Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: A power outage during kenneling delayed this process for half an hour or so.
When the power returned with the cooperation of Trainers and handlers kenneling was restarted and the meeting was able to start at the scheduled time.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Tuesday C4/C5 - C4/5 - 457	THRILLING MORRIS (2) - contact in the hindquarters racing off the mats. THRILLING MURPHY (3) - tightened and checked racing from the start.
Race 2	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C4/C5 - C4/5 - 410	BIG TIME KEVIN (3) - soon after the start he was tightened back from between runners to the rear. ALLEGRO WILL (4) - soon after the start was crowded and went back catching heels and stumbling becoming unbalanced for a few strides finishing in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet and cleared of injury. FREE THINKER (6) - raced wide and bumped with BEES AND BIRDS entering the home straight. BEES AND BIRDS (7) - bumped with FREE THINKER entering the home straight. BIG TIME SPOT (8) - led out weakened in the latter stages and was referred to the vet and cleared of injury. SUB TWENTY THREE (9/5) - angled across from the jump and soon after was clipped from behind as ALLEGRO WILL checked out over his heels.
Race 3	Bigtime Paddy at Stud C0 - C0 - 410	XANTHONE (2) - bumped racing off the mats as BIG TIME REBEL ran inwards. BIG TIME REBEL (4) - ran inwards from the jump bumping into XANTHONE. BIG TIME MILO (5) - began awkwardly and was last into stride. ALLEGRO SADE (8) - slight check into the bend then lost ground. Appeared to be uncomfortable in her galloping action for a couple of strides entering the home straight and was referred to the vet and was found to have pain left deltoid muscle.
Race 4	Doug Bradley Painters C1 - C1 - 457	BIGTIME ALFIE (2) - soon after the start was bumped as he attempted to angle outwards. Finished towards the rear at the line and was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the left hind gracilis muscle. GOLDSTAR HADLEE (4) - slow away and settled. Angled outwards and was dictated wide into the bend then angled down to the rail soon after forced to check back off heels. COCKNEY RIP OFF (7) - angled out and raced wide into the bend and was unable to make ground thereafter.
Race 5	Kernow Construction C3 - C3 - 410	ZAMAH (2) - hampered racing into the bend going back a couple of lengths. OPAWA TROY (4) - racing wide across the top bend when forced to check wider off heels. THRILLING PEGGY (5) - fav- dwelt slightly at the jump hampered when improving between runners and checked coming back off heels losing ground racing onto the top bend. OPAWA DAWN (6) - began awkwardly and stumbled for a stride. RETALLICK (7) - slow and awkwardly away coming off the mats. Was unable to get into contention thereafter and was referred to the vet and was found to have pain over left deltoid/triceps muscles.
Race 6	Paul Claridge Electrical C0 - C0 - 457	IDOL ANDY (1) - away well was soon crossed and was jostled becoming unbalanced for a couple of strides losing momentum and ground. Caught heels losing more ground into the bend ran wide into the home straight and was referred to the vet and cleared of injury. SMOKIN' CHIMNEY (6) - angled across soon after the start running in onto and checking IDOL ANDY. BIG TIME TED (7) - dwelt and was slow into stride.
Race 7	Total Bodyshop Supplies C1 - C1 - 410	MY BENTLEY (2) - bumped and unbalanced racing into the bend losing some momentum. ENTREE ONLY (3) - contact in the hindquarters soon after the start and was further bumped and jostled between runners for some strides and forced back losing ground then ducking outwards between runners to race wide onto the top bend. BIG TIME JARRED (5) - tightened back going in across heels racing off the mats running into the hindquarters of ENTREE ONLY was then tightened and jostled for some strides as ADOBE TURTLE angled across resulting in being checked into the bend losing ground. ADOBE TURTLE (6) - angled across soon after the start tightening in onto BIG TIME JARRED bumping and jostling for some strides then angled across the line of this runner causing himself to be checked racing into the bend.
Race 8	Affordable Pet Accesories C1 - C1 - 410	BIG TIME BOOTS (1) - fav- jostled and pressured from his outer in the run onto the top bend. MICKEY MOWHAWK (2) - tightened between runners and jostled racing onto the top bend. BIG TIME HARRY (3) - dwelt at the jump. Eased into the bend when clear of other runners catching a heel of DOUBLE WHAT as he went back. Looked to clear heels and checked wide across the top bend and in the run to the line. He was referred to the vet and was found to have a moderate pain with bruising showing to the left hind gracilis muscle with a 28 day stand down recommended. KAY TUESSO (4) - hampered when forced to check off heels into the bend. Was referred to the vet on returning to the wash bay and was found to have a dew claw injury to the left fore with no stand down recommended. OPAWA VIOLET (5) - contact in the hindquarters and went sideways for a stride or so into the bend.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company Distance - C1d - 660	SHELLY POM (1) - soon after the start angled across contacting the rail and again soon after on the turn out of the home straight and was referred to the vet and was referred to the vet and cleared of injury. KAMADA PARK (2) - fav- began awkwardly for a stride or so. HOMEBUSH SURGEON (7) - forced to check back off heels and lost some ground in the run to the back straight.
Race 10	PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C2/C3 - C2/3 - 457	BIGTIME LEVI (1) - checked and was pushed sideways into the bend as JILLIBY JAC angled across forcing SILENT DISMISSAL and himself to run onto this runners hindquarters. SILENT DISMISSAL (3) - angled outwards soon after the start contacting the shoulder of JILLIBY JAC. Soon after was dictated and pushed across contacting the hindquarters of BIGTIME LEVI racing into the bend MYSTERY VIKING (6) - angled across into the bend and was checked as runners ahead came back causing him to check outwards losing momentum and ground into the bend. JILLIBY JAC (8) - soon after the start was bumped as SILENT DISMISSAL ran outwards. Soon after angled across forcing SILENT DISMISSAL and himself into the hindquarters of BIGTIME LEVI racing into the bend and lost some momentum.
Race 11	J P Print, Petone C2 - C2 - 410	SCREAMING VIKING (1) - fav- angled outwards from the jump hampering runner to his outer. OPAWA LACY (2) - tightened back racing off the mats. Settled back angled wide into the home straight. ZIPPING LUTHER (5) - hampered racing from the start when forced inwards for a a few strides losing momentum. OUR TYSON (6) - dictated inwards from the jump for a couple of strides. OTIS (7) - angled across sharply from the jump tightening runners to his inner for several strides.
