Weather: Overcast
Track: Good After heavy rain leading up to the meeting the track was presented in a very good racing condition being well maintained throughout. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights

This meeting was run under Level 2 Government restrictions and Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid-19 protocols.

1- DIG DIG DIG #1 race 5 ( S O'Neill ) was scratched due to transport difficulties ).

2- J McInerney kennels presented HOMEBUSH CAPTAIN # 5 race 2 down 1.6 kgs from his last race start on the 28-7-2020 with an information filed under rule ( 45.11 ) to the JCA for consideration.

3- ZIPPING RUSSELL ( A Turnwald ) completed a satisfactory trail and is now cleared to be nominated.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Tuesday C1 - C1 - 410	OPAWA DAWN (3) - fav- dwelt slightly at the jump improved to settle handy in the trail weakened in the latter stages to the line. MISS COWDREY (5) - dwelt at the jump jostled between runners for some strides racing in to the bend was forced to abruptly check out over heels bumping with SUMMER GLEE and these runners continued to bump and jostled for some distance in to the home straight and finished well back at the line a veterinary examination found no injuries. SUMMER GLEE (7) - contact racing from the start angled across in to the bend contacting MISS COWDREY was then severely hampered as MISS COWDREY checked outwards abruptly forcing her extremely wide on to the top bend and bumped and jostled with this runner for some distance in to the home straight and finished well back at the line a veterinary examination found no injuries. SLAM IT (8) - bumped and jostled with runners in the run to the bend then angled inwards across the face of MISS COWDREY then made good ground around runners to the line.
Race 2	Total Bodyshop Supplies C1 - C1 - 410	ARM TURNER (1) - improving on the outer with DYNA BRYLEIGH turning in when unbalanced for a stride or so losing some momentum and a couple of lengths was unable to make ground thereafter to the line. DYNA BRYLEIGH (2) - improving along the inner turning in when jostling with ARM TURNER for a couple of strides. HOMEBUSH CAPTAIN (5) - lost ground in to the bend and was unable to improve to the line a veterinary examination found no injuries. BIG TIME MAY (7) - forced to race widest in to and around the bend was bumped on the top bend as BIG TIME JEWEL came out off heels continued to make ground around runners to the line. BIG TIME JEWEL (8) - fav- began awkwardly was slow into stride improved in to the body of the field in to the bend soon after checked off heels and bumped with BIG TIME MAY to her outer losing some momentum was unable to make ground to the line.
Race 3	PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C1/C2 - C1/2 - 410	BORN FAB (2) - racing from the start attempted to angle outwards between runners causing interference to himself and other runners for a few strides settled handy across the top bend making ground in the latter stages to the line. BIG TIME CLARE (4) - soon after the start was forced outwards
Race 4	Greyhound As Pets C1/C2 - C1/2 - 410	BOOT CAMP TIARA (2) - racing from the start was bumped and jostled for some distance severely tightened and came back off heels in to the bend finishing towards the rear at the line BIGTIME KATE (3) - soon after the start was checked back from between runners losing momentum back to the rear improved in to the bend and was bumped and jostled again once clear made some ground to the line. BIG TIME SPOT (4) - crowded and pushed sideways entering the bend was able to keep her ground improved around the leaders on the home turn to the line. BIG TIME BEAT (5) - severely crowded and checked back in to the bend checked again soon after and finished in the rear at the line a veterinary examination found no injuries. BIG TIME DAWSON (6) - severely crowded and checked and unbalanced racing in to the bend losing momentum and ground finishing in the back of midfield at the line. BIG TIME SMILE (7) - crowded between runners and jostled then checked into the bend losing ground running wide checked again racing on to the top bend finishing in the midfield at the line. BARBAROSSA BOY (8) - angled across towards the bend severely tightening in on to and causing interference to several runners to his inner in to the bend.
Race 5	Kernow Construction Distance Feature - C2d - 660	RACE ME HOME (8) - settled back made good ground in the latter stages to the line.
Race 6	Affordable Pet Accesories C1 - C1 - 457	GAZZA'S GIRL (3) - checked herself in the early running as she attempted to angle out across heels clipping heels and losing momentum back to the rear then raced wide thereafter making good ground in to the midfield at the line. TAKAKAWE (4) - angled outwards from the jump and was bumped settled midfield into the bend weakened in to the run to the line. BIG TIME FRANKIE (7) - went up with the lids and was slow into stride angled inwards across heels in to the bend made some ground along the inner to the home turn weakened in the latter stages to the line. WHITE COMET (9/5) - began awkwardly for a stride settled back was unable to get in to contention thereafter.
Race 7	J P Print, Petone C2/C3 - C2/3 - 457	BIGTIME ALFIE (1) - angled outwards from the jump settled in the trail to the line. BROKE BRAD (3) - soon after the start was bumped and pushed sideways for a couple of strides then continued to push outwards bumping and jostling with runner to his outer bumped again racing in to the bend racing wide after covering extra ground finished in the midfield at the line. SPRING FOX (4) - racing from the start was severely tightened between runners coming off the mats TUFF MR. TEE (5) - racing from the start was severely tightened and checked coming off the mats losing momentum for a few strides settling back was unable to get in to contention thereafter. FUNKY FACTS (6) - fav- severely tightened and checked racing off the mats losing momentum settling back angled wide in to the bend as his customary racing style checked and unbalanced racing to the top bend faltered racing in to the home straight finishing on to the lure a veterinary examination found to have pain in the right hind hock. BIG TIME TOMMEY (7) - angled sharply across from the jump causing severe tightening to several runners to the inner was then pushed outwards for some strides as BROKE BAD angled outwards bumped and jostled between runners in to the bend angled down to the rail was unable to make ground thereafter to the line. BIG TIME EDEN (8) - dwelt and was last in to stride soon after was bumped and jostled for some strides and forced wide in to the bend was unable to make ground thereafter.
Race 8	PN 2019/20 Greyhound Awards September 12th C3/C4 - C3/4 - 457	SUB TWENTY THREE (1) - soon after the start was tightened and hampered for some strides as ALLEGRO CURTIS angled across on to him checked in to the bend once in clear room made very good ground in to second placing at the line. BIGTIME LEVI (2) - soon after the start was tightened between runners and checked losing momentum as he came back off heels settling in the rear made some ground in the latter stages to the line a veterinary examination found no injuries. ELECTRICAL STORM (5) - settled in the midfield in to the bend was held up for some strides in the run around the bend when unable to clear heels unable to finish on to the line. RAPID FIRE (7) - began awkwardly was then forced to checkout across heels improved but forced to race wide in to and around the bend weakened back in the run to the line.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C5 - C5 - 457	BIGTIME ROD (4) - contact soon after the start checked and lost ground racing in to the bend was unable to make ground thereafter a veterinary examination found no injuries.
Race 10	Paul Claridge Electrical C4/C5 - C4/5 - 410	BIGTIME PEARL (5) - handy in to the bend hampered as CHEESE AND CHALK crossed and lost ground was unable to improve to the line. BIG TIME AMIE (6) - bumped soon after the start checked and ran out across heels in to the bend racing wide thereafter. CHEESE AND CHALK (8) - began awkwardly but was quickly in to stride settled handy was unable to sustain the run to the line.
Race 11	Doug Bradley Painters C4 - C4 - 410	BIG TIME FROSTY (1) - fav- dwelt slightly wasn't quick in to stride tightened and crowded in to the bend losing momentum and ground battled to the line. PICK A PASCAL (4) - hampered for some strides in the run to the bed when bumped and jostled as BAVARO attempted to angle across once in clear room made good ground to the line. BAVARO (5) - attempted to angle across in to the bend bumping with PICK A PASCAL and went back jostling with BIG TIME BILLIE and was unable to get in to contention thereafter. BIG TIME BILLIE (7) - angled across soon after the start jostled between runners for a stride or so into the bend bumped and jostled again soon after losing momentum and ground back to the rear and finished in the rear at the line a veterinary examination found no injuries. BIG TIME LEBRON (8) - raced widest in to and around the bend covering a fair amount of extra ground in the running.
Race 12	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C3 - C3 - 410	DOUBLE WHAT (1) - racing handy in to the bend when being bumped by BIG TIME FUZZ as this runner balanced up and was able to keep his handy position in the running to the line. BIGTIME BANJO (2) - soon after the start came together with BIG TIME FUZZ and jostled for a couple of strides before clearing this runner in to the bend to lead thereafter. LITTLE SCAMP (3) - settled midfield hampered when clipped from behind in to the bend unable to get in to contention thereafter. BIG TIME FUZZ (4) - fav- racing towards the bend came together with BIGTIME BANJO was then hampered further as GIRAFFE CLUB angled across tightening in on to the inside runners for several strides BIG TIME FUZZ was pushed sideways for a stride or so in to the bend and bumped with DOUBLE WHAT as he balanced up losing more ground ran on well to the line. IDOL ZIGGY (5) - ran on to heels and checked losing momentum racing in to the bend drifted out across heels in to the home straight then changed ground back inwards to the rail finishing in the midfield at the line. MOTHER'S TOUCH (6) - bumped with BIG TIME HAZEL racing from the start angled outwards and raced wide making ground around runners handy on the home turn but extremely wide finishing in to 4th placing at the line. BIG TIME HAZEL (7) - bumped at the start dictated outwards to the bend ran widest in to the bend angled inwards nearing the home turn could not make ground to the line. GIRAFFE CLUB (8) - away well angled across towards the bend tightening in on to BIG TIME FUZZ pushing this runner sideways in to the bend went back catching this runners heels and checking
