This meeting was run under Level 2 Government restrictions and Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid-19 protocols.

Satisfactory Trials:

1). TYPHOON TIM (L Cole) - completed and now eligible to race.

Stand Downs:

1). BIG TIME NALA (L Cole) - 10 days after being declared a late scratching form the Satisfactory Trial with a Laceration between digits on its left hind foot.

General:

1). Trainer C Morris was spoken to and reminded of his obligations when racing greyhounds under GRNZ's level 2 protocols.

2). Starter T McCracken was spoken to and reminded that it is expected that his face mask be worn at all times when required under GRNZ's level 2 protocols.

EXPRESS WAY (3) - heavily contacted from the outside early stages by OSCAR'S REALITY. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend. JUMP ELLE (5) - slow early. OSCAR'S REALITY (7) - shifted down the track abruptly early stages colliding heavily with EXPRESS WAY. Awkwardly positioned on the shoulder of BIG TIME AMERICA entering the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian however due to a communication breakdown was not presented. Stewards will follow up the recover of this greyhound in the coming days with with trainer Mrs Lincoln-Papuni.
Race 2	Greyhound As Pets C0 - C0 - 457	FLASHBACK FRED (1) - slow early. Jostled with ALLEGRO ROBBIE in the run to the bend. RIDGELINE ROCKER (4) - forced BIG TIME FABIO up the track early stages causing a check to JOAN JET. Shifted across heels approaching the bend. Coursed wide throughout the run home. BIG TIME FABIO (5) - contacted and forced up the track early stages checking JOAN JET as a consequence. ALLEGRO ROBBIE (6) - slow early. Contacted from the outside by JOAN JET early stages before jostling with FLASHBACK FRED in the run to the bend. JOAN JET (8) - checked early stages losing its balance and shifting down the track onto ALLEGRO ROBBIE.
Race 3	TAB No Deposit Fees C1 - C1 - 457	STAY CONNECTED (2) - shouldered with BIG TIME RYDER in the run to the bend. BIG TIME RYDER (3) - shouldered with STAY CONNECTED in the run to the bend. IN THE CLINCH (5) - checked and lost its balance entering the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. BIG TIME FLAME (6) - bumped with BIG TIME CHERRY early stages. Came together with BIG TIME DORY exiting the bend. BIG TIME DORY (7) - came together with BIG TIME FLAME exiting the bend. BIG TIME CHERRY (8) - bumped with BIG TIME FLAME early stages.
Race 4	J P Print, Petone C1/C2 - C1/2 - 457	HOMEBUSH FUDGE (1) - slow early. Failed to be competitive thereafter. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stewards questioned the performance of this runner with Kennel Representative Ms S Stone. Ms Stone advised the greyhound was having it's first start back from a break and that she had been happy with its work leading up to todays assignment. Ms Stone added that she expected HOMEBUSH FUDGE to derive benefit from todays outing and produce a more forward showing at its next start. Stewards noted the comments. BIG TIME RIDGE (4) - shouldered down the track onto BIG TIME MASON by CRISPY CHICKEN shortly after jumping. CRISPY CHICKEN (5) - shouldered with BIG TIME RIDGE early stages.
Race 5	Formpro Ratings Free Every Friday C3 - C3 - 457	BROKE BRAD (2) - jostled with BIG TIME BRYNN in the run to the bend. Obligated to check off this runners heels approaching the bend. THRILLING MAPLE (4) - awkwardly placed to the inside of BIGTIME BRYNN in the early stages. Coursed wide throughout the run home. BIG TIME REWARD (5) - slow early. ALLEGRO KAIRO (7) - crowded early stages being obligated to race on the hindquarters of BIG TIME BRYNN. Hindquarters raced on approaching the bend. BIG TIME BRYNN (8) - hindquarters raced on early stages when crowding ALLEGRO KAIRO. Crowded THRILLING MAPLE when continuing to shift down the track being turn outwards as a consequence. Jostled with BROKE BRAD through he run to the bend thereafter. Raced on the hind quarters of ALLEGRO KAIRO approaching the bend.
Race 6	Big Barrel Palmerston North C4/C5 - C4/5 - 457	BIG TIME BABY (4) - lost momentum when placed on heels entering the bend. CUMBRIA LAD (5) - shouldered with BIG TIME PANDA early stages losing ground. Lost further ground when awkwardly positioned between runners entering the bend. BIG TIME RIPPER (6) - placed in restricted room and forced across the heels of CUMBRIA LAD early stages. BIG TIME PANDA (7) - shifted down the track on jumping forcing BIG TIME RIPPER into restricted room and across the heels of CUMBRIA LAD. Shouldered with CUMBRIA LAD soon after
Race 7	Allegro Gun At Stud C1 - C1 - 410	MR FARENHEIT (2) - hindquarters raced on when placing DILLER in restricted room early stages. Crowded and clipped the heels of ALLEGRO MOSE entering the bend losing ground. HOMEBUSH SHOWOFF (3) - slow early. DILLER (4) - raced in restricted room early stages. ALLEGRO MOSES (5) - hindquarters raced on when placing DILLER in restricted room early stages. Crowded MR FARENHEIT entering the bend having heels clipped as a consequence. BIG TIME POKEMON (8) - slow early.
Race 8	Paul Claridge Electrical C1 - C1 - 410	SUMMER GLEE (2) - boxed first. Held up rounding the bend. JACK MARJEN (8) - stood down for 7 days after presenting tight on an upper gracilis and calf muscle.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C1 - C1 - 410	ALLEGRO ZAC (1) - began awkwardly losing ground. Positioned on heels entering the bend having to check. DOUBLE QUEENIE (6) - weakened approaching the home straight. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stewards questioned the performance of this runner with Kennel Representative Ms S Stone. Ms Stone advised the greyhound was having it's first start back from an extended break and that she had been happy with its work leading up to todays assignment. Ms Stone added that they had intentionally put some weight on the greyhound and she expected to derive benefit from todays outing. Ms Stone further added that DOUBLE QUEENIE may take some time to get used to racing at Palmerston North as opposed to her regular racing at Wanganui. Stewards noted the comments.
Race 10	Total Bodyshop Supplies C5 - C5 - 410	BEES AND BIRDS (1) - placed in restricted room entering the bend having to check. BIG TIME FUZZ (3) - awkwardly positioned to the inside of BIG TIME ANGEL entering the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. BIG TIME ANGEL (4) - checked and lost ground entering the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. PORTELLI PUNK (5) - slow early. Positioned on heels entering the bend having to check and lose momentum. SO EXCITED (6) - contacted from the outside by BIG TIME BRODY initial stages. BIGTIME BRODY (8) - shifted down the track in the initial stages crowding ALLEGRO RYLEE before contacting SO EXCITED. ALLEGRO RYLEE (9/7) - slow early before being crowded.
Race 11	Speed Legend at Stud C2 - C2 - 410	ELSA BLUEBLOOD (2) - weakened rounding the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stewards questioned the performance of this runner with Kennel Representative Ms S Stone. Ms Stone advised the greyhound was having it's first start back from a break and that she had been happy with its work leading up to todays assignment. Ms Stone added that ELSA BLUEBLOOD has raced the majority of her races at Wanganui and that she expected the bitch to derive benefit from todays outing and produce a more forward showing at its next start. Stewards noted the comments. VAN IVAN (5) - last on jumping. Referred to the Veterinarian by connections where it was reported to have mild soreness to its right gracilis and be slightly dehydrated with a 7 day incapacitation issued. JOHNY MOWHAWK (6) - placed in restricted room approaching the bend before checking outwards off heels. YESENIA (7) - lost momentum when awkwardly positioned between runners entering the bend. TRUTH HURTS (8) - lost ground when awkwardly positioned to the outside of YESENIA entering the bend.
Race 12	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C2 - C2 - 410	PORCELAIN PANDA (2) - hindquarters raced on by BIG TIME YONKERS in the initial stages. Jostled with AL'S LOADED approaching the bend. BIG TIME YONKERS (3) - raced in restricted room initial stages. AL'S LOADED (4) - hindquarters raced on by BIG TIME YONKERS in the initial stages. Jostled with PORCELAIN PANDA approaching the bend. BUTTER CHURN (6) - turned inwards when racing to the inside of HOMEBUSH MAYCEE in the run to the bend. HOMEBUSH MAYCEE (7) - obligated to race on the hindquarters of BUTTER CHURN in the run to the bend losing momentum. Checked entering the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.

Race 14	TAB No Deposit Fees C3/C4 - C3/4 - 410	WEBBER COME (1) - crowded rounding the bend losing ground. BIG TIME ZINGER (4) - weakened in the run home. Performance noted. SCREAMING VIKING (6) - awkwardly positioned on heels initial stages skying its head and losing momentum. ENTREE ONLY (8) - shifted down the track initial stages being checked from behind by SCREAMING VIKING.
