Track: Good Track was presented in a good racing condition being well maintained throughout. All other equipment operated well.

Judicial report: K Gommans was fined $100-00 rule 45.11 after STOLE ME WALLET race 10 was presented to race - 1.7 kgs from last race start on 5-1-2018
AL'S APPRENTICE ( W Kite )rule ( 55.10) -SPIRIT OF NATHAN ( C Morris ) Rule 55.10 ) Whippy Bale ( C Morris ) all completed a satisfactory trials in Blinkers -rule ( 44.17 ) and are now cleared to race.
ALAMEIN TIGER ( Kettlewell/Phillips ) NIPPA JOY & PARIS GLOBAL ( J McInerney ) all completed satisfactory trials in Blinkers rule ( 44.17 ).
UNO AGAIN ( N Udy ) race 12 was a Club Scratching.
A incident on the first bend in race 6 was well managed for the remainder of the race by Lure driver Ray Udy with the race being able to be completed.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305	STOLE ME CAR ( 1 ) - Dwelt slightly settled behind the pace angled outwards and was bumped on the home turn only battled thereafter. CELECTIAL ACTION ( 2 ) - held up racing in to the first bend improved along the inner angled outwards bumping with another runner on the home turn SET THE LIMIT ( 6 ) - Forced to race widest in to and across the top bend drifted out to finish last . ANOTHER VESPA ( 8 ) - late scratched at kenneling with bruising to near hind gracilis muscle.
Race 2	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	EYE KNO ( 5 ) - dwelt a the jump ran inwards bumping with another runner.- held up racing in to the first bend was unable to improve. BIGTIME MICHELLE ( 6 ) - forced to race widest to the back straight was unable to improve referred to the vet was referred to the vet and was found to be lame in the right hind with pain & swelling of hock joint. BIGTIME BRUCIE ( 7 ) - settled back early -improved along the inner along the back straight finished strongly in the run to the line.
Race 3	PALAMOUNTIANS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION FINAL C1 - C1f - 520	BIGTIME COFFEE ( 4 ) - racing around the first bend angled inwards checking runner on her inner. BIGTIME FORECAST ( 5 ) - checked losing a length or so in the run around the first bend. BIGTIME SERENA ( 6 ) - bumped and checked racing off the mats- soon after angled out making contact with hindquarters of a wide runner. BIGTIME MIKE ( 7 ) - ran in sharply from the jumping bumping in to runner on his inner. WHITE COMET ( 10/8 ) checked from the side in the run to the bend on the first occasion was unable to improve there after.
Race 4	WANGANUI CHRONICAL C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	ALLEGRO LASS ( 1 ) - clipped from behind racing in to the first bend soon after checked and ran extremely wide on the top bend losing all chance. BIGTIME DOUG ( 3 ) - checked by falling runner racing around the bend losing all chance. MILA MILA ( 4 ) - slightly hampered by falling runner for a stride or so racing around the bend. DAISY LARA ( 5 ) - came together with LOVER racing around the bend. LOVER ( 6 ) - vying for the lead on the outer of DAISY LARA racing around the bend when they came together resulting in LOVER stumbling and falling -he quickly recovered to his paws to finish on to the lure some distance back and was referred to the vet, was found to have pain in the left fan& triceps & right pectoral muscles a 7 day stand down was recommended. SO OVER IT ( 7 ) - checked by falling runner racing on to the bend. HYPOCRITICAL ( 8 ) - checked by falling runner racing on to the bend.
Race 5	FIRST SECURITY C4 - C4 - 520	RIDE AIN'T OVER ( 2 ) - dwelt at the start - angled outwards in the run to the bend on the first occasion- forced to race widest in to and around the first bend and continued to race extremely wide effort told in the run to the line. BIGTIME DONNY ( 3 ) - came out over heels racing in to the bend on the first occasion. CAWBOURNE TRIXY ( 4 ) - bumped and checked losing momentum in the run to the bend on the first occasion BIGTIME CALEB ( 6 ) -checked racing around the first bend lost some ground but quickly improved racing to the back straight. EXTRAPOLATE ( 8 ) went up with the lids and was last away by several lengths raced towards the rear thereafter.
Race 6	LASER PLUMBING WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 520	PIKO PIKO ( 1 ) - racing handy to the first bend was tightened losing his balance and went back through the field resulting in him catching heels and falling - he recovered to his paws to finish on to the lure some distance back and was referred to the Vet was found to have generalized bruising , spike wounds & abrasions a 7 day stand down was recommended. BIGTIME MONTY ( 2 ) - made contact with the shoulder of PIKO PIKO was then clipped from behind becoming unbalanced for a stride or so and went back on to PIKO PIKO racing in to the bend on the first occasion. BIGTIME FOREST ( 5 ) - ran in to the lure soon after the line and fell -quickly recovered to his paws was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. TOKI GIRL ( 6 ) - last in to the first bend was severely checked and fell when unable to avoid another falling - she regained her paws and was disintoreated turning in a circle for some time before moving to the side of the track - as the field turned for home TOKI GIRL heard the lure and attempted to cross over to chase it as it came past after the line with the lure having to be pulled up short of the normal area. TOKI GIRL was retrieved and referred to the vet. was found to have suffered bruising & swelling below the left eye a 10 day stand down was recommended. BIGTIME LIAM ( 7 ) - severely checked when galloping over falling runners racing in to the first bend - he was quickly back in to stride but had lost all chance - he ran in to and over the top of several runners at the lure and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
Race 7	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C2d - C2d - 645	COWBOURNE KAI ( 5 ) - fav- only began fairly -settled back -was hampered for a few strides racing towards the back straight was unable to improve there after finishing towards the rear and was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in right hind quadriceps & left pectoral & left hind gracilis muscles a 7 day stand down was recommended. JOE JOE ( 8 ) - led out clear leader to back straight weakened late in the run to the line was referred to the vet and was found to be lame near fore with swelling under the stopper bone a 21 day stand down was recommended.
Race 8	THE ROCK 95.2FM C4 - C4 - 305	BIGTIME PINK ( 1 ) - angled outwards in the run to the bend causing jostling and tightening to several runners for some strides. HOMEBUSH MINNE ( 2 ) - tightened and lost ground racing in to the bend BIGTIME CHAMP ( 3 ) - Angled across tightening runner on his inner for several strides racing in to the bend. IDOL HOT ( 5 ) - angled across soon after the start causing jostling and tightening to runners on her inner for some strides. OPAWA BLAIR ( 6 ) - last in to stride made ground widest in the run across the top bend to the home straight effort told in the run home. RAPPER TILLY ( 8 ) - bumped and jostled for a couple of strides in the run to the bend. GURU SECRET ( 9/4 ) - tightened and checked back in the run to the bend checking out over heels bumping in to runner on her outer.
Race 9	NZ Racing Series Sprint Final (C0-C5) - NZRSf - 305	BIGTIME BLACKIE ( 4 ) - Jostled for a couple of strides in the run to the bend. BIGTIME OTTEY ( 6 ) - jostled and tightened for some strides in the run to the bend. BIGTIME SUGAR ( 9/7 ) angled across from the jump bumping and jostling runners on his inner for some strides in the run to the bend.
Race 10	The Hatrick Classic (Group 1) Final - C5f - 520	THRILLING RAIDER ( 4 ) - began awkwardly. FUSION CRONULLA ( 8 ) - raced widest throughout.
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA C3 - C3 - 305	MIKACHU ( 1 ) - hampered soon after the start and was shuffled back towards the rear- bumped racing in to the bend when angling outwards finished strongly in the run to the line. BRIGHTEYE'S SOUL ( 2 ) - checked at the start bumped and jostled for some distance in the run in to the bend. ALL IN BERLIN ( 3 ) - checked and tightened between runners soon after the start going back a couple of lengths ON DA QUEST ( 4 ) - ran in from the jump causing jostling to himself was then bumped and pushed inwards on to inside runners GURU'S CHICE ( 5 ) - raced across soon after the start forcing inside runners bump and jostled for some strides. IT'S THE LOVELY ( 6 ) - dictated across soon after the start then hampered for some strides racing in to the bend and was held up for several strides. DREAMZONE ( 8 ) - angled across soon after the start dictating the line of runner on her inner for some distance.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C3 - C3 - 305	ASTERIA ( 3 ) - slow away hampered for a stride or so racing in to the bend unable to improve there after. CHEAP SHOT MATTY ( 4 ) - checked out over heels becoming awkwardly placed racing in to the bend running wide. DOOSH ( 5 )- hampered and became awkwardly placed racing in to the bend losing some momentum for a couple of strides. WETCHESTER ( 7 ) - raced widest throughout covering a fair amount of extra ground in the running. TAKEAWAY ( 8 ) - last in to stride attempted to make ground along the inner across the top bend unable to improve thereafter. BIGTIME RAPID ( 9/6 ) - Angled across in to the bend hampering runners on her inner for a few strides.
