GENERAL:

Trainers M Prangley and T & L Craik were given permission to scratch their runners free of penalty due to them residing in the Auckland region which is still in Level 3 lockdown.

An inquiry was opened and adjourned in regards to the scratching of NANGAR RIDGE in Race 7.

Race 2	Farmlands CopRice Series Heat 2 - C1q - 375 Heat 2	OPAWA NEMO (2) - contacted by NIGHT ACE early stages. Tightened by outside runners into bend losing ground. NIGHT ACE (3) - contacted by HARDCORE KOBE early stages and pushed inwards on to OPAWA NEMO in consequence. Tightened by HARCCORE KOBE into bend losing ground. HARDCORE KOBE (4) - ran inwards early stages contacting NIGHT ACE. Ran inwards into bend tightening inside runners. MY SNUGGLES (8) - weakened on the bend finishing a clear last. Assessed by vet and found to have a torn triceps muscle.
Race 3	Farmlands CopRice Series Heat 3 - C1q - 375 Heat 3	THRILLING MILO (1) - ran outwards into bend pushing HAPPY MEDIUM wider. HAPPY MEDIUM (3) - pushed wide into bend by THRILLING MILO into bend losing ground in consequence. REACT RESPOND (7) - raced wide final turn. JINJA LAD (8) - last on jumping.
Race 4	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Sprint - C0 - 375	THRILLING OTIS (1) - slow in early stages. Contacted by VEGAS CHOPS on bend. THRILLING BREEZE (2) - ran outwards final turn pushing CALF KING wider. Ran outwards late in run home. CALF KING (3) - pushed wide by THRILLING BREEZE final turn. THRILLING MAPLE (4) - raced wide home straight. XENA POPPY (6) - last to jump. LET EM TALK (7) - checked and pushed down track by VEGAS CHOPS back straight. Ran wide home straight. VEGAS CHOPS (8) - ran inwards back straight checking LET EM TALK. Contacted THRILLING OTIS on bend losing momentum.
Race 5	Garrards Horse & Hound Sprint - C2 - 375	GO ALL LIN (2) - pushed down track by outside runners in run to bend. Ran outwards into bend tightening outside runners. Raced wide final turn. THRILLING TUCKER (5) - pushed down track by FORD MAN early stages contacting inside runners and losing ground in consequence. Raced wide final turn. CLARETOWN BEAU (6) - contacted by FORD MAN early stages losing ground. Tightened into bend losing ground. FORD MAN (7) - ran inwards early stages contacting CLARETOWN BEAU and pushing THRILLING TUCKER down the track. Tightened into bend losing ground. Raced wide home straight. TRIBAL CONQUEST (9/3) - contacted by THRILLING TUCKER early stages.
Race 6	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C4/5 - 375	The track was upgraded to Good prior to this event. BIG TIME IZZY (1) - badly tightened into bend dropping to rear. SPRING CESC (3) - tightened into bend losing ground. SPORTS MODE (4) - ran outwards final bend contacting NANGAR HURRICANE and being turned sideways for a stride losing momentum. BIG TIME BRIE (5) - tightened by outside runners into bend losing ground. Pushed down track by NANGAR HURRICANE late in run home. THRILLING NORMAN (6) - last to jump. OUR HEMI (7) - contacted by NANGAR HURRICANE back straight. Tightened by NANGAR HURRICANE into bend losing ground. NANGAR HURRICANE (8) - ran inwards back straight contacting OUR HEMI. Continued to run inwards into bend tightening inside runners. Contacted by SPORTS MODE final bend. Ran inwards late in run home pushing BIG TIME BRIE down the track.

GET ME HOME (7) - contacted by VIBE into bend losing ground. VIBE (10/8) - ran inwards into bend contacting GET ME HOME and losing ground.
Race 8	Vetora Cambridge Sprint - C2/3 - 375	MAX VOLUME (2) - pushed inwards by BEAU BEAU into bend brushing the rail and losing ground. Badly tightened on bend losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. BEAU BEAU (4) - ran inwards into bend pushing MAX VOLUME inwards. Dragged PAPA SMURF down into bend losing momentum. BOOT CAMP TIARA (5) - raced wide concluding stages. PAPA SMURF (6) - terminally dragged down into bend losing chance. Assessed by vet and found to have a strained triceps muscle. OPAWA ROY (10/8) - slow in early stages. Raced wide concluding stages.
Race 9	Mike Stent Decorators Ltd Stakes - C4/5 - 457	OPAWA TRAVIS (2) - ran outwards into bend contacting SAKICHI losing ground. THRILLING BRUCE (3) - tightened early stages losing ground. Hampered by fallen runner into bend losing momentum. BIG TIME PLUTO (4) - tightened by outside runners back straight losing ground. Hampered and pushed wide by fallen runner into bend losing ground. BIG TIME LANTAO (5) - pushed down track by SAKACHI back straight. SAKICHI (6) - ran inwards back straight pushing runners down track. Fell into bend when tightened by OPAWA TRAVIS.
