide through out the journey. NAUGHTY COURTY was scratched by the Stewards (refer judicial) |
Race 6 | Peter Earley's 40th Silver Collar Stakes - C5 - 527 | Soon after the start LITTLE MOTHER (fav)was tightened and squeezed back towards the rear . Racing in to the first turn LITTLE MOTHER and TIMS TIGER came together LITTLE MOTHER tried to make ground thereafter having to race around runners covering extra ground she finished towards the rear at the line. |
Race 7 | Major John Blakeley Memorial Stakes - C3 - 527 | Racing down in to the first turn FANCY TOBY and THRILLING CHARGE were tightened and checked as BOTANY MATHEW raced across from wider out |
Race 8 | Happy Birthday Karen Stakes - C3/4 - 527 | The Stewards reviewed the running of the race around the top bend when it was observed that the lure may have got a few metres further in front of the runners than intended. After reviewing the race it was clear that the lure did get a little bit further in front than intended but all runners were chasing hard and no dogs were disadvantaged by this. All clear. |
Race 9 | Carol's TABS Sprint - C5 - 318 | MATANUSKA was first away today he went straight to the front and was never headed Soon after the start there was tightning and jostling between AIN'T NO SAINT HOMEBUSH BRITNEY LACHLAN VALLEY and CAWBOURNE COOKIE for several strides. |
Race 10 | Plaster Board Duke Of Edinburgh Silver Collar - C2df - 779 | Racing in to the first turn THRILLING BRAT came across on to WANDY KYLE PLATINUM PLAYBOY with these runners colliding .WANDY KYLE went down on his hind quarters slightly at this point losing ground. PLATINUM PLAYBOY ran outwards in trying to recover his balance taking GLORIANNA and OPAWA EYE wide at this point forcing them over a fair amount of extra ground . |
Race 11 | Hifi Allegro Sprint Series Final - C5f - 318 | Soon after the start GLOW BELLE DOLL and ELLY'S GIRL collided. Racing in to the first turn MOTHERLEE came across sharply tightning LETHAL REBEL KISSIN KATE and CAPTAIN COUTTS. MOTHERLEE was turned sideways at this point running out wide. On the point of the top bend there was tightning between several runners with LETHAL REBEL going amiss and pulling up LETHAL REBEL was taken off the track for veterinary attention. LETHEL REBEL was found to have suffered a left fore fractured radius ulna and was euthanased |
Race 12 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C4 - 318 | There was no head on coverage for this race Racing in to the first turn BOY SPICE was racing in a handy position was tightened between runners BOY SPICE went back through the field to the rear ,he made ground through the field then ran wide in to the home straight . |
