Race 1 | ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305 | REGINA HAKE shifted in from the start and MAGIC BOLT shifted out and this resulted in several runners drawn between being hampered. SHEZA FOOLING shifted out going into the bend and caused checks to MAGIC BOLT, REBEL CITY, HOMEBUSH VERONA and ANOTHER DRINK and they lost several lengths and all chance. |
Race 2 | MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS C3 - C3 - 305 | DONKEY DEEP shifted in abruptly from the start and caused checks to STIFF DRINK, BOSTON BLAZE, GO WITH IT and DARLEK KHAN and they all settled back. DARLEK KHAN, GO WITH IT and BOSTON BLAZE jostled together for a short distance going to the first corner and lost ground with GO WITH IT suffering the most and she went back to last place. STIFF DRINK checked off the back of BIGTIME CHIP on the bend and shifted out to cover extra ground. |
Race 3 | J P PRINT (PETONE) C3 - C3 - 305 | THRILLING MIGHT was a little slow to begin and settled back. RUN JUNIOR RUN, ALL THE MILK and SUPREME SHELLEEN jostled together for a short distance soon after the start and soon after, SHELDON BAXTER galloped on the heels of ALL THE MILK and both runners were inconvenienced and dropped back to the rear group where they remained until the finish. |
Race 4 | PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 | JONESY'S FORTUNE shifted in going into the first bend and checked BUSTER BOY which went back and out causing checks to CAESAR CHANCE, TINA'S DILEMA and THAT'S KING and all four runners lost four lengths in the incident. |
Race 5 | WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ CS FINAL - C2f - 520 | NOSE WHITE was the slowest to begin and he stayed back and drifted to be several lengths last at the finish. NOSE WHITE was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. DUTCHESS QUEEN checked across the heels of I'M A CATCH going into the first bend and shifted out to race wide. ALPINADOR on the outside was also forced to race wide on the bend. |
Race 6 | WANGANUI SECURITY C1 D - C1d - 645 | ALAMEIN GUS shifted in from the start and bumped NOAKI HURRICANE which checked and lost three lengths and he stayed back throughout the race and finished in 7th place. NOAKI HURRICANE was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and cleared of injury. |
Race 7 | GARY ROSS DECORATOR C5 - C5 - 305 | NEED TO CHILL was down in weight by 2.2 kilograms and the Trainers advised that the decrease was intentional. RUAPEHU shifted in from the start and hampered BOLT RAMA, NEED TO CHILL and POPSOME TAGS and they were briefly unbalanced but recovered quickly and featured in the finish. EXPONENTIAL LILY shifted in going into the bend and severely checked RUAPEHU which lost several lengths and stayed back to finish in last place. |
Race 8 | HARRISON HIRE MASTER C5 - C5 - 305 | ERUZA and COSMIC FURY bumped together when the start was made and COSMIC FURY was unbalanced and settled at the rear where he stayed throughout the race. |
Race 9 | THE ROCK 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 305 | WILD PUNTING, ARMED FORCES, SWEET LIES and PRINCELY DOLLAR jostled together for some distance soon after the start and SWEET LIES was eventually checked back to the rear. YA LAUGHIN clipped the heels of ARMED FORCES going into the bend and ARMED FORCES shifted out into the line of PRINCELY DOLLAR and all three runners lost ground. |
Race 10 | KEENAN CONCRETE C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | RITZA JACK received an interrupted run being checked and bumped on several occasions going to the first corner and went back to the rear where he stayed throughout the remainder of the race. |
Race 11 | WANGANUI CHRONICLE C4 - C4 - 305 | LADY ANABELLA and OPAWA SACHA were both checked back to the rear when there was general tightening going into the bend and they stayed back to the finish. |
Race 12 | CROMBIE LOCKWOOD(NZ) LTD C4 - C4 - 305 | CRYSTAL WAVE and MATILDA'S BABE began awkwardly losing ground. MATILDA'S BABE then raced wide on the bend covering extra ground but finished well for 3rd placing. CRYSTAL WAVE, HOMEBUSH DOMINO and SHAGA BANGA BANG jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and dropped back to the rear and stayed there to finish in the last three places. |
