Judicial report: 1). OPAWA CRUSADE (Race 2) was a late scratching at 9.35am.

2). ANDOLAS (R Blackburn) completed a satisfactory box trial and is now cleared to resume racing.

3). CARNEGIE HALL (Race 7) was stood down pending a box trial and is to be boxed first in future.

GREET THE JUDGE (4) - awkwardly placed between runners prior to the bend. MUST DESIRE (5) - boxed first. SARAYA JAYDE (6) - came inwards exiting bend and bumped with inside runner. PADDY THE BAKER (7) - slow early
Race 2	Addington Events Centre Dash - C2/3 - 295	HOMEBUSH SHANE (1) - checked outwards off heels exiting bend making body contact with outside runner. MANDI MAE (2) - placed in restricted room in run to bend. awkwardly placed on heels entering bend and again rounding bend before running wide i the run home. CAWBOURNE PATTY (3) - bumped from outside shortly after start. Squeezed for racing room and lost ground entering the bend. SAHARA SAM (4) - bumped from outside shortly after start. WHOSE HE (5) - boxed first. Came up with the lid and began awkwardly. GO POPPY (6) - crowded for room early stages. Dragged down entering bend. Referred to vet - no injury detected. SCREW AND BOLT (7) - came down track abruptly early stages crowding inside runners. contacted from inside exiting bend.
Race 3	Mac Developments Dash - C2 - 295	OPAWA CRUSADE (2) - slightly squeezed entering bend losing ground. OPAWA OPAL (3) - late scratched at 9.35am. STORMY SUNDAY (4) - slow early.
Race 4	Spectator's Bar & Bistro Sprint - C2/3 - 295	BIRDIE TEE (5) - bumped from outside entering bend. Exited bend awkwardly making contact with the running rail before becoming unbalanced losing ground. Cleared of injury post race. EXTRA CREDIT (6) - missed the jump. Assessed by the vet post race and found to have a wound to a foot with a 7 day stand down imposed.
Race 5	Thursday Place Pick Stakes - C2 - 520	OPAWA MINSTREL (4) - bumped several times in run to first bend. SPRING SAM (5) - squeezed early and forced down track. BOTANY ALAN (6) - bumped with inside runner in run to first bend before having to check inwards off heels losing momentum. squeezed entering final bend losing ground.
Race 6	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C3 - 520	JINJA JAFFA (1) - boxed first. Awkwardly placed on heels entering first bend and had to steady. Checked entering back straight losing momentum. REPLICA YELLA (2) - bumped outside runner entering first bend. CHIPPA LATA (3) - jostled with outside runner in run to first bend. OPAWA ANTHONY (4) - jostled with inside runner in run to first bend. LUMINARY (6) - boxed first. bumped entering first bend. TAMARA MAY (7) - checked and turned outwards entering first bend. Cleared of injury post race.
Race 7	Carol's T.A.B. Clendon Inn Sprint - C4/5 - 295	CARNEGIE HALL (2) - proved difficult to load. Turned in boxes taking no part. Stood down pending a satisfactory box trial and is to be boxed first in future. SWIMMING GOAT (3) - subjected to a post race vet check which revealed a torn triceps muscle with a 14 day stand down imposed. WOW MADONNA (4) - bumped from outside in run to bend. MICKEY TEE (5) - crowded for racing room early stages losing ground. FLIBERTY JIBERTY (6) - crowded for racing room early stages. Check out off heels rounding bend. HOMEBUSH RUFUS (7) - crowded for racing room early stages. Ran wide final straight. JINJA BRIAN (8) - came down track early stages crowding inside runners.
Race 8	I Pave Concrete Stakes - C4 - 520	OPAWA ZENA (1) - faltered in its gait entering the back straight losing ground. Vet checked and found to have sustained a torn tricep with a 28 day stand down imposed. KNOW JINX (6) - contacted from inside entering first bend. Forced up track final bend. MINA ALLEN (7) - checked outwards off heels rounding final bend forcing other runners up the track. OPAWA JIMBO (9/8) - forced up track final bend.
Race 9	Nina's Girl NZ Racing Series Distance Final - NZRSdf - 732	OPAWA HOPE (5) - squeezed for room entering the back straight. CAN'T CATCH TIM (7) - boxed first. Raced wide early and round first bend.
Race 10	Christchurch Casino 2017 Canterbury Futurity - R/Af - 520	OPAWA SHELDON (1) - boxed first. Crowded for room exiting final bend losing momentum. OPAWA PLUM (3) - bumped with outside runner early stages. Placed in restricted room entering first bend and had to steady losing ground. MIN HO (4) - bumped with inside runner early stages. Crowded for room exiting final bend. OPAWA BRAD (5) - crowded for room exiting final bend. MAZU (7) - placed pressure on inside runners exiting final bend. OPAWA PAM (8) - slow to jump.
Race 11	Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C4/5 - 295	SMASH THAT (1) - boxed first. Jostled exiting bend. BURN EARLY (5) - crowded for racing room early stages. Struggled to maintain position with field. Subjected to a post race vet check which revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow performance up with the connections in the coming days. ANOTHER BELLE (6) - crowded for racing room early stages. HOMEBUSH SLOAN (8) - jostled exiting bend.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint - C4 - 295	HOMEBUSH KELSO (2) - squeezed for racing room prior to the bend and lost ground. Climbed on heels rounding bend. CHOKEHOLD (4) - awkwardly placed on heels and had to check entering bend. DEMAN BLUE BLOOD (5) - had heels climbed on rounding bend and was further checked exiting it. Cleared of injury post race. KNOW SCRUTINY (7) - awkwardly placed on heels entering bend.
