MEETING ABANDONED - After race 8

The lure broke down on the first bend of race 8 (527 metre race). All runners were checked by the Veterinarian and cleared of injury with the exception of FEDERER which was found to have split webbing. After reviewing the footage and consultation with the Veterinarian it was decided not to rerun this event. Track staff located a break in the rail and attempted remedial work although were unable to rectify the issue the remainder of the meeting was abandoned.

GENERAL:

1). The Racing Integrity Board has received an Appeal from Licensed Starter Mr Daniel Laing in regards to the penalty imposed on him by the Adjudicative Committee dated 26th July 2021. Mr Laing also applied for a stay in proceedings in relation to his disqualification. The Appeals Tribunal granted Mr Laing a partial Stay of Proceedings with the condition being set that he not start any greyhound races.

BARNEY PARROT (3) - contact after the start then tightened and checked back straight. Shifted across heels then brushed the running rail first turn shifting out coming together with COOL FACES. MISS MOSS (4) - angled in back straight making contact. Contacted from behind first turn. GINGER MASCARA (5) - contact final bend shifting out across heels. COOL FACES (7) - slow away. Contact first turn and taken wider. BRANDI CHASER (8) - contact final bend.
Race 3	Jo's Wholesale & Sports Bar Taipa Tavern Sprint - C1 - 318	BIG TIME BOOTS (1) - muzzle briefly in lids start. Contact after the start losing ground. Contacted hindquarters first turn. HOMEBUSH BRAVE (2) - contact after the start. Tightened back straight having to steady. Contact final bend then checked shifting off heels losing ground. SPRING MECHANIC (3) - bumped after the start and dictated inwards. Placed in restricted room for a distance rounding the bend losing ground going back onto other runners. SMASH ZONE (4) - tightened making contact for a distance after the start losing ground. Contact first turn. Checked final bend making contact. ZOE STAR (5) - tightened between runners making contact after the start losing ground. Changed stride first turn becoming briefly unbalanced making contact. Jostled rounding the bend losing ground. BIGTIME CUTIE (6) - contact after the start. Checked rounding the bend getting taken wider. NIGHT ACE (7) - contact first turn. Jostled rounding the bend. OPAWA ROY (8) - raced wide in the straights.
Race 4	MPS Fencing Stakes - C1 - 527	BAD BRO BAD (1) - tightened and hampered first turn losing ground quickly. DARK HAZARD (2) - bumped after the start shifting wider. ALL UNITE (3) - bumped after the start. Contact racing toward the first turn and dictated inwards losing ground. Checked rounding the first turn. Checked leaving the back straight then jostled. SMOKIN' CHIMNEY (4) - tightened racing toward the first turn shifting in making contact. Contact first turn. THEA WHO (5) - tightened and hampered rounding the first turn losing ground. OPAWA TRUMP (6) - collided leaving the back straight. BIG TIME GINA (7) - tightened after the start losing ground. Shifted off heels first bend then collided. Jostled rounding the bend leaving the back straight. DADDY DONNY (8) - collided leaving the back straight.
Race 5	Hewlett Electrical Sprint - C3 - 318	RAILING RACCOON (1) - collided back straight. Tightened making contact first turn. Made the final bend awkwardly shifting wider getting on heels. AMMONITE (3) - slow away. Collided several occasions back straight and for a distance entering the first turn. BIG TIME FELIX (4) - Raced in restricted room for a distance rounding the bend. RUBY EXPRESS (5) - collided back straight and again first turn. Collided rounding the bend. HOUSE SURGEON (6) - began awkwardly losing ground. Collided several occasions back straight and for a distance first turn shifting wider losing ground. Collided rounding the bend. MEDUSA WHO (9/7) - dragged down entering the final straight becoming unbalanced losing ground.
Race 6	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Sprint - C1 - 318	ZIPPING PANTHER (1) - shifted out across heels rounding the bend making solid contact for a distance becoming unbalanced and falling. Veterinary examination revealed right hamstring pain with a 10 day stand down imposed. RAINY RIVER (2) - bumped back straight and again first turn. Badly hampered for a distance rounding the bend becoming unbalanced losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed pain in the left calf muscle with a 10 day stand down imposed. FORD MAN (3) - shifted out off heels back straight making contact. Bumped first turn shifting out onto AUDRETTE. Badly hampered for a distance rounding the bend becoming unbalanced losing ground. SMASH OUT (4) - taken wider back straight making contact. Collided final bend. BOOT CAMP TIARA (5) - collided final bend. AUDRETTE (6) - collided start and again first turn. Badly hampered for a distance rounding the bend becoming unbalanced losing ground. VEGAS CHOPS (7) - slow away. Shifted in off heels back straight. Held up for a distance rounding the bend losing ground. ALLEGRO ELLA (8) - collided start.
