Weather: Fine
Track: Good Track was well presented after rain earlier being well maintained throughout. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: No issues

Judicial report: 1- Supplementary from Wanganui greyhounds on 16-11-2019 Trainer L Cole advised the Stewards that BIGTIME BREMNER was found to be sore the next day after the meeting with a right side hip support muscle injury reported.
2- An inquiry has been opened and adjourned in to the circumstances around the need for the Stewards to scratch SILLY SALMON # 8 race 2 also shown as SEDGEBROOK MINI in some publications from today's meeting under rule 11.3 i.
3 - MITSUTA race 11 # 7 was a late scratching with reported enteritis- vet cert to be provided.
4 -WATERLOO PINK # 1 race 1 has been stood down per rule 55.1b ( failing to pursue ) 1st offence 28 day stand down and to the completion of a satisfactory trial.

5- Trainer M Flipp applied to the Stewards per rule ( 55.7 & 8 ) to have the endorsement cancelled on the papers of CHECKPOINT as the greyhound has now completed 10 clear runs.
6- The track was initially graded as dead and was upgraded to good post race 6.
7- New sand has been added to the track since the last meeting with no issues reported throughout the meeting.

Race 1 NZ'S RICHEST MAIDEN HEATS 22ND NOVEMBER C0 - C0 - 305 WATERLOO PINK (1) - from the jump ran outwards sharply bumping and jostling with runners to her outer for some distance turning her head outwards for some strides then angled across in to the bend to lead to the home was out finished in the run to the line and was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the right quadriceps after reviewing the film WATERLOO PINK has been stood down ( failing to pursue ) and to the completion of a satisfactory trial.
ARIANA SUNSET (2) - checked jumping from the boxes ran outwards for a couple of strides angled in contacting runner to her inner in to the bend losing momentum and ground was unable to improve thereafter.
BILL BARNACLE (3) - last in to stride then improved quickly along the inner and was tightened and checked in to the bend losing momentum and ground as he came back off heels finishing in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
BIG TIME SPOT (4) - checked soon after the start when run in to to and forced outwards for some distance was able to keep her ground as they raced in to the bend.
YARN SISTER (5) - soon after the start was bumped and checked changed ground inwards soon after checked again in to the bend losing momentum was unable to get in to contention thereafter.
GEMMAS DILEMMA (6) - bumped and checked soon after the start and jostled for some strides losing momentum and ground racing to the bend made ground across the top bend to the line.
MY EMMETT (7) - began awkwardly for a stride dictated outwards to the bend made ground around the field to the home turn effort told in the run to the line.
GIRAFFE CLUB (8) - fav- attempted to angle across soon after the start catching heels and bumping and jostling with GEMMAS DILEMMA for some distance in the run to the bend angled inwards and was clipped from behind in to the bend made ground along the inner to the line.
Race 2 WHANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 305 BIG TIME PLUTO (1) - fav- dwelt slightly improved towards the lead and was bumped and jostled becoming unbalanced for a stride or so racing in to the bend allowing runner to improve through on his inner costing him a few lengths.
ZARA JEWEL (2) - tightened and checked soon after the start going back checked again and lost momentum in to the bend was unable to improve thereafter.
IDOL WILSON (3) - ran inwards from the jump bumping with runners to his inner for a couple of strides hampered and lost ground in to the bend improved quickly once clear on to the top bend to finish best.
PARIS END (4) - dwelt and was last in to stride attempted to improve racing in to the bend and was tightened and checked losing momentum and ground finished on in the run to the line.
AHUROA WHIZZ (5) - began awkwardly but was quick in to stride improving to the bend when jostled from his outer and was awkwardly placed in to the bend going wide losing some ground.
TELLTALE SIGNS (6) - attempted to angled across racing to the bend bumping with runners to her inner for a couple of strides was then severely tightened between runners almost falling as they raced in to the bend losing all chance from there on in and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
Race 3 RIVERCITY GAS C1 - C1 - 305 LESLIE ALBERT (1) - dwelt slightly quickly in to stride hampered for several strides when jostled in the run to the bend was able to keep his ground to race handy thereafter.
BIG TIME ROSE (2) - began awkwardly stumbled for a stride soon after jostled with runner to her inner for some strides then hampered from her outer racing in to the bend
TYNECASTLE FLYER (4) - hampered and held up for some strides in the run in to the bend losing momentum and ground finishing in the rear at the line.
GOLDSTAR AUBURN (5) - went up with the lids then stumble coming off the mats settled back by 5 or so lengths was able to make good ground along the inner around the bend finishing on in to 3rd placing at the line.
HOMEBUSH YURI (6) - hampered soon after the start as runner to her outer angled across sharply forcing her across in between runners for some strides racing in to the bend
AHUROA PRINCE (7) - ran inwards from the jump tightening runners to his inner for some strides was then forced to check abruptly out over heels losing momentum and ground
CHECKPOINT (8) - raced wide from the jump angled across in to the bend tightening and checking runners to her inner was then hampered for some distance in the run around the bend when attempting to improve her position .
Race 4 ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1 - C1 - 305 I'LL BE LOYAL (3) - attempted to angle outwards soon after the start causing herself to be bumped and jostled losing some ground racing to the bend.
CHAT YA LATER (4) - went up with the lids settled back tightened and lost ground racing in to the bend
OPEHU EXPRESS (5) - fav- began awkwardly fro a stride then was jostled and tightened between runners losing some ground as they raced in to the bend ran wide nearing the home turn when improving effort told in the run to the line.
PRETTIEST EYES (7) - attempted to angle across from the jump where soon after she pushed back outwards racing widest in to the bend losing some ground.
Race 5 THE ROCK 95.2FM C2 - C2 - 305 BUTTERBALL (2) - fav- settled handy drifted off the rail a couple of places racing around the bend in to the home straight costing her some ground.
SECRET BABE (3) - dwelt slightly settled back made contact with hindquarters of runner to her outer in to the bend once clear attempted to make ground finishing midfield at the line and was knocked over falling heavily at the lure and referred to the vet and was found to have a compound fracture of left radius & ulna which was stabilised and wrapped in a padded cast with pain relief administered.
BIGTIME KYLIE (7) - began awkwardly and was unbalanced for a stride or so coming off the mats.
BIG TIME RUSTY (8) - forced to race widest in to and around the bend to the line covering extra ground in the running.
Race 6 QUALITY INN COLLEGIATE WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305 RETAIL MAYHEM (1) - hampered for a couple of strides in the run to the bend when angling to get clear room to improve improved around the outer of the leader to challenge nearing the home turn where she angled inwards contacting this runner for a stride or so soon after came together again with runner to her inner and jostled to the line.
NIPPA-A-SPOT (3) - was pushed and jostled soon after the start in to the bend and was hampered for some strides when catching heels losing moment and some ground.
MAHALA BAY (4) - out well settled in the lead challenged on his outer for the lead nearing the home turn and was bumped as runner angled in on to his shoulder and came together with this runner both jostling in the run to the line.
DREAM ON DREAMER (5) - racing wide to the bend when contacted in the hindquarters pushed wider losing all chance thereafter.
THREE AMIGOS (7) - dwelt settled back angled down to the rail racing in to the bend made some ground in the run to the line struck the lure on pulling up and was referred to the vet and was found to have a laceration to the briskit at the back of the throat.
NO MUG (8) - racing between runners in to the bend when contacted in the hindquarters and checked going extremely wide losing moment and all chance thereafter in to the bend finishing in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
Race 7 LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 305 DYNA BRYLEIGH (2) - bumped and jostled for some strides in the run to the bend
BIGTIME BOY (3) - began very awkwardly settled last by 5 or more lengths and was unable to get in to contention thereafter.
BIGTIME JAMIE (8) - went up with the lids settled back improved wide around runners in to the bend finishing in the midfield at the line.
Race 8 BRIAN MARTIN COMMENTATING HERE 6TH DECEMBER C1 - C1 - 520 ZIPPING ROMEO (2) - slowest away improved between runners in to the first turn steadily made ground thereafter.
BEES AND BIRDS (5) - fav- contact soon after the start and jostled for some strides and checked in the run to the first turn settled back drifted in to the far bend finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet was found to have cramped and recovered soon after.
BIG TIME DYNASTY (9/3) - kennel rep when questioned regarding change of form today said that the dog has been freshened since her last start on the 11-9-2019 .
Race 9 DASH FOR CASH HEATS 29TH NOVEMBER C2 - C2 - 305 MITSUTA was a late scratching ( refer judicial )
DARK SYRAH (2) - ran outwards from the start to the lead and was never headed.
NUCLEAR JEWEL (3) - hampered for some strides in the run to the bend as runner angled across and was jostled and tightened then checked losing momentum and several lengths back to last in the running and was unable to improve thereafter.
SCOOBASI (8) - slow away angled across on to and jostling with runner on the inner for some strides in the run to the bend then crossed to the rail checking runner to his inner and was unable to make ground thereafter.
Race 10 FIRST SECURITY C1/2 - C1/2 - 520 ALLEN MACK (4) - fav- only fairly away settle back made ground steadily thereafter to finish best in the run to the line.
LUCKY JAMES (8) - raced wide from the jump became unbalanced for a couple of strides in the run around the first turn racing extremely wide in to the back straight and covered a fair amount of extra ground in the running finishing in the rear at the line was referred to the vet and was found to have pain right hind gracilis & quadriceps.
Race 11 PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305 XANTHE JEWEL (2) - dwelt at the jump settled midfield hampered for a stride or so racing in to the bend.
SLICK AS JEWELS (4) - moved outwards in to the bend and was pressured inwards then was abruptly checked as runner cut in across her line and she lost all chance thereafter.
BIG TIME RICKY (5) - bumped and jostled soon after the start caused himself to be checked in to the bend when attempting to angle inwards then cut in across the face of SLICK AS JEWELS .
ELOUERA MIST (6) - bumped hard and unbalanced for a couple of strides in the run to the bend losing momentum and ground.
BIGTIME RONNIE (7) - ran inwards from the jump causing tightening and jostling between runners to his inner soon after he ran inwards bumping hard in to ELOURA MIST and became unbalanced losing momentum and ground racing in to the bend and was unable to get back in to contention.
HOMEBUSH MAXI (9/8) - jumped well was always in contention- kennel rep when questioned about the change of form told the Stewards that a clear uninterrupted run in the running today made all the difference.
Race 12 WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 305 EPIC SPARK (3) - soon after the start was bumped and jostled for some strides then gained clear ground and was contacted and pushed sideways for a stride or so in to the bend losing a couple of lengths.
BIGTIME CLAWS (4) - went up with the lids last in to strides hampered for some strides when tightened racing to the bend was unable to get in to contention thereafter.
SEFTON BREW (5) - tightened and checked back in the run to the bend was able to get down to the rail around the top bend making ground to the line.
HOMEBUSH SHEA (6) - severely hampered racing in to the bend when tightened and jostled between runners losing momentum and ground when checked back finishing in the midfield at the line.
EUPHAMISTIC (7) - angled across in behind runners soon after the start tightening in on to and jostling with BIGTIME CLAWS for some strides in to the bend ran outwards and was unable to make ground thereafter.
SEDGEBROOK SAINT (8) - only fairly away attempted to angle across in to the bend severely tightening runner to his inner for several strides causing himself to lose some momentum and ground was unable to get in to contention thereafter.
Race 13 SPION ROSE HEATS NOV 29TH C1 - C1 - 305 RISING HAWKE (2) - ran outwards sharply from the jump checking BLACK WIDOW BABY to his outer settled midfield tightened in to the bend losing some ground and momentum was unable make ground past midfield in the run to the line and was referred to the vet with a spike wound to the near hind .
BLACK WIDOW BABY (3) - was checked on jumping away from the start settled back hampered for a couple of strides and checked racing in to the bend was unable to make ground thereafter.
CLANSMAN DOUGLAS (6) - soon after the start was dictated across then checked losing ground racing in to the bend was unable to get back in to contention.
BIGTIME KIOWA (7) - dwelt and was slow away angled inwards across the line of CLANSMAN DOUGLAS racing in to the bend was contacted in the hindquarters soon after the on the top bend came back off heels losing ground back to the rear was then checked and forced to check out over heels then angled back inwards on the point of the home turn contacting the rail finishing in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
