OPAWA TRUMP (3) - jostled with KNOW GRIZZLES prior to the bend. ADOBE RUBBLE (4) - heels climbed on entering the bend losing momentum. OPAWA GRAVEL (5) - began awkwardly. EPIC QUEEN (8) - slow to jump.
Race 2	MERVYN EADE MEMORIAL ROOKIE RUN HEATS - C0q - 457 Heat 2	FLAPPABLE (1) - shifted up the track early stages forcing NOVA RAPIDE to course wide and place outside greyhounds in restricted room. KNOW RATIO (3) - awkwardly positioned on heels prior to the bend. OPAWA NEVILLE (4) - placed in tight quarters early stages. OTHELLO ADOBE (5) - placed in tight quarters early stages having to check off heels. BORN TRIXIE (6) - placed in tight quarters early stages.
Race 3	MERVYN EADE MEMORIAL ROOKIE RUN HEATS - C0q - 457 Heat 3	EPIC KNIGHT (1) - slow early. OPAWA STAR (2) - obliged to check off heels entering the bend causing an inconvenience to ADOBE NINJA. ADOBE FLINTSTONE (4) - hampered early stages. MY CURLY (5) - shifted down onto ADOBE FLINSTONE early stages. ADOBE NINJA (6) - checked and lost momentum entering the bend. BORN KATIE (8) - slow early.
Race 4	TONI@BODYAUDITSOUTH PH021657001 - C1 - 457	KNOW KEEPER (1) - contacted from the outside entering the bend. TOBY'S CHOICE (5) - shifted down the track entering the bend colliding with KNOW KEEPER and placing HOMEBUSH CARRA in restricted room. HOMEBUSH CARRA (6) - squeezed for racing room early stages. Again squeezed for racing room entering the bend losing momentum. MISS NINA (7) - squeezed for racing room early stages. BARTHOLOMEW CUB (8) - shifted down the track early stages hampering inside runners and being turned outwards as a consequence. SPEEDY LUCY (9/3) - came up with the lid and was slow to jump.
Race 5	MARK TURNER PAINTER PH021737111 - C1 - 390	SPICE SPICE BABY(6) was a late scratching after being found to be in season at kennelling. PRETTY KEEN (1) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing momentum. SAM AND SI (3) - marred from the inside for the majority of the run home by OUR AMBER. TREV'S ROCKET (4) - hampered entering the bend. AMURI JOSIE (7) - contacted from the outside by OUR AMBER on jumping. Placed in restricted room entering the bend losing momentum. OUR AMBER (8) - collided with AMURI JOSIE on jumping. Shifted to the inside of SAM AND SI entering the home straight before shifting outwards onto this runner making muzzle contact with this runner throughout the run home. Stood down for Marring.
Race 6	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C2 - 390	MIKIL (4) - jostled with HOMEBUSH STASSER early stages. HOMEBUSH STASSER (5) - jostled with MIKIL early stages. OPAWA LAWSEY (8) - began slowly and continued to lose ground with the field. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Performance noted.
Race 7	Paul Conner Memorial Final - C1/3f - 457	DOUBLE SPEED (1) - jostled with AMURI BATMAN prior to entering the bend checking off this runners heels. AMURI BATMAN (2) - jostled with DOUBLE SPEED prior to entering the bend. PEPPER CHIMES (4) - jostled with LONGSHANKS early stages. LONGSHANKS (5) - jostled with PEPPER CHIMES early stages.
Race 8	Oreti Beach Run - C1 - 457	FATHER LEO (3) - squeezed for racing room early stages shifting up the track and colliding with WHITMAN. KNOW SMOKEY (4) - squeezed for racing room early stages. Jostled with HOMEBUSH DREAM prior to the bend. WHITMAN (5) - contacted from the inside early stages becoming awkwardly placed to the hindquarters of AMURI MYSTIC. AMURI MYSTIC (6) - hindquarters raced on early stages. HOMEBUSH DREAM (7) - contacted by JUST STAGGER on jumping. Jostled with KNOW SMOKEY prior to the bend. JUST STAGGER (8) - collided with HOMEBUSH DREAM on jumping. HOMEBUSH BEDE (9/2) - shifted up the track early stages hapering outside greyhounds.
