Judicial report: SPECIAL REPORT:

This meeting was run under Level 2 Government restrictions and Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid-19 protocols.

SUPPLEMENTARY:

Wanganui GRC 16 September 2020, co-trainer G Fredrickson has advised Stewards that WIFI ROBYN (race 7 #3) is free of injury.

JUDICIAL:

1- After heavy overnight and persistent rain throughout the morning the Stewards and a delegation of Trainers and Track curator inspected the track late morning and agreed on a course of action that was carried out by the Track curator.
After work carried out by the Track Curator he was able to present a much improved track for racing.

2- KONGS OUT AGAIN # 1 race 7 late scratched to coming in to season.

3- ZIPPING RUSSELL (race 9 #8) charged pursuant with Rule 55.1(a), Marring, and stood down for 3 months (second offence) and to the completion of a satisfactory trial.

4- QUINCY BALE (race 9 #5) charged pursuant with Rule 55.1(a), Marring, and stood down for 28 days (first offence) and to the completion of a satisfactory trial.

5- Race finish photos for races 5-8 were not available to be downloaded until they are received in the next day or so.

Race 1	FIRST SECURITY C3 - C3 - 305	BIG TIME DAWSON (2) - angled outwards soon after the start coming together with YARN SISTER bumping and jostling for some strides. Cleared this runner in to the bend to finish on best to the line. ALLEGRO KYLE (3) - checked soon after the start when crowded back on to heels. When in clear room improved in the run around the top bend. YARN SISTER (5) - attempted to angle across soon after the start coming together with BIG TIME DAWSON and went sideways for some strides losing ground. She was crowded and checked back in to the bend going back to the rear and was unable to improve thereafter. DOOMSDAY (6) - angled across in the run to the bend where he was tightened and crowded between runners losing ground finishing in the midfield at the line. JUSTA GIFT (7) - shouldered on jumping. Checked and dragged down entering the bend losing ground. BIG TIME FUZZ (9/4) - fav- checked soon after the start. Unable to clear heels in to the bend being checked again and was contacted from his inner checking sharply outwards and wide losing all chance from there on in.
Race 2	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	SILENT DISMISSAL (1) - away well soon after was bumped and jostled and severely tightened racing in to the first turn. He lost some ground back past midfield .Was contacted in the run to the far bend made some ground to the line. ELECTRICAL STORM (2) - in the run to the first turn was bumped and jostled then crowded losing ground back towards the rear. Hampered when looking to improve in the run to the home turn when forced wide. BIG TIME ODETTE (3) - away well .Soon after was severely crowded and checked back in to the run to the first turn. Soon after going back she made contact with the rail losing more ground.She made up some good ground thereafter in the running to finish in to 4th placing at the line .She was referred to the vet and was cleared of injury.
Race 3	Uhlenberg Haulage Wanganui Stayers (Group 2) Heats - C2dq - 755 Heat 1	EMGRAND ROSE (1) - led in to the bend on the first occasion .Clear leader for some distance effort told in the run to the line. FEAR THE FUR (3) - settled back. Was unable to get in to contention thereafter. LONGSHANKS (6) - raced wide in to the bend and around on the first occasion. He raced wide thereafter finishing towards the rear at the line. BUDDY LOADED (7) - hampered when jostled by BIGTIME CHOLE in to the bend on the first occasion. settled handy was unable to finish on. BIGTIME CHLOE (8) - away best.Angled across in to the first bend contacting BUDDY LOADED for a couple of strides coming back off him settling back.Made very good ground to the line in the latter stages.
Race 4	Uhlenberg Haulage Wanganui Stayers (Group 2) Heats - C2dq - 755 Heat 2	DIG DIG DIG (1) - away best in the initial running. Settled in the midfield. Checked in to the midfield when weakening back towards the rear. Was unable to improve to the line. BLACK STOCKINGS (2) - crowded and checked in to the first bend. Settled back. Awkwardly placed for a stride or so racing in to the home straight on the first occasion.Came out over heels in to the turn out of the home straight and was widest in to the back straight.made good ground to the line in the latter stages. GOLDSTAR DARWIN (4) - settled handy. Finished best in the run to the line. NOVA WILLOW (5) - worked her way to the lead in to the first bend. Clear leader being run down late in the latter stages in to 5th placing at the line. KAMADA PARK (7) - hampered and was awkwardly placed in to the first bend. Was contacted and lost some ground soon after. Settled in behind the pace was unable to quicken to the line. RACE ME HOME (8) - forded to race widest in to the first bend becoming unbalanced and losing some ground. Settled in the rear . Angled across the face of DIG DIG DIG racing in to the far bend made good very good ground late to the line.
Race 5	Uhlenberg Haulage Wanganui Stayers (Group 2) Heats - C2dq - 755 Heat 3	SHAYNEE (1) - jumped away awkwardly. Soon led drifted out in to the home straight on the first occasion allowing runners up on her inner. Dictated outwards in the run in to the turn out of the home straight and lost some momentum and ground.Dictated wide in to the back straight and back in to the rear. She then angled down towards the rail and was a fair way of the leader at this point. She quickly improved along the inner around the bend to the home straight where was forced to change ground to improve between runners and then ducked across to the rail to finish very strongly to the line. ZIPPING BOSTON (2) - slow away. Improved up along the inner to lead in to the home straight on the first occasion. Clear leader to the home turn and was run down in the latter stages to the line. HOT PLATTER (4) - settled handy from the jump. Finished on strongly to the line. GOLDSTAR SYDNEY (8) - forced to race widest in to the bend on the first occasion. Was jostled between runners in the run around the turn to the back straight. Was unable to make ground to the line
Race 6	Dairymaster Wanganui Cup (Group 1) Ht1 - C5q - 520 Heat 1	MISS POTENTIAL (1) - Led in to the first turn and was never headed. BIGTIME ROD (3) - was bumped and jostled for some strides in the run to the first turn. Was crowded and lost ground racing around the first turn. Settled midfield was unable to make ground to the line. UTHOR BALE (4) - dwelt and was slow in to stride. Soon after clipped heels and stumbled slightly for a stride. ran out off heels racing in to the first turn and soon after was jostled when improving between runners. made good ground thereafter to the line. BIG TIME JIMMY (5) - bumped soon after the start. Then he attempted to angle across bumping and jostling with BIGTIME ROD for several strides and was crowded and checked racing in to the first turn . He was bumped again soon after losing momentum back to the rear and was unable to make ground thereafter. He was referred to the vet and cleared of injury. BIG TIME HARLEY (7) - ran on to heels and checked racing in to the first turn.Was bumped soon after then was checked when running in to the hindquarters of UTHOR BALE. he settled back and was unable to get back in to contention thereafter. BIGTIME BRUNO (8) - raced widest in to the first turn and in to the back straight. Improved to race handy but wide effort told in the latter stages.
Race 7	Dairymaster Wanganui Cup (Group 1) Ht2 - C5q - 520 Heat 2	KONGS OUT AGAIN was a late scratching due to a seasonal complaint. EMGRAND PARK (2) - came back off heels racing in to the first turn and went back on to BIG TIME KOBE. She lost momentum and ground GOLDSTAR YANKEE (3) - went up with the lids. last in to the first turn made ground on to the top bend where he was checked after running on to heels. He was unable to find clear racing room being held up for some distance finishing in 4th placing at the line. BIG TIME JACKSON (5) - Trailing the leader nearing the home turn when he was contacted and checked. he weakened in the latter stages to the line. BIG TIME KOBE (6) - ran on to heels and almost fell racing around the first turn. Checking outwards losing momentum and ground. He was unable to get back in to contention thereafter. Was referred to the vet and cleared of injury. BIG TIME VEGAS (7) - racing handy in between runners nearing the home turn when checked running out in to OSTER BALE losing momentum and ground. was unable to make ground to the line.Was referred to the vet and was cleared of injury. OSTER BALE (8) - Forced to race widest in to the first turn. he was then clipped from behind but was going well enough to keep improving. He was making very good ground around wider out to challenge nearing the home turn when he was contacted and turned sideways losing momentum for a stride or so. Still ran on to the line.
Race 8	Dairymaster Wanganui Cup (Group 1) Ht3 - C5q - 520 Heat 3	ZIPPING SARAH (1) - severely tightened and checked in to the first turn losing momentum and ground. She was unable to get back in to contention thereafter. HE'S ALL SHINE (4) - dwelt at the jump. Racing to the first turn he angled to the rail across the face of ZIPPING SARAH. Made quick ground in to the turn and was soon checked when running off the heels of LEONARD BALE. he then jostled with BIG TIME SETH for some strides before clearing this runner in to the back straight. Made ground towards the leaders along the back in to the bend. Was unable to finish on in the run to the line. BIG TIME BABY (5) - forced to check wide off heels racing around the first turn. Lost momentum and ground. Steadily made ground thereafter to the line. GOLDSTAR MAUNEY (6) - dwelt at the jump. Forced to race widest to the first turn where he hampered as runner ahead checked outwards. hampered again in to the back straight and was unable to make ground thereafter. BIGTIME BRODY (7) - hampered in to the first turn when checked. Made quick ground wide in to the back straight could not keep up the run finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 9	Dairymaster Wanganui Cup (Group 1) Ht4 - C5q - 520 Heat 4	BIG TIME LANTAO (1) - leading to the home turn and in to the home straight. She was hampered for some strides in the latter stages when being marred. BIG TIME ELSA (3) - racing handy on the home turn when she was severely hampered for some distance when being marred. QUINCY BALE (5) - Settled handy around the turn in to the back straight. Improved along the inner to challenge on the outside of BIG TIME LANTAO marring this runner in the latter stages of the run to the line. He was referred to the vet and was found to have slight pain head of fibula left hind- notwithstanding this minor pain he has been stood down for 28 days 1st offence for marring and to the completion of a satisfactory trial. ZIPPING RUSSELL (8) - forced to race widest in to the first turn. He improved towards the home turn and ran out and marred BIG TIME ELSA some strides in to the home straight. This dog has been stood down for 3 months and until the completion of a satisfactory trail - 2nd marring offence.
Race 10	ACCELL "LEADING THE WAY IN CANINE THERAPY" C3/4 - C3/4 - 520	SIMPLY SMOOTH (2) - crowded and tightened racing in to the first turn. Was held up in the run across the top bend and in to the home straight. BIG TIME AMIE (5) - raced handy but wide around the first turn and along the back straight. Dictated widest across the top bend in to the home straight. Could not make ground to the line. BIG TIME EDEN (6) - dwelt and was slow in to stride.Crowded and came back from between runners racing in to the first turn.
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	BIG TIME BILLIE (2) - awkwardly placed on the inner racing in to the bend. Lost some momentum and ground racing on to the top bend.Finished in the midfield at the line. LIFE IS GOOD (3) - angled outwards racing to the bend.Angled widest in the run on to the top bend losing ground and finished in the rear at the line. EVER RESTED (4) - began awkwardly and stumbled slightly coming off the mats. He settled in the rear running wide to the bend then angled inwards making some ground to the line. BIG TIME CHANCE (5) - settled in the midfield in the run in to the bend. He became unbalanced for a stride or so turning in and finished towards the rear at the line.
Race 12	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C4 - C4 - 305	BIG TIME LEBRON (2) - racing to the bend he was severely tightened and checked losing momentum. He recovered racing wide on to the top bend to make good ground to the line. RUNNING FREER (3) - racing to the bend he was severely tightened and checked losing all chance thereafter. ALLEGRO FERN (5) - in the run to the bend she was severely hampered when being forced across on to other runners as HIP HOP RAPPER pushed across. She lost ground back to the rear and was unable to get back in to contention. SEDGEBROOK SALLY (6) - in the run to the bend she was severely checked as HIP HOP RAPPER forced his was his across her line. She did recover some ground to the line. DINO THE FOX (7) - jumped away well. Headed towards the lead wide in to the bend as per his usual racing style.After covering a fair amount of extra ground in the running did make some ground to the line. HIP HOP RAPPER (9/8) - soon after the start he tried to force his way across.Running in to several runners causing himself to be checked back on a couple of occasions. He lost ground back to the rear and was unable to make ground thereafter.
