Supplementary report.

Palmerston North GRC meeting 10-11-2021.

1) Trainer C Brider advised the stewards that BIG TIME EILISH received a couple of minor spike scratches to a hind leg and that the dog had pulled up well apart from these.
2) The Cole kennels advised that BIG TIME CRUSADE has shown no signs of injury after being checked post race on Thursday.

Satisfactory trials required.

ALLEGRO QUEEN ( L Cole ) race 1.

BIG TIME HAUTU ( B Marsh ) race 3.

Injury trials required.

1) ALLEGRO ZAC ( L Cole ) race 8.

Race 1	greyhoundtips.co.nz C0 - C0 - 410	BIG TIME BEKIM (1) - awkwardly away for a stride or so. BOBBY DAZZLER (3) - checked at the start as BIG TIME ROLEX angled in onto his shoulder for a stride or so. BIG TIME ROLEX (4) - ran into the shoulder of BOBBY DAZZLER racing from the start then went back angling in sharply across heels to the rail. ALLEGRO QUEEN (5) - away well in the early stages. Contact and unbalanced for a stride or so entering the bend racing out wide going back to the rear and was unable to make ground thereafter to the line. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury and is required to complete a satisfactory trial for an unsatisfactory performance. ALLEGRO DRAKE (6) - angled into the bend contacting the hind of ALLEGRO QUEEN. LOST IN PACE (7) - angled out wide into the home straight racing extremely wide to the line. ADOBE BETTY (8) - in the back of the boxes as the lids lifted being last away by several lengths.
Race 2	J P Print, Petone C0 - C0 - 457	BIG TIME MASTER (2) - fav- hampered in the run towards the bend when tightened jostled by BIG TIME ROBBIE for some strides. BIG TIME TIARA (3) - checked at the start as BIG TIME PACKER angled in across her line pushing her inwards and she was unbalanced for a couple of strides. She went back angling outwards across heels bumping into BIG TIME DOUBLE. BIG TIME PACKER (4) - angled across the line of BIG TIME TIARA racing from the start jostling and pushing her inwards and was then checked as ALLEGRO ROBBIE cut in across his line. Checked into the bend as BIG TIME DOUBLE angled in across his line. ALLEGRO ROBBIE (6) - soon after the start he cut inwards sharply across the face of BIG TIME PACKER.
Race 3	$15,000 WF Massey Memorial 720m Distance Here Dec. 3rd C1/C2 - C1/2 - 457	BIG TIME REWARD (2) - fav- soon after the start he angled outwards between runners across the face of ADOBE PEBBLES into the bend where he contacted the hind of BIG TIME FLAME and stumbled for a stride. Ran wide looking to angle inwards soon after and was hampered as BIG TIME RYDER caught his hind. BIG TIME RYDER (3) - racing onto the top bend he ran onto the heels of ADOBE PEBBLES and checked going out over the hind of BIG TIME REWARD. Checked again on the home turn as angled out across heels. BIG TIME HAUTU (4) - jumped away well then became unbalanced dropping back and did not complete the race. Referred to the vet and found to have rectus femoris muscle pain. A 10 day stand down period was recommended. Due to the performance during the running a satisfactory trial has been imposed. BIG TIME FLAME (5) - contact on the hindquarters entering the bend. ADOBE PEBBLES (6) - hampered for a few strides in the run onto the top bend. UNCLE ALBERT (7) - went up in the boxes as the lids lifted. Forced to check back off heels in the run onto the top bend. He was angled out across heels into the home straight checking BIG TIME RYDER.
Race 4	Total Bodyshop Supplies C3/C4 - C3/4 - 457	RHODES WORTHY (1) - soon after the start he was hampered fror a couple of strides as DAPPER RAPPER was tightened in onto him. DAPPER RAPPER (2) - soon after the start he was checked and tightened inwards jostling with RHODES WORTHY for a few strides.
Race 5	$30,000 457m Wind Power Stakes Here Dec. 3rd. C5 - C5 - 457	BIG TIME PLUTO (3) - contacted in the hindquarters for a stride or so in the run onto the top bend. BIG TIME STUNNER (5) - racing from the start he was tightened and checked back from between runners losing momentum. He was forced to race widest into and around the bend when attempting to make ground. JILLIBY JAC (6) - racing from the start she was tightened and forced to check outwards across heels losing momentum. BIG TIME MAPLE (7) - contacted the hind of BIG TIME PLUTO in the run onto the top bend and lost ground.
Race 6	Creative Catering C1 - C1 - 410	BIG TIME CHERRY was a late scratching due to a seasonal complaint. OPAWA VIOLET (3) - bumped with JACK MARJEN racing from the start. JACK MARJEN (4) - bumped into OPAWA VIOLET racing from the start . MY BENTLEY (5) - began awkwardly from the jump. IDOL REIGN (6) - dictated wide in the run into and onto the top bend.
Race 7	Paul Claridge Electrical C1 - C1 - 410	SWEENEY TODD (3) - dictated outwards in the run towards the bend becoming awkwardly placed for a few strides into the bend. ALLEGRO MARS (4) - soon after the start he was contacted and hampered for a stride or so. He quickly recovered to lead to lead throughout. OPAWA JADE (5) - severely tightened and crowded racing from the start. THREE SHIRT DAY (6) - fav- severely tightened and crowded racing from the start. He recovered ground to chase the leader to the line BIG TIME JUICY (7) - cut across sharply from the jump causing severe tightening and crowding to several runners in the early stages. KIOSK (8) - bumped entering the bend as MOTHER'S TOUCH angled outwards. MOTHER'S TOUCH (9/1) - angled outwards into the bend bumping into KIOSK. She raced wide thereafter.
Race 8	Outback Trading Company C1/C2 - C1/2 - 410	PAVING WAY (1) - soon after the start he angled outwards dictating wider runners outwards for some strides. BORN TRIXIE (2) - ran outwards from the jump bumping into BIG TIME RITA. ALLEGRO ZAC (3) - fav- began awkwardly. Settled back and checked off heels on the top bend and was unable to get into contention thereafter. Referred to the vet and was found to be lame on the right fore with pain & swelling in wrist. Vet advised to have the dog x-rayed . A 42 day stand down was recommended with this dog required to complete an injury trial. . BIG TIME RITA (4) - bumped racing from the start as BORN TRIXIE angled outwards. RAPID RENEGADE (5) - checked and was unbalanced for a couple of strides entering the bend as MY KHLOE crossed his line. MILO TONIGHT (6) - began awkwardly and was slow away. MY KHLOE (7) - checked in the run towards the bend as PAVING WAY angled across her line. ALLEGRO MADDIE (8) - soon after the start she was bumped and pushed wider as runners to her inner changed ground.
Race 9	$15,000 Turbo Territory Dash Here Dec. 3rd. C5 - C5 - 410	BIG TIME ANGEL (2) - began awkwardly for a stride or so and was then jostled and soon after severely hampered for some strides as BIG TIME VERSACE checked inwards and lost momentum and ground back to the rear into the bend. BIG TIME VERSACE (3) - hampered racing from the start as BIGTIME BRODY angled across. She was forced to check inwards going in onto BIG TIME ANGEL severely hampering this runner for several strides. BIGTIME BRODY (4) - angled across soon after the start causing severe tightening to runners to his inner for some strides. SO EXCITED (5) - checked at the start as ENTREE ONLY ran inwards. ENTREE ONLY (6) - ran into the shoulder of SO EXCITED racing from the start and stumbled losing her initial momentum. going back to the rear. LIFE IS GOOD (7) - jostled with SO EXCITED nearing the bend then was tightened and checked as BIG TIME REBEL angled across from his outer. BIG TIME REBEL (8) - angled across into the bend and caused himself to be checked and run wide when coming together with LIFE IS GOOD.
Race 10	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C4/C5 - C4/5 - 410	BEES AND BIRDS (2) - fav- angled outwards soon after the start and was held in by SCREAMING VIKING for some strides being crowded for room to improve into the bend. WATERLOO PINK (3) - in the run towards the bend she was dictated outwards onto heels checking losing momentum and ran wide into the bend. SCREAMING VIKING (5) - hampered when contacted in the run to the bend where he became awkwardly placed for a few strides losing ground. BUTTER CHURN (6) - contact with BIG TIME LEBRON in the run into the bend. Forced to race wide around the bend and weakened in the run to the line. BIG TIME LEBRON (8) - came together and jostled with BUTTER CHURN for some strides into the bend and was forced to race wide into the home straight making good ground in the latter stages to the line.
Race 11	PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C2/C3 - C2/3 - 410	SO LIKE ME (4) - jostled with ZAMAH for a few strides in the run towards the bend and hampered again as runners came across into the bend. Bumped with OPAWA LYNDAY on the top bend and lost some ground. ZAMAH (5) - went up in the boxes as the lids lifted. Jostled with SO LIKE ME for a few strides then tightened between runners and hampered for a couple of strides into the bend. OPAWA LYNDSAY (6) - back in the boxes as the lids lifted and was slow away. Angled across into the bend striking the rail when tightened as runners tightened ahead. Bumped with SO LIKE ME on the top bend .Referred to the vet and found to have pain in his right hind sartorius muscle. A 7 day stand down period was recommended.
Race 12	Big Barrel Palmerston North C2/C3 - C2/3 - 410	JUST LIKE LUCY (1) - in the run towards she went to angle outwards and was bumped as BIG TIME SCOOTER came inwards jostling and bumping her then severely tightening across her line into the bend. BIG TIME SCOOTER (3) - in the run towards the bend he was dictated inwards and came together bumping and jostling with JUST LIKE LUCY for some strides and was further hampered when tightened in across the line of this runner into the bend. CRIMINAL JUSTICE (4) - bumped and jostled with BIG TIME SCOOTER in the run towards the bend then was tightened inwards into the bend and crowded losing ground as BIG TIME SPOT angled inwards. BIG TIME SPOT (5) - angled across from the jump dictating the line of CRIMINAL JUSTICE inwards for some strides. Crowded for room to improve in the run to the line. MR FARENHEIT (7) - fav- bumped into ALLEGRO PEACHES racing from the start. Soon after he was bumped and dictated inwards entering the bend then attempted to angle outwards and was checked as JUST LIKE LUCY came out on his inner , he was unbalanced for a stride or so losing momentum and ground and was unable to get into contention thereafter. ALLEGRO PEACHES (8) - bumped with MR FARENHEIT racing from the start then she angled across into the bend . In the run across the top bend she was hampered as MR FARENHEIT checked on her inner and ran wider at this point finishing in the rear at the line.
