Race 2	Happy Birthday Matt Claridge Stakes - C0 - 520	CAPTAIN TIM (1) - checked from behind entering the first bend. GOLDSTAR VARGAS (2) - slow to jump. Checked outwards and coursed wide entering the first bend. GOLDSTAR ANGE (5) - slow early. Climbed on heels entering the first bend. EPIC GALAXY (6) - slow early. JAM PACKED (7) - checked from behind entering the first bend clipping the heels of CAPTAIN TIM as a consequence. ADOBE SLICE (8) - awkwardly positioned on heels rounding the final bend.

ALEXIA (5) - brushed of the hindquarters of DARLA BALE outwards onto GOING GORILLAS early stages. Placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. GOING GORILLAS (6) - bumped briefly with ALEXIA early stages. Inconvenienced entering the bend shifting up the track as a consequence. MAYBE RIGHT (8) - slow early. Awkwardly positioned on heels rounding the bend.
Race 4	Happy Birthday Maureen Kingston Sprint - C0 - 295	HOMEBUSH AROHA (1) - jostled with PIPPILOTTA early stages. Had to check and lose all momentum when placed in restricted room entering the bend. PIPPILOTTA (2) - jostled with HOMEBUSH AROHA and MISS MADRID early stages. GOLDSTAR PRESLEY (3) - raced in restricted room early stages losing ground. Awkwardly placed on heels approaching the final straight. SHANMARIA (5) - obligated to check off heels rounding the bend. SIMON THE PIEMAN (6) - obligated to check off heels early stages. IMPRESSIVE ISLA (7) - crowded the racing line of SIMON THE PIEMAN early stages. Checked from behind entering the bend losing ground. KNOW FAREWELL (5) - shifted wide entering the bend obliging MARAKESH MAX to check off heels. MARAKESH MAX (6) - obligated to check off heels entering the bend. IYLAH JEWEL (7) - Stewards questioned the improved performance of this greyhound with kennel representative T Duley advising the bitch had appreciated a fast beginning which corresponded to an interference free run throughout.
Race 7	Selwyn-Rakaia Vet Services Stakes - C1 - 520	OPAWA SANDRIDGE (2) - contacted from the outside approaching the first bend. Raced in tight quarters approaching the final straight. DALISHA BALE (3) - forced down the track early stages making contact with OPAWA SANDRIDGE approaching the first bend. STUMPY BILL (5) - dictated down the track onto DALISHA BALE early stages. Checked off heels entering the first bend. Referred to the Veteriairian where it was reported to have reopened an old spike wound on its left hind foot with a 10 day incapacitation issued. QUEENA BALE (7) - awkwardly placed to the outside of ADOBE NINJA exiting the bend. ADOBE NINJA (8) - hampered entering the final straight.

Held up rounding the bend. MISS ADOBE (6) - crowded the racing room of GRACIE LEE entering the bend. HOMEBUSH COMET (7) - checked entering the first bend.

POORAN'S JADEJA (1) - hindquarters raced on in the run to the bend. Crowded and had to check entering the bend losing ground and causing an inconvenience to HOMEBUSH RIEKO ad OPAWA GRAVEL. MAKING NEWS (3) - forced down the track in the run to the bend onto POORAN'S JADEJA. GOLDSTAR ROYAL (4) - crowded early stages. HOMEBUSH RIEKO (5) - shifted down the track early stages placing GOLDSTAR ROYAL in restricted room before forcing MAKING NEWS down onto POORAN'S JADEJA. Inconvenienced entering the bend. OPAWA GRAVEL (6) - checked entering the bend racing on the hindquarters of MITCHAM GINNY. MITCHAM GINNY (8) - hindquarters raced on rounding the bend for some distance. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
