Race 1	greyhoundtips.co.nz C0 - C0 - 410	BIG TIME LAD (1) - crowded entering the home straight needing to move across heels to gain clear racing room. HIGHVIEW SAMMY (2) - slow away. Raced wide through the back straight. Coursed wide nearing the home straight bumping then dictating the running line of FLASHBACK FRED. Raced wide through the early stages of the home straight. FLASHBACK FRED (4) - bumped at the start. Bumped nearing the home straight, then had running line dictated and obliged to race wide for a short distance. BLUE COD (5) - bumped FLASHBACK FRED at the start. FRECKLE (6) - slow away. Raced wide for the majority if the event, losing some ground in the process. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed pain over left distal thigh muscles, a 21 day stand down was recommended. THRILLING RAPPER (8) - angled across and crowded BIG TIME LAD entering the home straight.
Race 2	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C0 - C0 - 457	HIGHVIEW HOWARD (1) - tightened shortly after the start. THRILLING GRAY (2) - tightened HIGHVIEW HOWARD shortly after the start. SUPER GOLD (3) - began awkwardly. Bumped DANGEROUS EDGE entering the bend. Raced wide through the back and home straights. HIGHVIEW ANNA (4) - buffeted inwards shortly after the start. Jostled with BIG TIME ANDY nearing the bend. Raced wide through the latter stages of the home straight. JOAN JET (5) - slow away. Tightened entering the bend losing some momentum, then received contact losing ground. Tightened on the point of the bend. BIG TIME ANDY (6) - buffeted HIGHVEIW ANNA shortly after the start. Jostled with HIGHVIEW ANNA nearing the bend. DANGEROUS EDGE (7) - began awkwardly. Tightened JOAN JET entering the bend, then received a bump. DELPHI'S ACE (8) - raced wide through the back straight. Contacted JOAN JET entering the bend. Tightened JOAN JET on the point of the bend.
Race 3	Paul Claridge Electrical C1 - C1 - 410	HIGHVIEW SPUD (1) - raced in restricted room nearing and entering the bend. Tightened nearing the home straight losing ground and heavily bumping EDISON. DONALBAIN (2) - contacted nearing the bend Crowded entering the bend losing ground, out of contention thereafter. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed pain over left hind gracilis muscle, a 14 day stand down was recommended. GEMMAS DILEMMA (3) - bumped shortly after the start then tightened nearing the bend, losing ground. Coursed wide entering the home straight. ARM TURNER (4) - bumped GEMMAS DILEMMA shortly after the start, then tightened that runner nearing the bend. OPAWA LYNDSAY (6) - began awkwardly. Tightened HIGHVIEW SPUD nearing the home straight. EDISON (7) - slow away. Contacted DONALBAIN nearing the bend. Heavily bumped nearing the home straight appearing to contact the rail and lose ground. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injury.
Race 4	Creative Catering C1 - C1 - 457	THRILLING RISK (2) - tightened nearing the bend contacting the rail. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. ALLEGRO RUBY (3) - awkwardly placed behind runners entering the bend. TUFF DYNAMO (4) - tightened shortly after the start, then bumped. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend needing to move up the track to gain clear racing room bumping ALLEGRO PIPPA in the process. Raced wide through the home straight. TUFF ADMIRAL (5) - tightened at the start then moved up the track to race wide for the majority of the event. BIG TIME CHERRY (6) - angled across the field at the start tightening runners to her inside. Tightened nearing the bend, in turn tightened THRILLING RISK. ALLEGRO PIPPA (7) - bumped TUFF DYNAMO shortly after the start. Bumped entering the bend. Raced wide through the home straight. BIG TIME RIDGE (8) - tightened BIG TIME CHERRY nearing the bend when crossing to the lead.
Race 5	PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C1/C2 - C1/2 - 410	KIKAU (2) - performed below market expectations in his first start since 30 June with trainer M Gowan advising Stewards that she expects KIKAU to derive benefit from today's race. A precautionary veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. HOMEBUSH FUDGE (4) - slow away. BIG TIME HARRY (7) - raced wide throughout. HOMEBUSH VASSY (8) - raced wide through the back straight.
Race 6	Bigtime Paddy at Stud C3 - C3 - 410	BIG TIME IZZY (1) - awkwardly placed one heels nearing the home straight. Shouldered BIG TIME SPOT nearing the winning post. BIG TIME PAISLEY (5) - bumped BIG TIME SPOT nearing the home straight. BIG TIME SPOT (6) - bumped nearing the home straight. Shouldered BIG TIME IZZY nearing the winning post. BIG TIME VEGAS (7) - slow away. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend and again nearing the home straight, losing ground. Raced wide through the home straight. FREE THINKER (8) - began slightly awkwardly. Raced wide for the majority of the event. Appeared awkward in his action throughout. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed a hock sprain to the left hind, a 21 day stand down was recommended.
Race 7	Total Bodyshop Supplies C2 - C2 - 410	SUMMER GLEE (2) - boxed first. GAZZA'S GIRL (3) - crowded at the start. Moved up the track shortly after the start bumping POP FLASH. Raced wide for the majority of the event. POP FLASH (5) - went up with the lids settling at the rear of the field. Bumped shortly after the start. BIG TIME MAY (7) - coursed wide entering the home straight.
Race 8	Big Barrel Palmerston North C2/C3 - C2/3 - 457	BIG TIME DORY (1) - contacted TEKKI JIM from behind nearing the home straight. POWER BOOM (3) - moved up the track shortly after the start bumping BROKE BRAD. BROKE BRAD (5) - bumped shortly after the start. BIG TIME ELSA (6) - raced wide at various stages throughout. TEKKI JIM (7) - brushed BIG TIME RITA at the start. Contacted from behind nearing the home straight. Raced wide at various stages throughout. BIG TIME RITA (8) - brushed TEKKI JIM at the start.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C4/C5 - C4/5 - 410	THRILLING MURPHY (1) - bumped TRUTH HURTS shortly after the start. Brushed CUMBRIA LAD nearing the home straight becoming slightly unbalanced and moving up the track. Raced wide through the home straight. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injury. CUMBRIA LAD (2) - brushed TRUTH HURTS at the start. Brushed THRILLING MURPHY nearing the home straight. TRUTH HURTS (3) - brushed CUMBRIA LAD at the start. Bumped shortly after the start. SO EXCITED (5) - began awkwardly brushing BIGTIME BRODY at the start. Switched across heels shortly after the start to gain clear racing room. BIGTIME BRODY (6) - brushed SO EXCITED at the start. Moved up the track shortly after the start dictating the running line of BIG TIME DOMINO. Contacted from behind entering the bend. BIG TIME DOMINO (8) - had running line dictated shortly after the start and obliged to continue to race wide for a distance through the back straight. Contacted BIGTIME BRODY from behind entering the bend.
