Judicial report: MISS VALLEY INN ( C Roberts ) was scratched in race 8 due to being in a field at Christchurch today also, refer judicial for that meeting

Race 1	Cawbourne Racing Kennels Maiden Feature - C0 - 457	Racing in to the first CAWBOURNE LOCH angled in towards the rail across the face of OPAWA KEVIN ( fav ) resulting in OPAWA KEVIN running out across heels on to FALL FROM GRACE ,a couple of strides on CAWBOURNE KIN and FALL FROM GRACE came together ZIMMER FRAME in behind was forced to check out off the hind of CAWBOURNE KIN
Race 2	Opawa Racing Invitation C2-4 - INV - 375	OPAWA OPAL dwelt at the start being last away in the early rush Racing in to the first bend WHAT'S UP GEE racing to the lead cut down to the rail across the face of BLUE I AM who went in across the face of KAPUTSKI ( fav )running on to the back of BLUE I AM and was checked going back towards the rear bumping SPEEDY BOAT out on to ALL IN BERLIN these two runners went wide on to the top bend KAPUTSKI was unable to make a lot of ground there after finishing in 5th placing at the line The Stewards reviewed the lure distance in front of the dogs in the last 30 or so mitres of the race where it was observed the lure may have been closer than the required distance After a through review it was assessed that no dogs were affected with the no 7 dog clearly finishing over the top of the no 6 and 3 dog
Race 3	Quay Marine C3/4 - C3/4 - 375	Racing in to the first bend WHEELIE RASCAL caught the heels of BLUE AND CURLY losing momentum and several lengths WHEELIE RASCAL was unable to get back in to contention from there after
Race 4	Strait Shipping NZ Bred C2-3 - SPECA - 375	ROCKETSHIP MAC dwelt at the start, SEMANTICS ran in sharply across the face of FEAR MARINA Racing in to he first bend BOX OF FLUFFIES and CHINESE STAR severely tightening in on to WHEELIE CHILLIE,SEMANTICS resulting in WHEELIE CHILLIE running on to the back of CHINESE STAR almost dragging this runner down as CHINESE STAR went back he was bumped by ROCKETSHIP MAC CHINESE STAR raced in the rear there after finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found
Race 5	Lisa & Brendon Cole C5 Feature - C5 - 375	Racing from the start ALLEGRO BLAST ran across on to POPSOME TAGS turning this runner sideways for a stride Racing in to the home straight NERO racing on the inner when attempting to gain a run was tightened in making contact with the rail on a couple of occasions catching the heels of POPSOME TAGS ,NERO lost momentum finishing towards the rear at the line NERO was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have suffered a laceration on the right hind main pad
Race 6	Preston's Master Butchers NZ Bred C2-3 - SPECA - 457	From the jump OPAWA SHACKLEY ( fav ) ran in sharply pushing OPAWA TOM and BOTANY RICHIE across on the heels of BOTANY LIZ this runner bumped in to WHEELIE GOOD Racing nearing the first bend BOTANY LIZ ran in on to WHEELIE GOOD knocking this runner of balance and he ran out over the heels of BOTANY LIZ in to ANOTHER HABIT both dogs were checked losing momentum Racing in to the bend WHEELIE GOOD ran wide covering a fair amount of extra ground in to the home straight where he was observed to be uncomfortable in his galloping action finishing well back at the line WHEELIE GOOD was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found
Race 7	Farmlands C3/4 - C3/4 - 457	Racing down to the first bend OPAWA JACKIE angled in behind the leader came together with the side of CAWBOURNE PHILIP as GRADER JACK came out bumping CAWBOURNE PHILIP outwards Racing in to the bend OPAWA JACKIE angled in across the face of CAWBOURNE PHILIP checking him back to the rear, wider out CURIOUS LIFE raced across from box 8 tightening in on to PREMIER DIVISION, OPAWA JACKIE, GRADER JACK and CAWBOURNE PHILIP on the inner all these runners lost several lengths
Race 8	Greyhounds As Pets C1/2 - C1/2 - 457	Racing from the start RIKKI'S REBEL ran in on to WORBOYS,MEMORY LAPSE and CAWBOURNE GRACIE,MEMORY LAPSE went back off heels WORBOYS also went back going outwards over heels bumping in to CAWBOURNE CLOVER ( fav ) who went back angling outwards CAWBOURNE CLOVER soon after improved around runners to finish strongly to win BOTANY SEL ran widest on to and around the bend
Race 9	David Scott Invitation Stakes C2-4 - INV - 457	Jumping from the boxes ALLMENDINGER ( 1st NZ start ) ran in sharply stumbling in to SPIRIT RUN almost tripping this runner up SPIRIT RUN raced a margin in the rear she made ground through out the running to finish several lengths in last placing at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment as a precaution where no abnormalities were found Racing in to the first bend SPRINGVALE HARRY angled in on to VARGA FROST resulting in BOSTON LIGHTNING running in to the back of VARGA FROST both runners were checked as BOSTON LIGHTNING back on to ALLMENDINGER this runner recovered quickly back in to stride to race around the outer to finish on strongly to win
Race 10	Group 2 Nancy Cobain Final - C2df - 660	All clear
Race 11	wheeldeal.co.nz Trainers Invitation - C5 - 457	As the field jumped away from the boxes DR BRM began very awkwardly stumbling as he came out losing a big margin as the field raced away wider out SKUZI ran in on to IZZEY BALE and MELHAM checking these runners for a stride DR BRM raced in the rear throughout there after finishing in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have bruising over the left side hip area
Race 12	Outback Trading Company Manawatu Cup - C5 - 457	From the boxes BOSTON HEART ran in on to CHECK THE MAIL bumping this runner in for a stride or so ROLEX ROO from box 8 raced wide in to the bend, RADWANSKA in behind followed him out wide both dogs covered a fair amount of ground in the running finishing n the rear at the line
