HILTON JONESY (4) - contacted MISS ADOBE early stages. LAUTREC (5) - pushed wide by CULVIE DOLE on bend. Tightened by MITCHAM KING final turn losing ground. ANGRY PETE (6) - ran inwards into bend contacting HORSE RANGE GOLD and was dragged down for a stride. CULVIE DOLE (7) - began awkwardly settling back. Race 8	Active Electrical Christchurch Sprint - C5 - 295	NEVADA PHIL (1) - ran outwards back straight pushing HILTON HOPE up the track. Raced wide final turn. HILTON HOPE (2) - pushed up the track by NEVADA PHIL back straight then badly checked by STARBURST GEORGE losing ground. Tightened into bend losing more ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. DOUBLE SPEED (5) - last on jumping. Ran outwards into bend tightening HILTON HOPE. STARBURST GEORGE (7) - ran inwards back straight badly checking HILTON HOPE and dropped to a clear last. Assessed by vet and found to have a fractured metacarpal. Must complete Satisfactory Trial prior to resuming. MITCHAM USAIN (8) - ran inwards into bend tightening HILTON HOPE.
Race 9	Selwyn-Rakaia Vet Services Stakes - C4 - 520	CHROME (1) - ran outwards first turn contacting OPAWA SOLOMON. GOLDSTAR YANKEE (2) - tightened into first turn. OPAWA LUCY (3) - tightened into first turn losing ground. EPIC CRUZE (5) - last on jumping. Ran outwards first bend pushing OPAWA SOLOMON wider. OPAWA SOLOMON (7) - ran inwards into first turn tightening inside runners. Contacted and pushed wide by CHROME first turn then pushed wide again by EPIC CRUZE soon after. FOND OF YOU (8) - contacted by inside runners first turn.
Race 10	Hart Family Greyhound Racing Sprint - C5 - 295	AMURI BATMAN (1) - slow to jump and dropped to a clear last in the running. Assessed by vet and found to have a torn hip support. Must complete a Satisfactory Trial prior to resuming. ROYAL RACCOON (6) - slow to jump. EPIC DIAMOND (7) - very slow to jump. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. GOLDSTAR FLORA (8) - got on heels of MAFFRA DAISY on bend. MAFFRA DAISY (9/5) - badly tightened into bend then dragged down by GOLDSTAR FLORA losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury.
