1) Co-trainer T Craik advised Stewards that she has had LUCY MIRKO examined by a veterinary surgeon following this meeting where she was found to be sore in her left fibula.

1) S O'Neill - $150 - presented MAX VOLUME up 1.8kg from his previous race weight.

A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed a spike wound on the left hind foot. REACT RESPOND (5) - unbalanced nearing the bend. SMASH OUT (6) - coursed wide through the home straight. YOU'RE GORGEOUS (7) - coursed wide through the home straight. MY MATE SPEIGHT (8) - coursed wide through the early stages of the home straight. TRIBAL CONQUEST (9/2) - began awkwardly, settling several lengths behind the field.
Race 2	Qualified Pet Services Railway Sprint Heat 1 - C5q - 318 Heat 1	SEVE (3) - bumped LAST STAR shortly after the start. Buffeted, then squeezed LAST STAR nearing the bend. Bumped entering the bend. LAST STAR (4) - bumped shortly after the start. Buffeted, then squeezed between runners nearing the bend. Coursed wide entering the bend to race wide for the remainder of the event. PORTLAND ECKLUND (5) - slow away. BIG TIME GWYN (6) - contacted entering the bend. JUST AS MUCH (7) - slow away. Contacted BIG TIME GWYN entering the bend, becoming unbalanced and moving up the track. BUDDY BOOM (8) - buffeted, then squeezed LAST STAR nearing the bend, becoming slightly unbalanced entering the bend, bumping SEVE in consequence.
Race 3	Qualified Pet Services Railway Sprint Heat 2 - C5q - 318 Heat 2	BIG TIME FROSTY (1) - bumped nearing the bend. Contacted BIG TIME FUZZ from behind entering the bend, then contacted from behind. Shouldered off BIG TIME FUZZ nearing the home straight, becoming momentarily unbalanced and moving up the track. Contacted entering the home straight. ARCHIE JOHN HILL (2) - a post race veterinary examination was carried out on ARCHIE JOHN HILL following an incident at the lure which revealed no injuries. BIG TIME FUZZ (3) - bumped entering the bend, then contacted from behind. Shouldered BIG TIME FROSTY nearing the home straight. Tightened HE'S ALL SHINE entering the home straight. HE'S ALL SHINE (4) - bumped BIG TIME FROSTY nearing the bend, then unbalanced contacting BIG TIME FROSTY from behind entering the bend and bumping PORTLAND BLONDE. Tightened entering the home straight needing to check across heels, contacting BIG TIME FROSTY. NANGAR HURRICANE (5) - placed in restricted room nearing the bend. PORTLAND BLONDE (6) - slow away. Bumped entering the bend, moving up the track and racing wide for the remainder of the event.

A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. IT'S A LAUGH (3) - bumped at the start. Jostled with SO EXCITED through the back straight. Contacted SO EXCITED from behind entering the bend and lost ground as a result. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. CAPTAIN KEV (4) - jostled with SO EXCITED nearing the bend, losing some momentum entering the bend. KNOW DEBT (6) - began awkwardly.
Race 5	Qualified Pet Services Railway Sprint Heat 4 - C5q - 318 Heat 4	PORTLAND WONDER (1) - contacted OAKMONT from behind nearing the bend. OAKMONT (2) - contacted from behind nearing the bend. EXPRESS EMPORIUM (3) - bumped at the start. Bumped TROUSSEAU shortly after the start. Contacted HOT LITTLE NANCY on the point of the bend. Coursed wide through the latter stages of the bend and through the home straight. TROUSSEAU (4) - bumped EXPRESS EMPORIUM at the start. Bumped shortly after the start. HOT LITTLE NANCY (6) - contacted on the point of the bend, losing some momentum. Awkwardly placed on heels nearing the home straight. BIG TIME MILO (7) - slow away. ISN'T SHE SLEEK (8) - began very awkwardly, appearing to slip out of the boxes. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries.
Race 6	Sunline Trophy Stakes - SPECA - 527	ELECTRIC SHOCK (2) - tightened on the point of the first bend, needing to check across heels to gain clear racing room. Raced wide through the back straight. ROD'S GIRL (4) - brushed ROMANTIC DANCER at the start. Tightened ELECTRIC SHOCK on the point of the first bend. ROMANTIC DANCER (5) - brushed ROD'S GIRL at the start. Coursed wide through the back straight, dictating the racing line of HURRY FLURRY. HURRY FLURRY (6) - dictated wide through the back straight by ROMANTIC DANCER. MAX VOLUME (7) - awkward of the mats. Coursed wide through the back straight. GET ME HOME (8) - raced wide at various stages throughout.
Race 7	Auckland Cup Heat 1 - C5q - 527 Heat 1	RIVALRIES (1) - brushed PEARLS ARE US at the start. PEARLS ARE US (2) - tightened, then brushed RIVALRIES at the start. Buffeted BIG TIME PLUTO through the bend. Moved up the track nearing the winning post. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed a left calf muscle injury. DRINK SHOEYS (3) - tightened PEARLS ARE US at the start. UTHOR BALE (4) - slow away. Awkwardly placed behind runners nearing the back straight, needing to check across heels to gain clear racing room. BIG TIME PLUTO (5) - bumped BIG TIME KAYLEE nearing the winning post on the first occasion and again on the point of the first bend. Buffeted PEARLS ARE US through the bend. BIG TIME KAYLEE (6) - bumped nearing the winning post on the first occasion and again on the point of the first bend. Contacted nearing the final bend. Tightened on the point of the final bend, appearing to contact the rail. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. BEST BALL (7) - contacted at the start. Contacted BIG TIME KAYLEE nearing the final bend. Tightened BIG TIME KAYLEE on the point of the final bend. BIG TIME ELSA (8) - began awkwardly contacting BEST BALL at the start. Race 8	Auckland Cup Heat 2 - C5q - 527 Heat 2	THRILLING STOMP (1) - began awkwardly. Buffeted shortly after the start. Jostled with BRONKSI BEAT, briefly, nearing the winning post on the first occasion. Inconvenienced by fallen runner entering the first bend. Raced very wide through the back straight. BRONSKI BEAT (2) - tightened, then buffeted THRILLING STOMP shortly after the start. Jostled with THRILLING STOMP, briefly, nearing the winning post on the first occasion. Inconvenienced by fallen runner entering the first bend. BIG TIME FALCON (3) - tightened BRONSKI BEAT shortly after the start. Tightened entering the first bend becoming very unbalanced and colliding with CUMBRIA LAD and heavily contacting the outside fence. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed multiple significant ligament damage to its right hock which was extremely unstable. After consultation with the on-course Veterinarian it was established that the best course of action for the greyhound's welfare was for it to be humanly euthanised. ZIPPING SHELDON (4) - contacted from behind entering the first bend. Bumped nearing the final bend. CUMBRIA LAD (5) - bumped PORTLAND BERTY at the start. Collided with BIG TIME FALCON entering the first bend, falling as a result. Regained his feet and completed the event, a post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed left trapezius muscle tear. A solo trial is required prior to racing again. PORTLAND BERTY (6) - bumped at the start. Tightened BIG TIME FALCON entering the first bend, then contacted ZIPPING SHELDON from behind. Bumped ZIPPING SHELDON nearing the final bend. HOLY GRAIL (8) - inconvenienced by fallen runner entering the first bend, out of contention thereafter.
Race 9	Auckland Cup Heat 3 - C5q - 527 Heat 3	MARVAHA BALE (1) - tightened entering the final bend, losing ground. OPAWA TRAVIS (2) - brushed OZZIE at the start. Moved up the track entering the back straight contacting PEDRO LEE. Awkwardly placed behind runners entering the final bend. Contacted JILLIBY LITSA nearing the home straight. OZZIE (3) - brushed OPAWA TRAVIS at the start. Contacted from behind entering the home straight. PEDRO LEE (4) - slow away. Placed in restricted room entering the back straight. Contacted entering the back straight becoming unbalanced and losing ground. Tightened MARVAHA BALE entering the final bend. LA ROCHELLE (5) - bumped BIG TIME LANTAO on the point of the first bend. JILLIBY LITSA (6) - contacted nearing the home straight becoming unbalanced and moving up the track. BIG TIME LANTAO (7) - bumped on the point of the first bend.
