Track: Good After rain previous to the meeting the track was presented in a good racing order being well maintained throughout . All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil.

Judicial report: SPECIAL REPORT:

• This meeting was closed to public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols.

SUPPLEMENTARY:

1) Palmerston North GRC 12 May, 2020: the Minor Infringement Notice for trainer A Turnwald's weight infringement (BOYS GET PAID up 1.6kg from it's previous race start) which was not admitted and referred to the JCA found in favour of the RIU and fined Ms Turnwald the sum of $100.00.

JUDICIAL:

1) Following race 7 and after conferring with the Starter, trainer S Maher was advised that BILL'S BARKER would be removed from the boxed first list and monitored in it's future races.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 410	BIG TIME ROXY (2) - fav- stood in the boxes when the lids lifted missing the start by 5 lengths made some ground and was checked when catching heels across the top bend ran widest in to the home straight made some ground to the line. ALLEGRO TAMMY (3) - hampered for a couple of strides and went back a couple of lengths racing in to the bend. WIFI WILBUR (4) - hampered for some strides when tightened and jostled between runners for some strides racing in to the bend WIT AND WISDOM (7) - forced to check wide over heels in to the bend racing wide to the home turn. RICH LISTER (8) - dwelt and was slow in to stride angled across in to the bend checking runner to his inner only battled thereafter.
Race 2	Greyhounds As Pets C1/C2 - C1/2 - 410	BIGTIME CHRIS (1) - only away fair settled back ran on to heels and checked in to the bend losing momentum and ground made some ground in the run to the line. MILLIE PRINCE (3) - raced handy to the bend when tightened and jostled going back a length or so ran widest in to the home straight to the line. BIG TIME BENNY (5) - soon after the start was tightened and jostled between runners then checked back racing in to the bend stumbled for a stride after striking heels was unable to make ground thereafter. BIG TIME ODETTE (6) - attempted to angle across racing to the bend causing tightening jostling to several runners for some strides. PUNCH ON RUBY (10/2) - away well handy on the inner when tightened and went back racing in to the bend was unable to make ground thereafter.
Race 3	Affordable Pet Accesories C1/C2 - C1/2 - 410	MOTHER'S TOUCH (1) - handy in the run to the bend where she was tightened and checked losing her position in the run across the top bend was unable to improve thereafter. OPAL NORA (2) - handy in the early run towards the bend when tightened jostled and checked back from between runners losing momentum and ground was unable to get back in to contention. ALLEGRO KYLE (3) - tightened and checked back racing from the start hampered for a couple of strides in to the bend making contact with the rail was able to improve when in clear racing room on to the top bend a veterinary examination found no abnormalities. BIGTIME DIESEL (5) - handy in the early rush then dictated inwards and tightened on to heels checking going back on following runners towards the rear was unable to improve thereafter.
Race 4	Creative Catering C3 - C3 - 410	DOUBLE WHAT (3) - began awkwardly for a stride or so settled back was jostled for some strides in the run across the top bend unable to make ground thereafter. BIG TIME ANGEL (4) - tightened between runners racing in to the bend and for some strides in the run across the top bend unable to make ground to the line. BIG TIME SPOT (5) - jostled in the run to the bend was then contacted in the hindquarters settled midfield unable to improve to the line. BIG TIME VINCE (6) - fav- away fair jostled soon after uncomfortable in his galloping action in to the bend and to the line finishing towards the rear a veterinary examination found no abnormalities. BIGTIME BANJO (7) - angled across soon after the start came together and jostled with BIG TIME VINCE for a couple of strides. BIGTIME DAISY (8) - slow away unbalanced for a stride or so wide in to the bend was then obliged to check out over heels running extremely wide on to the top bend made good ground to the line.
Race 5	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C4 - C4 - 410	BIGTIME STELLA was a late scratching at pre -kenneling. BEES AND BIRDS (2) - angled outwards in the run to the bend dictating the GIRAFFE CLUB wide in to the bend. BIGTIME ZIGGY (4) - first into stride never headed thereafter when questioned by the Stewards in to form reversal kennel rep reported that had been racing handy in in C5 races and with a drop in class today was the difference. TOCA MADERA (7) - began very awkwardly and was slow in to stride settled back made ground between runners to the home turn was hampered for a couple of strides on straightening BIG TIME FROSTY (8) - settled back unable to gain a run in to the field coming back off heels on the top bend.
Race 6	Paul Claridge Electrical C4/C5 - C4/5 - 410	FUNKY FACTS (2) - began fair then angled outwards as her racing normal style racing wide thereafter finishing back of midfield at the line. ALLEGRO CURTIS (5) - went up with the lids was quickly in to stride sat outside the leader finished best in the run to the line. BIG TIME PLUTO (6) - angled outwards soon after the start bumping in to BIG TIME FAIRY and went back raced wide in to and across the top bend made good ground to the line. BIG TIME FAIRY (8) - bumped and jostled soon after the start settled midfield was unable to make ground thereafter.
Race 7	Doug Bradley Painters C1 - C1 - 457	WAITOHI (4) - settled back unable to get in to contention thereafter finishing in the rear at the line. WEBBER COME (5) - caught between runners soon after the start tightened and checked back in to the bend settled midfield weakened in the run to the line. BILL'S BARKER (6) - angled across in to the bend coming together with WEBBER COME both dogs losing momentum and some ground. RACE ME HOME (9/3) - bumped and jostled and checked back from between runners racing to the bend made ground back in to the midfield in the run to the line.
Race 8	Kernow Construction C1/C2 - C1/2 - 457	DOUBLE THAT (1) - handy in the early run to the bend when crossed by BIG TIME TRAE and checked catching heels going back several lengths checked again on the top bend losing more ground made good ground late in the run to the line. KAMADA PARK (2) - slow away soon after was hampered for some strides when avoiding heels angled out widest in to the bend angled inwards soon after unable to make ground to the line. HOT PLATTER (3) - tightened and went back a couple of lengths in the run in to the bend held up for some strides across the top bend made ground to the line. BIG TIME FRANKIE (4) - angled across towards the bend and was soon after tightened and jostled for a few strides losing momentum for a couple of strides improved along the inner across the top bend could not make ground in the run to the line. EYE KNO (7) - hampered for a few strides when dictated outwards in the run to the bend settled back unable to make ground thereafter. MEANDERING (8) - crowded between runners for some strides racing to the turn and was tightened back in to the home straight finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C3 - C3 - 457	GAZZA'S GIRL (1) - began well soon came back and angled outs running in to BIG LEAGUE DIVA checking back to the rear raced wide thereafter as per her usual style covering a fair amount of extra ground in the running finishing towards the rear at the line. WOMAN NO CRY (5) - went up with the lids settled in to the body of the field unable to improve further to the line. BIG LEAGUE DIVA (6) - began awkwardly unbalanced racing off the mats for a stride or so improved towards the back of the field and was bumped and pushed outwards as GAZZA'S GIRL angled outwards attempted to make ground around the bend to the home straight unable to make ground in the run to the line. TUFF KNIGHT (7) - held up for a couple of strides in the run on to the top bend when attempting to clear heels.
Race 10	Steve 'The Auctioneer Davis' C4 - C4 - 457	BIGTIME LEVI (1) - away well handy when tightened and checked going back off heels in to the bend being jostled as he went back and was unable to get back in to contention there fater. DIDDILEE (2) - led out hampered when jostled in to the bend as BIGTIME ARCHIE attempted to angle across led in to the straight weakened slightly in the run to the line. BIG TIME CHAD (3) - dwelt for a stride held up in to the bend when attempting to clear heels was able to gain clear racing room across the top bend made good ground in the latter stages to the line. BIG TIME HARLEY (4) - fav- racing handy towards the bend forced his way across to the rail checking runners in behind. CHEESEBALL (5) - racing to the bend was crowded between runners severely tightened and checked racing in to the bend losing momentum and ground was unable to improve thereafter. BIGTIME BRET (7) - racing in to the bend was caught between runners being tightened and checked losing momentum and ground was unable to improve thereafter. BIG TIME ANTON (8) - racing in to the bend attempted to angle inwards coming together with BIGTIME BRET and becoming unbalanced for some strides losing several lengths finishing in the midfield at the line. BIGTIME ARCHIE (9/6) - jumped away well arced handy and angled inwards in to the bend tightening in on to DIDDILEE hampering this runner for several strides.
Race 11	PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C4/C5 - C4/5 - 457	ALL ABOUT SPACE (4) - settled back was unable to improve to the line. BIG TIME VEGAS (6) - checked racing from the start clipped from behind and unbalanced racing in to the bend contact in the hindquarters by ZIPPING SARAH soon after as BIG TIME VEGAS balanced up moving out in to this runners line racing in to the home straight angled outwards in to the shoulder of ZIPPING SARAH hampering both runners and came together with this runner again a couple of strides on losing some momentum finishing in the midfield at the line. ZIPPING SARAH (8) - fav- first NZ start dwelt at the jump was last in to stride stayed out wide in the run to the bend then when angling inwards ran on to the heels of BIG TIME VEGAS and checked wide a couple of strides on caught the hindquarters of the same runner ZIPPING SARAH raced widest when making ground across the top bend was bumped hard turning in to the home straight as BIGTIME VEGAS came out on to her shoulder and was unbalanced for a stride or so and was then bumped again by this runner losing momentum ran on in the latter stages a veterinary examination found no abnormalities.
Race 12	Total Bodyshop Supplies C1 - C1 - 410	BLACK MAGS (2) - hampered when tightened in to the bend going back on to PARADOX PRINCE who got on to his heels losing momentum and ground was unable to get in to contention thereafter. PARADOX PRINCE (3) - went up with the lids was then checked back from between runners as he got in to stride and was held up for some strides when attempting to clear heels losing momentum and ground going back and wide in to the bend was unable to get in to contention thereafter. BIG TIME LANTAO (4) - angled in to the bend becoming awkwardly placed for a few strides made some ground across the top bend weakening in the latter stages to the line. PLAN STAN (8) - raced widest in to and around the bend in to the home straight making ground to the line.
