Judicial report: During the pre-race trials an incident occurred with a Greyhound trained by Mrs L Cole faltering, free of interference passing the 645 metre boxes and fracturing a hock. Stewards, along with Wanganui GRC board representative Mr. G Fredrickson and Mr. N Rugg (GRNZ track curator) inspected the area of concern which was inconsistent and shifty and decided to abandon the meeting with remedial action not able to be carried out in a timely manner.
