Checked off the heels of RAPINOE rounding the bend colliding with IDOL REIGN losing its balance. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. IDOL REIGN (3) - checked prior to the bend when awkwardly positioned to the outside of NICE FOR WHAT. Obligated to check off heels rounding the bend. Heavily contacted from the inside by NICE FOR WHAT. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. THRILLING PEGGY (5) - contacted from the outside by RAPINOE early stages. RAPINOE (6) - collided with THRILLING PEGGY early stages. Hampered slightly entering the bend when racing to the outside of PRIDEFUL.
Race 2	Jo's Wholesale & Sports Bar Taipa Tavern Sprint - C1 - 318	IT'S A STROLL (1) - slow early. Hampered by HARDCORE JET prior to the bend. BIG TIME TATUM (3) - shouldered off HARDCORE JET in the run to the bend. HARDCORE JET (4) - shouldered off BIG TIME TATUM in the run to the bend. Shifted outwards hampering the running line of IT'S A STROLL prior to the bend. KAPAI STEWIE (5) - hampered by HARDCORE JET prior to the bend. SIR KINLOCH (6) - became awkward in its gait entering the bend losing ground with the field. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a torn gracilis. Reported to be retired from racing. SMASH OUT (7) - proved difficult to box. Stewards will monitor the boxing of this greyhound its upcoming starts.
Race 3	MPS Fencing Sprint - C2 - 318	MOBILITY SCOOTER (2) - placed in restricted room entering the bend making contact with the running rail losing ground. Lost further ground when jostling with HILLBILLY BREWED shortly afterwards. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was found to have right pectoral and right hip soreness. STAY RICH (3) - raced wide in the run to the bend. HILLBILLY BREWED (4) - hampered early stages before being placed in tight quarters. Awkwardly placed to the outside of MOBILITY SCOOTER entering the bend losing ground lost further ground when hampered shortly afterwards. Referred to the Vet where it was found to have a sore left calf and wrist. BLACK WIDOW BABY (6) - shifted inward early stages impeding the running line of OPAWA DONAL. OPAWA DONAL (9/5) - placed in restricted room early stages having to check outwards off heels. Ran wide in the run to the bend thereafter.
Race 4	Sportsbowl Function Centre Sprint - C0 - 318	HOW'S THE ENEMY (1) - slow early stages. Placed in restricted room entering the bend making contact with the running rail. Veterinary examination revealed lameness behind the dogs shoulder blade along with soreness to it's right hamstring and pectineus MY BRO JET (2) - jostled with LOUDRED prior to the bend. Checked off heels rounding the bend. Jostled with LOUDRED in the run to the finish. LOUDRED (3) - jostled with MY BRO JET prior to bend. Checked entering the bend when placed in restricted room. Jostled with MY BRO JET in the run to the finish. YOU'RE GORGEOUS (4) - lost momentum in the run to the bend when awkwardly positioned to the inside of SADOWSKI. RICCITELLI (6) - checked when positioned to the outside of LOUDRED entering the bend losing ground. HARDCORE BRUTE (7) - shifted down the track entering the bend losing ground after becoming awkwardly placed to the outside of YOU'RE GORGEOUS.
Race 5	Pump & Engineering Services Ltd Stakes - C1 - 527	ELECTRIC SHOCK (1) - jostled with MY BRO BOBBY early stages placing this runner in restricted room. MY BRO BOBBY (2) - squeezed for racing room early stages. JUST MADDIE (3) - slow early. Wide first bend. ASCOTT (4) - jostled with MY BRO BOBBY early stages placing this runner in restricted room. Raced on the shoulder of THEA WHO rounding the first bend. THEA WHO (7) - raced on the hind quarters of EL NARCO in the run to the first bend. Raced on the shoulder of ASCOTT rounding the first bend. EL NARCO (8) - hind quarters contacted from the inside by THEA WHO in the run to the first bend.
Race 6	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Sprint - C1 - 318	SMALL PAIGE (1) - checked off the heels of PILSKOVA when placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground as a consequence. PARTY EVERY DAY (5) - hampered by the checked SMALL PAIGE rounding the bend. GET ME HOME (6) - hampered and obligated to race wide rounding the bend. PLISKOVA (8) - placed SMALL PAIGE in restricted room entering the bend.
Race 7	Terminating Pick6 Stakes - C2 - 527	BOYKA (2) - obligated to check off heels entering the first bend. Again checked off heels entering the final bend. HAPPY MEDIUM (6) - shifted down the track in the run to the line bumping with SPRING MACHANIC. SPRING MECHANIC (7) - bumped for the outside by HAPPY MEDIUM in the run to the line.
Race 8	Carol's TAB Taipa Tavern Stakes - C1 - 527	MEDUSA WHO (2) - jostled with REACT RESPOND exiting the final bend. LITTLE APPLE (3) - jostled briefly with BIG TIME DYNASTY early stages. BIG TIME DYNASTY (4) - jostled briefly with LITTLE APPLE early stages. REACT RESPOND (8) - jostled with MEDUSA WHO exiting the final bend.
Race 9	Hewlett Electrical Sprint - C3/4 - 318	EXPRESS EMPORIUM (2) - shifted up the track through the run to the bend colliding with MANILA BALA. Wide exiting the bend and through the run home. MANILA BALA (4) - contacted from the inside by EXPRESS EMPORIUM early stages. Placed in restricted room rounding the bend losing momentum.
Race 10	Mt Wellington TAB Stakes - C3/4 - 527	SAKICHI (1) - referred to the Veterinarian after it was found to have a spike wound it its left dorsal paw. OPAWA MAGIC (2) - checked outwards off heels approaching the bend shifting up the track and dictating OPAWA DELIGHT wide. OPAWA DELIGHT (7) - dictated up the track first bend. KAI NAN (8) - awkwardly positioned on heels rounding the first bend.
Race 11	Qualified Pet Services Sprint - C5 - 318	THRILLING HUDSON (4) - placed in restricted room rounding the bend making contact for a period with the running rail. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. THANK YOU NEXT (6) - raced in tight quarters entering the bend. MISS CLAUDE (7) - raced in restricted room early stages. Again raced in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. KIWI BOY (8) - jostled with MISS CLAUDE entering the bend.
Race 12	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C3 - 318	BIGTIME STELLA - was a late scratching on Veterinarian advice after presenting dehydrated and weighing in 2.6kgs under it's last race weight. OUR HOTROD (1) - shouldered for a stride with RELEVANCE in the run to the bend. Placed in tight quarters rounding the bend and was unable to improve. RELEVANCE (2) - shouldered for a stride with OUR HOTROD in the run to the bend. GREY WAY (4) - had to check when placed on heels entering the bend. BIGTIME BREMNER (7) - contacted from the outside by PORTLAND ART. PORTLAND ART (8) - bumped with BIGTIME BREMNER entering the bend.
