This meeting was run under Level 2 Government restrictions and Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid-19 protocols.

General:

1). All runners that qualified for the Suck It Up New Zealand Cup and The Fitz Sports Bar Galaxy Final were subjected to Veterinary examinations after providing urine samples.

Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a groin injury with a 21 day incapacitation issued.

All greyhounds were returned to the kennels and underwent a Veterinary examination declaring them all fit to start in the re-run. GOTCHA MURPHY (5) - slow early. NEVADA PHIL (6) - heels clipped from behind early stages. BEAU BEAU (7) - clipped heels and fell to the track early stages. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stood down for 5 days as a precaution.
