Waikato GRC - 11 March 2021

1) RHODES WORTHY (M Gowan) was represented pursuant with Rule 56.6 and found to still be suffering an injury after being stood down at this meeting with the original stand down period staying.

Palmerston North GRC - 16 March 2021.

1) BIG TIME ANGEL (L Cole) was represented pursuant with Rule 56.6 and found to still be suffering from an injury after being stood down at this meeting with the original stand down period staying in place.

2) On further review of the films BIG TIME WOLFIE (race 7) has been stood down for failing to pursue (1st offence) 28 day stand down and to complete a satisfactory trial.

FINES:

1) Agent/Williams training partnership - $150 - presented BIG TIME TATUM up 1.7 kg from his last race start.

TRIALS:

1) AHUROA WHIZZ (R Murray) completed a solo trial as required.

INJURY TRIAL REQUIRED:

1) ADOBE RUBBLE (race 7).

A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. WAITING GAME (2) - tightened nearing the bend, in turn tightened KINETIC JYN, losing ground as a result. Checked across heels entering the home straight. BIG TIME NOAH (3) - tightened WAITING GAME nearing the bend. HARDCORE BRUTE (5) - coursed wide entering the home straight. STAY ME BROKE (6) - slow away. Awkward into the bend, moving up the track momentarily as a result. JOYFUL TEARS (7) - bumped BLUEY entering the bend. BLUEY (8) - bumped entering the bend. Coursed wide through the home straight.
Race 2	AON CPF INSURANCE C0 - C0 - 520	ADOBE PEBBLES (4) - slow away. FROSTY PARADISE (6) - squeezed LOST IN PACE shortly after the start. LOST IN PACE (7) - squeezed between runners shortly after the start. Raced wide on various occasions throughout. Trainer M Goodier advised that he expected LOST IN PACE to derive benefit from her first run back following a brief let up. CRISPY CHICKEN (8) - squeezed LOST IN PACE shortly after the start.
Race 3	LASER PLUMBING C0 - C0 - 305	ZERO TOLERANCE (1) - buffeted LOUDRED nearing the home straight, becoming slightly unbalanced as a result. ALLEGRO MOSES (3) - began awkwardly, contacting GOTCHA MAX. GOTCHA MAX (4) - contacted at the start, then moved up the track shortly after the start contacting LOUDRED. LOUDRED (6) - contacted shortly after the start. Buffeted nearing the home straight. Raced wide through the home straight. ADOBE BETTY (7) - bumped shortly after the start. Crowded nearing the bend, losing some ground. HARDCORE LISA (8) - bumped ADOBE BETTY shortly after the start.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	GO GREAT (3) - moved up the track shortly after the start bumping SO SEVERE. SO SEVERE (4) - squeezed BIG TIME BEAT at the start. Bumped shortly after the start. Buffeted NOAH RAPPER nearing the bend. Contacted from behind on the point of the bend. Jostled with BIG TIME BEAT through the latter stages of the home straight. BIG TIME BEAT (5) - squeezed between runners at the start. Contacted SO SEVERE from behind on the point of the bend. Jostled with SO SEVERE through the latter stages of the home straight. NOAH RAPPER (6) - buffeted on several occasions when racing through the back straight. Coursed wide entering the home straight, losing ground. Appeared awkward in his action through the home straight with a post race veterinary examination being carried out which revealed a tear to the left hind tensor facia late muscle. When spoken to trainer B Marsh advised Stewards that it was his intention to add blinkers to NOAH RAPPER for his next race. THRILLING MILLIE (7) - buffeted NOAH RAPPER through the back straight.
Race 5	KERNOW CONSTRUCTION C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	SOZIN'S DELIGHT (1) - brushed SHOT OF CLASS at the start. Crowded shortly after the start. Moved up the track entering the bend and raced wide through the bend and home straight. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed a torn left hind gracilis muscle sheath. SHOT OF CLASS (2) - brushed SOZIN'S DELIGHT at the start. AHUROA PRINCESS (4) - coursed wide entering the home straight. ALLEGRO LEXXI (6) - tightened shortly after the start becoming unbalanced and moving wider as a result. BIG TIME NALA (7) - tightened ALLEGRO LEXXI shortly after the start.
Race 6	FIRST SECURITY C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	DINO THE FOX (3) - contacted shortly after the start. Coursed wide through the latter stages of the bend to race wide through the home straight. DOTTIE BELL (4) - bumped shortly after the start, in turn contacted DINO THE FOX. Moved up the track nearing the bend inconveniencing IDOL ZIGGY. Raced wide through the home straight. IDOL ZIGGY (5) - bumped DOTTIE BELL shortly after the start. Inconvenienced nearing the bend. MISS ADOBE (6) - began very awkwardly, settling several lengths behind the field. HOMEBUSH MAXI (9/1) - began on terms with the field then drifted nearing the bend to finish some distance behind the field. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed pain in the right hind gracilis muscle.
Race 7	ACCELL "LEADING THE WAY IN CANINE THERAPY" C1 - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH MANDY (1) - tightened nearing the bend needing to check across heels to gain clear racing room. Contacted COOL BEANS on the point of the bend. ADOBE RUBBLE (2) - slow away. Bumped nearing the bend, appearing to contact the rail and falling and not completing the event as result. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed a fracture to right fore radius. The leg was put in a splint with pain relief provided and was referred on for further treatment. DILLER (3) - bumped ADOBE RUBBLE nearing the bend. HOMEBUSH MAREE (6) - tightened HOMEBUSH MANDY nearing the bend. COOL BEANS (7) - contacted on the point of the bend.
Race 8	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 520	ADOBE TURTLE (1) - bumped BIG TIME RITA entering the first bend. ADOBE NINJA (2) - inconvenienced entering the first bend. Tightened on the point of the first bend losing some momentum. STORMY JAY (3) - tightened entering the first bend and again on the point of the first bend, losing ground as a result. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. When spoken to with regards to her performance trainer W Kite advised Stewards that this was STORMY JAY's first start since a recent 'season'. Ms. Kite further added that the Greyhound would derive benefit from today's run. BIG TIME RITA (4) - began awkwardly. Bumped entering the first bend, in turn inconveniencing ADOBE NINJA. Tightened ADOBE NINJA on the point of the first bend. SWEENEY TODD (6) - began awkwardly. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the first bend. BIG TIME GIGI (7) - bumped nearing the first bend, in turn tightened STORMY JAY. BIG TIME DIOR (9/5) - raced wide at various stages throughout.
Race 9	WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ C1 - C1 - 305	STRIKE IT RICH (2) - slow away. Coursed wide nearing the home straight. LIBERTY TAKER (5) - placed in restricted room nearing the home straight. GOTCHA POPEYE (6) - checked at the start losing a considerable amount of ground and unable to get back into contention thereafter. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. NIGHTHAWK FANCY (7) - checked GOTCHA POPEYE at the start.
Race 10	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	CHOICE SISTER (1) - began awkwardly pushing DARK AND DUSTY up the track at the start. Tightened shortly after the start. Coursed wide entering the home straight. DARK AND DUSTY (2) - pushed up the track at the start, losing some momentum. Buffeted shortly after the start, then buffeted HOMEBUSH CAPTAIN when moving up the track. BIG TIME ARI (3) - bumped at the start. Tightened CHOICE SISTER shortly after the start. THREE OF HEARTS (4) - began awkwardly bumping BIG TIME ARI and ALAMEIN GRAEME at the start. Buffeted DARK AND DUSTY shortly after the start when attempting to move up the track. Tightened nearing the bend needing to check across heels to gain clear racing room. ALAMEIN GRAEME (5) - bumped at the start. HOMEBUSH CAPTAIN (7) - buffeted shortly after the start becoming unbalanced and moving toward and contacting the rail. Out of contention thereafter. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. ADOBE SPINNER (8) - tightened THREE OF HEARTS nearing the bend. Checked across heels nearing the home straight.
Race 11	PRESIDENTS DASH C1 Ht1 - C1q - 305 Heat 1	CLANSMAN DOUGLAS (1) - very slow away. TIGER CHURN (3) - bumped at the start. KINETIC REBEL (4) - bumped TIGER CHURN at the start. AL'S WITCH (5) - raced wide at various stages throughout. TESTING TIME (7) - slow away. IDOL JAN (8) - bumped at the start. Coursed wide entering the home straight. BIG TIME PENNY (9/6) - bumped IDOL JAN at the start.
Race 12	SEE YOU FRIDAY C1 Ht2 - C1q - 305 Heat 2	STAR SECRET (1) - moved up the track shortly after the start and jostled with TRUE TESTAMENT through the back straight becoming unbalanced nearing the bend and losing ground. Continued to move up the track squeezing LESLIE ALBERT entering the bend. Raced wide through the home straight, dictating the running line of LESLIE ALBERT. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. ALLEGRO SMOOCH (2) - moved up the track shortly after the start, dictating LESLIE ALBERT wider as a result. TRUE TESTAMENT (3) - jostled with STAR SECRET through the back straight, eventually clearing that runner nearing the bend. Contacted ELLE from behind entering the bend. LESLIE ALBERT (4) - dictated wide shortly after the start, squeezing OPAWA JODY as a result. Squeezed between runners entering the bend. Had running line dictated through the home straight and obliged to race wide as a result. ELLE (5) - slow away. Contacted from behind entering the bend. OPAWA JODY (6) - bumped, then squeezed between runners shortly after the start, losing ground as a result. Squeezed LESLIE ALBERT entering the bend. Coursed wide through the home straight. HYPOTHETICAL (7) - bumped, then squeezed OPAWA JODY shortly after the start. Coursed wide through the latter stages of the bend.

YARN SISTER (1) - jostled with SIDELINE SALLY nearing the bend, then squeezed SIDELINE SALLY entering the bend. TELLTALE SIGNS (2) - heavily contacted soon after the start, losing momentum. Coursed wide through the latter stages of the bend. KING THEODEN (3) - squeezed PARADOX PRINCE shortly after the start, then contacted TELLTALE SIGNS. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend.
