General:

1). Stewards conducted checks on vehicles used for the purpose of transporting greyhounds to and from the race meeting today with compliance orders issued.

1). BIGTIME GLORY (L Cole) - stood down pending satisfactory solo trial.

BIG TIME KATY (4) - contacted from the outside early stages before being obligated to race in restricted room before jostling with PICK A PASCAL. Placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. ARTICULATOR (5) - contacted from the outside by BIG TIME YONKERS early stages being obligated to race in restricted room. BIG TIME FELIX (6) - slow early. BIG TIME YONKERS (7) - shifted down the track early stages colliding with ARTICULATOR. SUB TWENTY THREE (8) - slow early.
Race 2	POR15.co.nz C4/C5 - C4/5 - 410	BIG TIME FROSTY (1) - crowded for racing room entering the bend having to check off heels. JILLIBY SOPHIA (4) - squeezed for racing room early stages. BIG TIME FUZZ (5) - contacted from the outside by BIG TIME IZZY on jumping. BIG TIME IZZY (6) - collided with BIG TIME FUZZ on jumping. GOLDSTAR TROOPER (8) - slow early stages.
Race 3	Sparkie Sprint C5 - C5 - 410	GOLDSTAR FLORA (2) - slow early. SUPER OVER DRAMA (4) - slow early. Weakened later stages. Referred to the Veterinarian as a precaution where no clinical abnormalities were found. BEES AND BIRDS (5) - raced on the hindquarters of BIG TIME GWYN approaching the bend becoming unbalanced and losing momentum. BIG TIME GWYN (7) - hindquarters raced on approaching the bend.
Race 4	Total Bodyshop Supplies Distance Feature - C2d - 720	GOLDSTAR TRUMAN (2) - slow early stages. Collided with SHELLY POM entering the first turn. SHELLY POM (5) - slow early stages. Collided with GOLDSTAR TRUMAN entering the first bend losing ground.
Race 5	resin.co.nz C4/C5 - C4/5 - 457	BIG TIME KAYLEE (1) - shouldered with BIG TIME ELSA approaching the bend. BIG TIME ELSA (2) - shouldered with BIG TIME KAYLEE approaching the bend losing ground. Checked outwards off heels entering the home straight colliding with BIGTIME ROD. JILLIBY LITSA (4) - referred to the Veterinarian after falling at the lure where it was reported to have pain over its right deltoid muscle and left gracilis. BIG TIME FRANKIE (5) - checked inwards off heels approaching the bend. BIGTIME ROD (6) - contacted from the outside entering the home straight. SPEED MACHINE (8) - slow early stages. BIGTIME BRUNO (9/7) - slow early stages.
Race 6	PNGRC Golden Chase 5th Supporting Race - INV - 457	BIG TIME GLORY (1) - gave ground rapidly rounding the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have sustained a fractured hock. Connections reported the bitch would be retired to the breeding kennel. GOLDSTAR HADLEE (2) - slow early. Hampered by BIG TIME GLORY rounding the bend.
Race 7	PNGRC Golden Chase 4th Supporting Race - INV - 457	JUST LIKE LUCY (1) - shouldered briefly with BUDDY LOADED in the run to the bend. Hampered when awkwardly placed between runners rounding the bend. GOLDSTAR YANKEE (2) - raced on the shoulder of GO BRO prior to the finish. BUDDY LOADED (3) - shouldered briefly with JUST LIKE LUCY in the run to the bend. UPSTART CROW (4) - slow early. EMGRAND ROSE (5) - raced on the shoulder of GO BRO prior to the bend. GO BRO (6) - placed in restricted room prior to the finish line. GOLDSTAR SHARON (7) - slow early. Hampered rounding the bend. MEANDERING (8) - awkwardly placed to the outside of JUST LIKE LUCY rounding the bend losing momentum.
Race 8	PNGRC Golden Chase 3rd Supporting Race - INV - 457	GOLDSTAR SPOOK (1) - terminally checked when improving into a marginal gap rounding the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have pain over its left shoulder and in both gracilis muscles. GOLDSTAR ALASKA (5) - contacted form the outside early stages. Checked from behind in the run to the bend. GOLDSTAR CLOVER (6) - dictated down onto GOLDSTAR ALASKA early stages. Placed in restricted room in the run to the bend losing ground. Lost further ground when awkwardly positioned to the inside of GOLDSTAR ALASKA approaching the bend. SMOKIN' CHIMNEY (7) - shifted down the track on jumping dictating GOLDSTAR CLOVER DOWN onto GOLDSTAR ALASKA.
Race 9	PNGRC Golden Chase 2nd Supporting Race - INV - 457	THRILLING BRAX (2) - referred to the Veterinarian by trainer Mrs Lincoln-Papuni where it was reported to have pain around the metatarsal joint. LONGSHANKS (3) - dictated down the track in the run to the bend. Checked entering the bend losing ground. FOND OF YOU (4) - placed in restricted room early stages. Checked entering the bend losing ground. GOLDSTAR TANNER (6) - shouldered with NOTORIOUS HEIST on jumping. NOTORIOUS HEIST (7) - shouldered with GOLDSTAR TANNER on jumping. GOLDSTAR TUDOR (8) - crowded inside runners on jumping and again through the early stages. Placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground.
Race 10	PNGRC Golden Chase 1st Supporting Race - INV - 457	SAKICHI (2) - jostled with BIGTIME BRODY in the run to the bend before being placed in restricted room losing ground. BIGTIME BRODY (3) - jostled with SAKICHI in the run to the bend. Placed in restricted room entering the bend having to check and lose ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. STAY CONNECTED (4) - awkwardly placed entering the bend losing momentum. RAPID FIRE (5) - began awkwardly settling last. Hampered entering the bend.
Race 11	PNGRC Golden Chase 2021 - SPEC - 457	The race comprised of four (4) match races, with two greyhounds per match race as per the Box Draw; 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, 5 vs 6 and 7 vs 8. Greyhounds jumped from Box 1 and Box 3 (odd numbered greyhounds from Box 1 and even numbered greyhounds from Box 3). The all clear was delayed after the on-course digital timing for match race number 4 malfunctioned and as a consequence the time for PEDRO LEE was unable to be established via this method of timing. As per the race conditions, in the case of any equipment malfunction during the match races the race impacted on will be referred to the Exemptions Committee consisting of Michael Dore (GRNZ Racing Operations and Welfare Manager) in conjunction with the RIU and the Chairman of the GRNZ Rules of Racing Committee (Robert Death). It was the decision of this committee to use the FORMPRO system to establish a final time for PEDRO LEE. BROKE BRAD (2) - slow early. Coursed wide in the run to the bend. NANGAR RIDGE (4) - slightly awkward to jump.
