Briefly contacted the hindquarters of TERESA MENDOZA exiting the bend. TERESA MENDOZA (3) - shouldered with MARAKESH MAX approaching the bend. Hindquarters briefly contacted exiting the bend. BEES ARE BUZZING (4) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. CALM INFERNO (5) - lost ground after making contact with the running rail when attempting a marginal gap entering the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. MEGA DREAM (6) - crowded the racing room of BEES ARE BUZZING entering the bend. SMASH ACHIEVER (8) - dictated wide before shifting inwards off heels rounding the bend.
Race 2	Addington Events Centre Stakes - C2 - 520	TOKYO BIRD (3) - crowded the racing room of JELLY FISH rounding the first bend. Crowded for racing room rounding the final bend being obligated to check outwards off heels and lose momentum for a stride. JELLY FISH (4) - crowded for racing room rounding the first bend losing momentum. NIGHTHAWK FANCY (5) - obligated to shift off heels early stages. IT'S A BLAZE (6) - crowded the racing line of TOKYO BIRD rounding the final bend.
Race 3	Hart Family Greyhound Racing Sprint - C3 - 295	CREME BRULEE (1) - shouldered with KNOW PICK on jumping. Jostled with this greyhound in the run to the bend. Crowded rounding the bend. KNOW PICK (2) - shouldered with CREME BRULEE on jumping. Dictated down onto this greyhound in the run to the bend. MITCHAM QUEEN (3) - boxed first. GOTCHA DOTTY (5) - shifted up the track exiting the bend. MR KUMAR (6) - came up with the lid and settled last. HOMEBUSH ARIANA (10/4) - dictated KNOW PICK down the track in the run to the bend. Crowded the running line of CREME BRULEE rounding the bend.
Race 4	mayhounds.org.nz Rehoming Group Dash - C3 - 295	ALEXIA (4) - contacted from the outside early stages by HOMEBUSH COMET. Shifted up the track approaching the bend forcing HOMEBUSH COMET to check inwards off heels before having its hindquarters turned inwards after by COME A GUSTER. HOMEBUSH COMET (6) - checked inwards off the heels of HONEY LANTREE early stages colliding with ALEXIA as a consequence. Obligated to check inwards off heels approaching the bend losing ground thereafter. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of abnormalities. COME A GUSTER (8) - obliged to race on the hindquarters of ALEXIA in the run to the bend.
Race 5	O'Shea's Public House Sprint - C3 - 295	OPAWA JAWS (2) - shouldered briefly with NEXT OFF early stages. Hindquarters raced on briefly shortly afterwards before being obligated to race in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. NEXT OFF (3) - shouldered briefly with OPAWA JAWS early stages. Dictated down onto this greyhound shortly afterwards before being squeezed for racing room and having to check inwards off heels. Again obligated to check off heels entering the bend causing an inconvenience to REGAL VALIANT. REGAL VALIANT (4) - began awkwardly before dictating NEXT OFF down the track onto OPAWA JAWS. Inconvenienced entering the bend when racing to the immediate outside of NEXT OFF. SMASH DRAGON (5) - coursed wide throughout the run home. TIGGERLONG DEMON (6) - dragged down when awkwardly positioned to the outside of SMASH DRAGON entering the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
Race 6	Culvie Boy's Syndicate Dash - C3 - 295	SPICE SPICE BABY (3) - jostled briefly with KAY'S LAST early stages. KAY'S LAST (4) - shouldered briefly with GOLDSTAR ARIA on jumping before jostling for a stride with SPICE SPICE BABY. Shifted up the track colliding with AMURI MYSTIC in the run to the bend. GOLDSTAR ARIA (5) - shouldered briefly with KAY'S LAST on jumping. Obliged to check inwards off heels after being squeezed for racing room in the run to the bend. AMURI MYSTIC (7) - collided with KAY'S LAST in the run to the bend. PITCH MARK (8) - coursed wide in the run to the bend.
Race 7	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C5 - 295	KING TOLIMAN (1) - raced in tight quarters entering the bend having to check. OPAWA BAILEY (4) - forced down onto heels entering the bend losing ground. EVER RESTED (5) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground before becoming awkwardly placed on heels. TAIERI MISSILE (6) - awkwardly positioned to the outside of EVER RESTED entering the bend.
Race 8	Suck It Up Ltd Dash - C4 - 295	JUST IZZY (1) - hindquarters raced on in the run to the bend. AMURI BATMAN (2) - forced down the track early stages being forced into restricted room and obligated to race on the hindquarters of JUST IZZY. HOMEBUSH LIAM (3) - forced AMURI BATMAN down onto JUST IZZY early stages. HORSE RANGE (5) - crowded for racing room entering the bend being obligated to check and lose ground. MADE THE CUT (7) - crowded the racing line of HORSE RANGE approaching the bend.
Race 9	Beach Cafe & Wine Bar Dash - C4 - 295	GOLDSTAR JAY JAY (2) - placed in restricted room approaching the bend. Again positioned in restricted room rounding the bend having to steady. HOMEBUSH STASSER (4) - hindquarters raced on briefly approaching the bend when placing GOLDSTAR JAY JAY in restricted room. CURLY BILL (5) - shouldered with OUR DAZZEL for a stride early stages. Placed in tight quarters entering the bend. OUR DAZZEL (9/6) - shouldered with CURLY BILL for a stride early stages. Placed in tight quarters entering the bend losing ground.
Race 10	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C3 - 520	GREAT WORK (2) - began awkwardly before being contacted from the outside by OPAWA OLIVER. MR BLACKJACK (4) - placed in restricted room approaching the first bend losing ground. Shouldered briefly with OPAWA OLIVER entering the first bend. MY CURLY (5) - shifted in off heels early stages forcing OPAWA OLIVER down onto GREAT WORK. Briefly placed in tight quarters entering the first bend. Placed on heels exiting the first bend. Awkwardly placed between runners prior to entering the home straight contacting the hindquarters of OPAWA MAY. OPAWA MAY (9/1) - hindquarters contacted prior to entering the home straight. OPAWA OLIVER (10/3) - slow early before being dictated down onto GREAT WORK. Shouldered briefly with MR BLACKJACK entering the first bend.
Race 11	Waihemo Lodge Hotel Dash - C5 - 295	MONTY MAD HAMMER (3) - began awkwardly. Checked entering the bend. Jostled briefly with OPAWA OSCAR rounding the bend before being obliged to check off heels. ARCHIE JOHN HILL (4) - placed in restricted room entering the bend. OPAWA OSCAR (5) - inconvenienced entering the bend. Jostled briefly with MONTY MAD HAMMER rounding the bend. MAFFRA DAISY (8) - boxed first. Awkwardly placed to the outside of ARCHIE JOHN HILL entering the bend losing ground.
Race 12	Selwyn-Rakaia Vet Services Stakes - C5 - 520	ZIPPING SHELDON (4) - heavily contacted from the inside by ADOBE BRO early stages before being obligated to check off heels. Heels clipped rounding the first bend. Jostled with ADOBE BRO approaching the final bend. Faltered exiting the final bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have sustained a fractured hock. UTHOR BALE (5) - awkwardly positioned on heels early stages having to check. Raced on the hindquarters of FAIRLY ABLE entering the first bend being obligated to race wide. FAIRLY ABLE (7) - crowded early stages before being bumped up the track by MARVAHA BALE. Hindquarters raced on entering the first bend by UTHOR BALE shifting up the track and dictating this runner wide as a consequence. Clipped the heels of ZIPPING SHELDON rounding the first bend. OPAWA DEAL (8) - crowded FAIRLY ABLE early stages. ADOBE BRO (9/2) - shifted off heels early stages colliding with ZIPPING SHELDON who in turn made contact with MARVAHA BALE. Jostled with ZIPPING SHELDON approaching the final bend. MARVAHA BALE (10/6) - contacted from the inside early stages by ZIPPING SHELDON bumping FAIRLY ABLE up the track in consequence.
Race 13	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - R/A - 295	Stewards undertook an inspection of the track where ZIPPING SHELDON faltered free of interference and fractured its hock in the previous race. This inspection failed to find any irregularities that could be apportioned to this incident with the track deemed safe to continue racing. ROMEO (3) - boxed first. MITCHAM USAIN (4) - jostled with MAXIMUS SPEED early stages. Held up rounding the bend. MAXIMUS SPEED (5) - jostled with MITCHAM USAIN early stages before being obligated to check inwards off the heels of ROMEO. OPAWA PHIL (8) - slow early.
Race 14	Springston Hotel Dash - C5 - 295	The all clear was delayed until Stewards had viewed all available films to ascertain whether the Lure had been positioned too close to the lead greyhound approaching the home straight. After viewing all films it was established that the lure had been positioned less than 5 metres in front of the lead greyhound, however Stewards permitted this variance after they were satisfied that no Greyhound had been substantially inconvenienced so as to affect the outcome of the Race due to this. No further action was deemed necessary other to remind the Lure driver of his obligations. TRICKY (5) - heels clipped entering the bend. HOMEBUSH AIMEE (7) - raced on the heels of TRICKY entering the bend. HILTON HOPE (8) - lost momentum when checking off heels entering the bend.
Race 15	Protexin Sprint - C4 - 295	HILTON HEADACHE(5) - late scratching at kenneling. TAIERI SNAPSHOT (10/7) - slow early. Made the bend awkwardly coursing wide.
