| Race 3 | EVOQUE CAFE @ REMARKABLES - C1 - 390 | IDOL STAR (2) - turned her head outwards on the turn and eased up. No head or muzzle contact was made with another runner but the action caused CHILL OUT RACH to suddenly check stride. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury with Stewards charging the dog under Rule 79.1b with failing to pursue with a 28 day suspension imposed and the dog required to complete a Satisfactory Trial before resuming. The greyhound had previously been charged under this Rule but had in the time between completed well over 10 clear runs and had the endorsement cancelled. SUPER STEVE (4) - checked at jump. FEAR MARINA (5) - checked at jump. PRINCELY MONEY (7) - checked at jump. SMASHNIAK SMASH (8) - ran sharply inwards at jump checking runners to inside. CHILL OUT RACH (9/3) - checked on turn and then faltered to finish a distant last. A post race veterinary check revealed a suspected hock injury with a x-ray recommended and a 42 day stand down. |
