Judicial report: 1) Trainer P Blanche has advised that HOMEBUSH SHEA (race 14 #1) has been retired.

2) TARANAKI BRIE (C Brider) race 12 #7 was a late scratching at kenneling when found to be in season.

3) ALAMEIN STRYDA (Kettlewell/Phillips) race 15 #2 was a late scratching at kenneling on vets advice.

Raced wide throughout. BOOT CAMP TIARA (4) - tightened entering the bend, in turn tightened ISAAC MARJEN. ALAMEIN PUDLY (5) - bumped at the start. Tightened BOOT CAMP TIARA entering the bend. SEDGEBROOK COMET (6) - moved up the track shortly after the start and wide through the back straight. WIFI WILBUR (7) - slow away.
Race 3	First Security C1 Sprint - C1q - 305 Heat 1	BIGTIME MIKE (3) - squeezed LUCKY SCAR nearing the bend. LUCKY SCAR (4) - brushed AUROS ADVANTAGE at the start. Squeezed between runners nearing the bend, becoming unbalanced and checking OHANA LAD entering the bend. Coursed wide through the bend impeding OHANA LAD. IDOL MEGHAN (6) - began awkwardly. Raced wide at various stages throughout the event. OHANA LAD (8) - checked entering the bend, then impeded shortly after, losing ground as a result. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. AUROS ADVANTAGE (9/5) - brushed LUCKY SCAR at the start. Squeezed LUCKY SCAR nearing the bend.
Race 4	Guthrie Bowron Wanganui C1 Sprint - C1q - 305 Heat 2	NAHARIS (1) - tightened entering the bend. IDOL ZIGGY (3) - bumped SEDGEBROOK MINI shortly after the start. Contacted ALWAYS DIZZY and SHREWDY (from behind) entering the bend, then impeded by fallen runners. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed left lattismus dorsi muscle injury. BIGTIME FRED (4) - tightened NAHARIS entering the bend. SEDGEBROOK MINI (5) - bumped shortly after the start. Awkwardly placed behind fallen runners entering the bend, in turn becoming tangled with fallen runners and falling herself. Did not complete the event, with a post race veterinary examination being carried out which revealed fracture of right distal humerus with the veterinarian humanely euthanizing this runner. SHREWDY (6) - up 2.4kg on its previous weight, outside 28 days. Checked from behind entering the bend, becoming unbalanced and checking JUDGE ME JACKIE, then fell. Regained his feet and completed the event. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. JUDGE ME JACKIE (7) - checked and fell entering the bend, regained her feet and completed the event with a post race veterinary examination revealing left triceps muscle bruising.
Race 5	Accell Leading The Way In Canine Therapy C1 - C1 - 520	OPAWA LARA (1) - brushed YOUNG DUMB BROKE entering the home straight. YOUNG DUMB BROKE (3) - tightened entering the first bend, needing to check off heels to gain clear room. Wide early in the back straight. Brushed OPAWA LARA entering the home straight. BIG TIME AMBER (7) - tightened YOUNG DUMB BROKE entering the first bend. FEAR THE FUR (8) - slow away.
Race 6	Wanganui Toyota C1 Sprint - C1q - 305 Heat 3	RAINING SIXES (1) - began very quickly, and moved up the track to race wide through the back straight. Coursed wide through the home straight. SMALLTIME JOHNNY (2) - tightened entering the bend. ZARA DAIKEN (4) - tightened SMALLTIME JOHNNY entering the bend. HERE'S HEMI (6) - bumped FREE THINKER at the start.
