Track: Good New sand was laid on the track on Tuesday with the track also being lasered and levelled.
Scales: Correct at all weights.
Health and Safety comment: Due to this being a dual code meeting a marshall was organised to facilitate the safe transfer of dogs and handlers from the kennel block across the harness track.

Judicial report: FANCY NOMIKAI (B Dann) completed a satisfactory trial as required by Rule 79.

PAUA SHOT (6) shifted inwards after jumping and made firm contact with SPEEDY DISPATCH (4) .SPEEDY DISPATCH was checked and lost ground as a result. ROYAL ACTION (2) was hampered in consequence when contacted by SPEEDY DISPATCH.
Race 2	House Of Allure - Lincoln Dash - C3 - 295	REPLAY (8) and RUSHCUTER ACTION (6) were slow to begin.BO'S BUSINESS (5) shifted outwards after the start and made contact with REPLAY which was hampered as a result.GOOD GENES (2) and MAY MAY LAST (3) jostled for some distance rounding the bend with GOOD GENES losing momentum,GOOD GENES was contacted from behind by REPLAY rounding the turn and lost all chance.GOOD GENES was referred to the club veterinarian and cleared from injury.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C3 - 295	ZORBA THE GREEK (4) was slow to begin.OPAWA LEAN MEAT (1) ran outwards rounding the turn and hampered HOMEBUSH RUFUS (6).HARDEN FASTER (8) was hampered in consequence.
Race 4	I Pave Concrete Dash - C4 - 295	ADROIT (6) was a late scratching when being found to be in season prior to the start.AIDEN BAXTER (7) shifted inwards after jumping and hampered ALEX RUMBLE(5) inwards onto SUPER BAD (4) which was checked and MYSTIC ACTION (3) which was badly unbalanced and lost all chance .MYSTIC ACTION was referred to the club veterinarian and cleared from injury.GUMP'S THE NAME (2) was hampered in consequence.
Race 5	David Emerson Consultancy Dash - C3 - 295	STAND UP GIRL(1) was slow to begin.EARN ME SOME (4) was hampered shortly after the start when crowded by outside runners.HARSESIS (7) continued to shift inwards and hampered both SKETCHY STEVE (6) and RAND (5) .Into the turn SKETCHY STEVE was unbalanced when tight to the inside of HARSESIS.RAPAKI KATH (2) was unbalanced on the turn when tight to the inside of WOOLY WHATSIT (3) which was taken in by TOKEN ACE (8).TOKEN ACE was unbalanced rounding the turn when contacted by the improving HARSESIS.
Race 6	Garden City Chem-Dry Stakes - C2 - 520	ZIPPING SONNY (7) and GOLDSTAR COCO (8) were slow to begin.ESTER ACTION (5) shifted inwards after the start and checked KNOW CHEERS (4).KNOW LAUGHING (1) shifted outwards shortly after the start and made contact with OPAWA ALEX (2).OPAWA ALEX and KNOW LAUGHING jostled passing the winning post on the first occasion .KNOW LAUGHING lost momentum and shifted wider hampering ZIPPING SONNY.OPAWA BORN (6) gave ground from entering the back straight .OPAWA BORN was referred to the club veterinarian for assessment and found to suffering from abdominal cramping and diarrhoea with a 10 day stand down imposed. .OPAWA ALEX was referred to the club veterinarian and found to be suffering from the thumps with no stand down required
Race 7	Mac Developments Stakes - C3 - 520	ACE BALE (7) was slow in the initial stages.Into the first bend RAEWYN (6) checked outwards across the heels of LEKTRA CONCORD (9).Shortly thereafter JON SNOW LIVES (3) was checked and unbalanced when tight to the inside of LEKTRA CONCORD, shifting outwards abruptly. Into the back straight RAEWYN shifted outwards and made firm contact with JON SNOW LIVES.
Race 8	Flair Dash - C5 - 295	MAUDIE'S BABE (6) was slow to begin. BARNICLE BULLET (3) shifted inwards after jumping and hampered both HARKONEN BALE (2) and TINA (1). HARKONEN BALE was hampered in consequence and struck the rail with a veterinary check revealing a laceration that required sutures. TINA shifted outwards into the turn and made firm contact with MAUDIE'S BABE.
Race 9	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C4/5 - 520	GOLDSTAR AVERY (4) was hampered shortly after the start when buffeted between BOSTON BILLY (5) and KNOW HERO (3) which shifted outwards.KNOW HERO was unbalanced momentarily as a result.Into the first turn GOLDSTAR AVERY shifted outwards and made contact with BENJAMIN BLACK(8) with both runners being unbalanced, losing momentum .KNOW HERO ran wider on the first bend and forced BOSTON BILLY and KNOW MENTION (6) over extra ground. GOLDSTAR AVERY and BENJAMIN BLACK jostled for a distance and made firm contact when rounding the first bend.
Race 10	Robbie's Bar & Bistro New Zealand Oaks - R/Af - 520	KNOW JINX (8) was slow in the initial stages. CAWBOURNE KRISTY (5) and ZIPPING SASHA (6) made firm contact shortly after the start. OM NOM NOM (1) was unbalanced when contacted shortly thereafter when OPAWA SHACKLEY(3) dictated OPAWA VAL (2) inwards.Passing the winning post on the first occasion NINA BAXTER (4) was checked after jostling with CAWBOURNE KRISTY. OPAWA VAL shifted outwards abruptly into the first turn and further hampered NINA BAXTER and inconvenienced KNOW JINX. Rounding the turn OM NOM NOM was unbalanced when tight between ZIPPING SASHA and CAWBOURNE KRISTY. As a result OM NOM NOM shifted outwards badly unbalancing CAWBOURNE KRISTY.
Race 11	christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Dash - C5 - 295	ARBRE CHENE (4) and KERAMUS (5) were slow to begin.GRAND APACHE (8) shifted inwards shortly after the start and dictated SMASH THAT (7) inwards onto PUMA PANTS (2) and MICKEY TEE (1) both of which were buffeted.PUMA PANTS lost ground into the bend when jostling with MICKEY TEE.Rounding the bend CULVIE GODFATHER (6) ran wide and forced KERAMUS over considerable extra ground.
Race 12	Livamol Sprint - C4 - 295	OPAWA ROCKET (1) was slow to begin. Into the turn MULBERRY BROOK (3) was unbalanced when contacted from the inside by RICK'S TREASURE (6).MAGIC MIKE (7) was hampered in consequence and covered extra ground .The trailing OPAWA ROCKET improved quickly rounding the turn and made firm contact with the hindquarters of RICK'S TREASURE, being unbalanced momentarily.
