An inquiry was opened and adjourned into the actions of a handler after the dogs were caught at the conclusion of race 1.

Late scratching.

1) OPAWA NIP race 5 was a late scratching on vets advice.

Weight infringement.

BIG TIME JARRED ( Agent/ Williams ) was presented to race 1.7kgs up from his last start- this is the fourth offence in less than 120 days .
An information has been signed and forwarded to the Adjudicative Committee for consideration

Trials.

1( SMALL PAIGE ( race 2 ) is required to complete a solo trial before being eligible to nominate.

2) CANYA MONEYMAKER ( race 5 ) is required to complete a solo trial before being eligible to nominate.

Race 1	Follow Auckland GRC on Facebook Sprint - C0 - 318	HARDCORE PIG (2) - soon after the start he angled outwards hampering SMASH MISFIT for a few strides. Settled in the midfield weakened in the run to the line. SMASH MISFIT (3) - hampered racing from the start as HARDCORE PIG shifted ground. XENA POPPY (4) - angled across from the jump and jostled with SMASH MISFIT for a couple of strides becoming unbalanced going back to the rear. ON YOUR BIKE (5) - dwelt at the jump. Ran wide nearing the home turn and to the line. YOU'RE A REBEL (8) - fav- raced wide covering extra ground in the running to the line.
Race 2	Carol's TAB Taipa Tavern Sprint - C1 - 318	FORD MAN (1) - came together with BIG TIME JARRED for some strides in the run to the bend as he attempted to push outwards. BIG TIME JARRED (2) - hampered for some distance in the run towards the bend as FORD MAN attempted to push outwards. SMALL PAIGE (4) - led out in the early running. Contact into the bend and faltered going back to the rear unable to make ground thereafter. Referred to the vet and was found to have a torn gracilis muscle left hind a 42 day stand down was recommended. This dog will be required to complete a solo trial before being eligible to nominate. FOR YOU PAGE (5) - fav- slow away. Soon improved to race handy finished best to the line. OPAWA ROY (6) - came together with SMASH ZONE as he came off the mats. He was the tightened and jostled between runners then jostled with SMASH ZONE for some strides as he attempted to push outwards in the run to the bend. SMASH ZONE (7) - came together with OPAWA ROY as she came off the mats. She was then hampered for some strides as OPAWA ROY attempted to push outwards in the run to the bend .
Race 3	Trophies Plus Sprint - C0 - 318	ALLEGRO JORDAN (4) - in the run to the bend he angled out to avoid heels coming together and jostling with TREVOR for a few strides. GRUMPY JOCK (5) - soon after the start he angled across contacting the hind of TREVOR. Soon after entering the bend he was hampered again losing momentum when attempting to clear the hind of TREVOR . ZOE STAR (6) - appeared to be uncomfortable in her galloping action in the latter stages and was referred to the vet where she was found to have cramped. She recovered quickly and was cleared by the vet . TREVOR (7) - soon after the start he angled across the line of GRUMPY JOCK who caught his hindquarters .Racing into the bend he was unbalanced as ALLEGRO JORDAN came out away from heels pushing him back out across the line of GRUMPY JOCK. PACHINKO (8) - caught heels and became unbalanced entering the bend and was forced to race wide around the bend as ALLEGRO JORDAN angled wide.
Race 4	Pump & Engineering Services Ltd Stakes - C1 - 527	OPAWA CAMERON (2) - went up in the boxes as the lids lifted and was slow into stride. Checked in the run around the first turn as runners tightened inwards. ALL UNITE (5) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the first bend. Soon after he was tightened and jostled between runners and checked back losing momentum and ground . He was unable to improve to the line and was referred to the vet and cleared of injury. HOMEBUSH LUTHER (6) - dwelt at the jump and was then hampered as runners crossed his line. Racing around the first turn he angled tightening in onto ALL UNITE and then in across his line.
Race 5	Hewlett Electrical Sprint - C4 - 318	COOLIBAH KID (1) - drifted outwards into the home straight coming together with BASELINE for a stride or so. BASELINE (2) - improving on the outer of COOLIBAH KID into the home straight coming together for a stride or so. CANYA MONEYMAKER (4) - led out in the early stages and soon after he lost ground back through the field finishing in the rear at the line. Referred to the vet and was found to have a torn gracilis muscle left hind with a 42 day stand down recommended. This dog is required to complete a solo trial before being eligible to be nominated. HOT LITTLE NANCY (7) - tightened and checked into the bend catching heels and stumbling losing momentum and ground. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
Race 6	MPS Fencing Sprint - C2 - 318	NIGHT ACE (6) - angled inwards from the jump across onto LUCY MIRKO . Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend checking outwards coming together with FULL OF SECRETS going out towards the outer of the track losing all chance from there. FULL OF SECRETS (9/7) - Angled into the bend and was bumped and checked as NIGHT ACE checked outwards forcing this runner towards the outer of the track losing all chance thereafter.
Race 7	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Sprint - C1 - 318	SADOWSKI (1) - from the jump she attempted to force her way outwards causing tightening and checks to several runners in the early stages. She lost momentum and ground back to the rear entering the bend ALLEGRO LEXXI (2) - racing from the start she was tightened and checked as HOMEBUSH BRAVE angled inwards and SADOWSKI pushed outwards on her inner She was jostled for some strides going back and jostling with NOISE MAKER entering the bend.. HOMEBUSH BRAVE (3) - angled inwards from the jump coming together with ALLEGRO LEXXI jostling for some strides as SADOWSKI pushed outwards from the inner compounding the tightening and jostling. He was checked back losing his position as they entered the bend. NOISE MAKER (6) - attempted to angle into the bend coming together with ALLEGRO LEXXI for a couple of strides then checked wide off heels into the bend.
Race 8	Terminating Pick6 Stakes - C2 - 527	NANA MOLLY (1) - hampered in the run around the first turn as KEA VIKING attempted to angle to the rail. KEA VIKING (3) - crowded between runners in the run around the first turn going back onto following runner. hampered when tightened on the home turn going back onto following runner. OPAWA NIGEL (5) - jostled between runners in the early stages. Crowded between runners into the bend and checked becoming awkwardly placed for a couple of strides losing ground. he was checked again in the run around the first turn as BLACK MAVIS improved around his outer causing him to check out on to MARGUAX. MARGAUX (6) - angled inwards from the jump tightening runners to her inner for some strides. Checked in the run around the first turn as OPAWA NIGEL was checked outwards onto her. She lost momentum and ground back to the rear and was checked again on the home turn when running onto heels. BLACK MAVIS (8) - angled inwards entering the first turn tightening in onto MARGUAX and in onto OPAWA NIGEL as she improved past them. OPAWA TRUMP (9/4) - tightened and jostled going back from between runners in the early stages. Crowded between runners soon after entering the first turn running into the hind of KEA VIKING checking OPAWA NIGEL to the outer. Angled inwards on the home turn tightening KEA VIKING for a few strides .Referred to the vet and was found to have a small laceration on top of left hind foot. A 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 9	Qualified Pet Services Sprint - C5 - 318	PAPA SMURF (2) - came together with JUST AS MUCH racing from the start. Jostled and tightened and checked entering the bend. Hampered for a couple of strides on the home turn when tightened . JUST AS MUCH (3) - came together with PAPA SMURF racing from the start and jostled for some strides then checked into the bend as CANADIAN ACE angled across her line. CANADIAN ACE (4) - angled in across heels entering the bend cutting in across the line of JUST AS MUCH contacting this runner and went sideways being dragged down and checking outwards abruptly onto STARLIGHT RIA. He lost all chance thereafter and was referred to the vet and cleared of injury. STARLIGHT RIA (7) - angling across towards the bend when bumped inwards catching the hind of CANADIAN ACE and was checked being run out wide losing all chance thereafter. WILD KIWI (8) - angled across in the run to the bend bumping STARLIGHT RIA . Angled inwards on the home turn tightening in onto PAPA SMURF for a couple of strides.-
Race 10	Jo's Wholesale & Sports Bar Taipa Tavern Sprint - C2/3 - 318	BELMONTS (1) - led into the bend and was tightened as WHEELS ON FIRE improving around his outer angled inwards causing him to check and lose a couple of lengths. Contact with UP YOUR QUOTA on the home turn as this runner angled inwards. OUR HEMI (2) - In the run towards the bend she was hampered as WHEELS ON FIRE angled in across her line. hampered in the run onto the top bend as PORTLAND ART ANGLED IN ONTO HER. RUBY EXPRESS (3) - hampered racing from the start as runners came across. WHEELS ON FIRE (4) - angled inwards from the jump checking RUBY EXPRESS back. UP YOUR QUOTA (5) - angled into the bend and was checked and was awkwardly placed for a few strides. as PORTLAND ART caught his hindquarters. Angled inwards onto BELMONTS racing into the home straight. THRILLING HUDSON (6) - checked back off heels contacting OUR HEMI racing into the bend. MOANY MALONEY (7) - angled outwards entering the bend racing wide. PORTLAND ART (8) - angled across entering the bend catching the hind of UP YOUR QUOTA and became awkwardly placed for some strides when clearing this runners heels.
Race 11	Mt Wellington TAB Stakes - C2/3 - 527	ROD'S GIRL (2) - crowded towards the inner for some strides entering the first turn and recovered well to hold a position. SMOOTHIE (3) - crowded between runners entering the first turn being tightened between runners and checked losing ground as BIGTIME ALFIE lay inwards for some strides. OPAWA LIGHTNING (4) - racing from the start she attempted to angle outwards going across the face of DOBBY WHO and BIGTIME ALFIE and was pushed back inwards as OPAWA SLICK angled across on her outer. Dictated inwards into the first turn as OPAWA SLICK attempted to angle inwards jostling with this runner for some strides. DOBBY WHO (5) - checked soon after the start as OPAWA LIGHTENING angled out across his line. BIGTIME ALFIE (6) - checked soon after the start as OPWA LIGHTENING angled out across his line. Entering the first turn he was pushed sideways as he attempted to angle inwards coming together with SMOOTHIE, causing him to stumble as MAYHEM MADE improving around his outer caught a heel. He lost momentum and ground . Referred to the vet and was cleared of injury. OPAWA SLICK (7) - angled across into the bend in the run into the first turn dictating the line of and jostling with OPAWA LIGHTENING for some strides. MAYHEM MADE (8) - checked in the run around the first bend when forced to abruptly check out over heels.
Race 12	New Zealand Sires Produce Stakes 25 July - C2/3 - 318	ASHEN (1) - angled outwards in the run to the bend dictating the line of YASAWA LIGHTS and ZIPPING SAINT. CHIPPER'S CHOICE (2) - began awkwardly and settled back in the early running. COSMIC METEOR (3) - checked soon after the start. Forced to check off heels entering the bend racing widest thereafter to the line. BIGTIME HONEY (4) - angled outwards from the jump across the line of COSMIC METEOR. Contact in the hindquarters into the bend as FERNANDO CHARM angled inwards. YASAWA LIGHTS (5) - racing between runners when tightened and checked back entering the bend losing some ground and momentum. ZIPPING SAINT (6) - vying for the lead entering the bend when angling inwards tightening and checking YASAWA LIGHTS. FERNANDO CHARM (7) - contact with COSMIC METEOR in the run towards the bend and was dictated wider into the bend for several strides. Hampered in the run onto the top bend when clearing heels. PORTLAND ECKLUND (8) - angled inwards between runners entering the bend hampering BIGTIME HONEY for a stride or so.
Race 13	Sportsbowl Function Centre Sprint - C1 - 318	DRAGSTER DORY (1) - began awkwardly for a stride or so. Soon after she angled out between runners and was forced to abruptly check out off heels entering the bend running into HARDCORE BART and almost fell running wide as she balanced up tangling with HARDCORE BART to her outer for some distance in the run around the bend finishing towards the rear at the line. Referred to the vet and was cleared of injury. HARDCORE BART (3) - dwelt at the jump and was bumped as he went out onto BLACK BRIDGE. Soon after he angled out between runners checking BLACK BRIDGE was then checked outwards as DRAGSTER DORY checked outwards tangling with this runner for some distance in the run towards the home turn. He finished towards the rear at the line and was referred to the vet and was cleared of injury. BLACK BRIDGE (5) - bumped with HARDCORE BART racing from the start . He was checked in the run to the bend as HARDCORE BART checked out off between runners OPAWA DI (8) - slow into stride. Angled inwards and became unbalanced on entering the bend losing momentum and ground.
