This meeting was closed to the public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid-19 Level 3 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid-19 protocols.

General:

1). Trainer N P Green was reminded of his obligations under the Level 3 Protocols when racing his Greyhounds at this venue.

Race 2	Yvette Bodiam Photography Sprint - C1 - 375	SADOWSKI (1) - shouldered from the outside nearing the finish line. ZOE STAR (2) - became awkward in its gait upon entry to the final straight losing ground rapidly. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have cramped with a 5 day incapacitation issued as per cramping policy. RUBY EXPRESS (5) - shouldered outside runner early stages. Shouldered inside runner nearing the finish line. BIG TIME LAD (6) - shouldered inside runner early stages. Coursed wide rounding the bend. HARDCORE LISA (7) - slow early.

Awkwardly placed on heels checking inwards in the run to the bend. THRILLING SNIPER (5) - jostled with inside runner early stages. DUBLIN EXPRESS (8) - slow early.

Race 7	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Sprint - C1 - 375	OPAWA BARRY (1) - slow early. Obligated to check off heels entering the bend. Shouldered with inside runner exiting the bend. BIGTIME HONEY (2) - raced in restricted room entering the bend. HARDCORE BART (5) - awkwardly positioned on heels early stages. AUDRETTE (6) - placed in restricted room entering the bend having to check and lose ground. GINGER MASCARA (7) - raced in restricted room entering the bend. Shouldered with outside runner exiting the bend.
Race 8	Farmlands Virkon Sprint - C3 - 375	BELMONTS (3) - shouldered with outside runner exiting the bend. BORN KATIE (4) - began awkwardly before racing on heels MADE A WISH (5) - crowded approaching the bend. MARRAY PRINCE (6) - lost momentum when awkwardly placed to the outside of runners rounding the bend. Shouldered with inside runner exiting the bend.
Race 9	Garrards Horse & Hound Sprint - C2 - 375	MARGAUX (1) - slow early. DUBSTEP (2) - hindquarters raced on early stages. Lost ground when placed in restricted room entering the bend. OPAWA OLIVER (3) - slow early. MR BLACKJACK (4) - contacted hindquarters of inside runner early stages. DIAMOND TIGER (7) - slow early.
Race 10	CopRice Working Dog Beef Distance - C1/2d - 650	BORING (1) - crowded first turn. Jostled in the run to the finish before shifting off heels and losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian as a precaution and cleared of injury. SHELLY POM (4) - checked off heels entering the first bend. THRILLING AMELIA (8) - jostled in the run to the bend.
Race 11	CopRice Working Dog Chicken Sprint - C4 - 375	ALLEGRO RYLEE (3) - slow early. Weakened late in the run home. MY MATE SPEIGHT (4) - turned inwards early stages after hindquarters raced on. Shifted off heels prior to the finish line. THRILLING VIOLET (6) - collided with hindquarters early stages. THRILLING GEM (8) - crowded inside runners early stages.
Race 12	The Clubhouse Cambridge Sprint - C3 - 375	RAILING RACCOON (5) - placed in restricted room early stages checking outwards hampering outside runner. Coursed wide run home. ASHEN (6) - hindquarters raced on early stages. Coursed wide run home. NANA MOLLY (7) - raced on hindquarters early stages before being hampered and forced up the track. Held up bend.
Race 13	Pinny Mack at Stud Stakes - C1/2 - 457	LUCCA (3) - slow early shifting off heels. ABOUT TO DO (4) - hindquarters raced on early stages. JAM PACKED (5) - crowded and lost ground entering the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have sore triceps with a 10 day incapacitation issued. BIG TIME KOBE (6) - raced on hindquarters early stages. Placed on heels entering the bend. THRILLING LENNOX (8) - crowded inside runner entering the bend being checked as a result losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
Race 14	Vetora Cambridge Sprint - C5 - 375	PEACH MELBA (2) - crowded entering the bend. Faltered and lost ground rapidly rounding the bend. referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a fracture dislocation of its right hock with a 84 day incapacitation issued. Must trial prior to resuming. OPAWA COOPER (5) - lost ground after racing in restricted room entering the bend. Again raced in restricted room rounding the bend. MIDNIGHT FAITH (6) - shouldered with outside runner early stages. UNO ME NOW (7) - shouldered with inside runner early stages. Lost momentum when awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. OPAWA PHIL (8) - slow early.
