1). This meeting was run under Covid-19 Level 3 protocols.

2). Due to this meeting be moved from Tuesday the 31st August 2021 Stewards validated scratchings for trainers who wished to scratch for this reason.

GITAN (3) - eased and shifted up the track rounding the final bend dictating CLAWS IN MARVEL wide. Checked off this runners heels prior to exiting the bend. Marred this runner in the run home. Stood down for 3 months for Marring and pending a satisfactory trial. Connections advised the bitch would be retired. CLAWS IN MARVEL (6) - dictated wide rounding the final bend before being marred from the outside in the run to the bend. HOMEBUSH FONZIE (8) - lost momentum when placed on heels rounding the first bend.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Garry Cleeve Dash - C1 - 295	CASH NO STASH (1) - checked off heels in the run to the bend. Checked entering the bend losing ground. GOLDEN KIWI (2) - began awkwardly before being forced down the track losing ground. COFFEE BISCUIT (3) - forced down onto GOLDEN KIWI early stages. Crowded and lost momentum entering the bend. Checked off heels exiting the bend. JUST STAGGER (4) - shifted down the track early stages forcing COFFEE BISCUIT down onto GOLDEN KIWI.
Race 3	Garrard's Horse & Hound Stakes - C1 - 520	UNCLE FRANK (2) - checked off heels first bend checking VAYDEN BALE before being dragged down by GOLDSTAR VALE losing its chance. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. OHOKA MEGAN (3) - lost its footing briefly when leaving the mat. VAYDEN BALE (4) - began awkwardly. Crowded and had to check entering the first bend. OPAWA ROD (7) - checked off heels and coursed wide entering the first bend. GOLDSTAR VALE (8) - climbed on the heels of UNCLE FRANK first bend losing its chance. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
Race 4	mayhounds.org.nz Rehoming Group Dash - C1 - 295	IMPRESSIVE HIGH (2) - shifted up the track entering the bend hampering SEA SPRAY ASH. SEA SPRAY ASH (3) - lost ground when awkwardly placed to the outside of IMPRESSIVE HIGH entering the bend. GOLDSTAR DAWSON (4) - slow early. CHICAGO HEAD (6) - crowded and obligated to check off heels early stages. Made contact with the running rail entering the bend losing momentum. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
Race 5	Flair Bitches Feature - C1 - 520	OPAWA RUBY (1) - jostled briefly with OPAWA GINA first bend. Lost ground with the field final bend hampering ADOBE FOX. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have torn its right triceps muscle with a 42-day incapacitation issued. Must trial prior to resuming. SMASH DEVIL (2) - crowded before being obligated to check off heels in the run to the first bend. ADOBE FOX (3) - slow to jump. Hampered final bend. ADOBE SLICE (6) - contacted from the outside by OPAWA GINA early stages. Dragged down entering the first bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. OPAWA GINA (7) - collided with ADOBE SLICE early stages. Jostled briefly with OPAWA RUBY first bend. Hampered entering the final bend. FEAR ALL POUNAMU (9/4) - held up final bend.
Race 6	Balcairn Stockfoods & CopRice Dog Food Dash - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH JET (3) - collided with HOMEBUSH SIRIUS in the run to the finish. PASCALE JEWEL (4) - jostled with HOMEBUSH SIRIUS exiting the bend. GOLDSTAR JOURNEY (5) - slow early and throughout the run to the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Performance noted. DIAMOND ROSETTE (6) - crowded rounding the bend losing ground. KING KONG BLONDE (7) - hampered from the outside on jumping by HOMEBUSH SIRUS. Coursed wide rounding the bend. HOMEBUSH SIRIUS (8) - shifted inwards on jumping becoming awkwardly positioned to the outside of KING KONG BLONDE. Jostled with PASCALE JEWEL exiting the bend. Collided with HOMEBUSH JET in the run to the finish.
Race 7	Swimming Goat At Stud Dash - C1 - 295	SOZIN'S QUEEN (4) - jostled briefly with ANGRY PETE in the run to the bend. GOLDSTAR JUSTICE (5) - crowded and had to check rounding the bend causing an inconvenience to ANGRY PETE. HOMEBUSH HERO (6) - slow early. ANGRY PETE (7) - jostled briefly in the run to the bend with SOZIN'S QUEEN. Hampered rounding the bend. IMPRESSIVE AMY (8) - slow early.
Race 8	Waihemo Lodge Distance - C1d - 645	CLAWS IN LEO (5) - jostled with MY CURLY first turn before being crowded and losing ground. TOMFOOLERY (6) - slow to jump. MY CURLY (7) - jostled with CLAWS IN LEO first turn. NIGHTHAWK WISH (9/4) - shifted off heels entering the home straight on the first occasion.
Race 9	Happy Birthday Michael May Dash - C1 - 295	AMURI RURU (1) - placed in restricted room and had to check entering the bend losing ground. HOMEBUSH ROXY (2) - crowded and shifted off the heels of HOMEBUSH COMET in the run to the bend losing ground. MITCHAM DAWN (5) - coursed wide rounding the bend.
Race 10	Culvie Boy's Syndicate Sprint - C1 - 295	MULBERRY SOX (1) - came up with the lid and was slow to jump. Checked off heels prior to exiting the bend. HOMEBUSH PEACH (3) - checked inwards off heels in the run to the bend. TROUBLESOME KAZA (5) - slow to jump after it muzzle became dislodged in the boxes.
Race 11	Springston Hotel Dash - C1 - 295	GOLDSTAR MONROE (1) - shouldered with JIMMY BEER on jumping. JIMMY BEER (2) - shouldered with GOLDSTAR MONROE on jumping MITCHAM MANERING (3) - became awkward in its gallop rounding the bend losing ground, referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have pain to its sacral vertebrae with a 21 day incapacitation issued. BEAUDEN JOHN (5) - jostled with HOMEBUSH MACHO in the run to the bend. Checked from behind entering the bend. HOMEBUSH MACHO (6) - jostled with BEAUDEN JOHN in the run to the bend. AMURI JOSIE (7) - raced on the hindquarters of BEAUDEN JOHN entering the bend becoming unbalanced and falling to the track. Referred to the Veterinarian with a precautionary 5 day stand down imposed.
Race 12	Selwyn-Rakaia Vet Services Stakes - C2 - 520	MEATLOAF (2) - crowded entering the first bend checking outwards off heels. VAN IVAN (4) - lost its footing when coming of the mat. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the first bend. GOLDSTAR DEVON (8) - checked from behind entering the first bend.
