Palmerston North GRC - 19 November 2021

1) Trainer G Hodgson reported to Stewards that CHIC IN TIME (race 7) had suffered a toe injury necessitating her scratching from the Palmerston North GRC meeting on 22 November 2021.
2) Trainer S Gommans advised Stewards that ADOBE TURTLE (race 9) was suffering some pain in the left wrist following the meeting.

ALLEGRO RUBY (4) - bumped at the start. BIG TIME NAVY (5) - began awkwardly bumping ALLEGRO RUBY at the start, then contacted BIG TIME MASTER. HIGHVIEW NESS (6) - crowded at the start, then moved up the track to race wide for the majority of the event. BIG TIME MASTER (7) - began awkwardly, crowding HIGHVIEW NESS at the start, then received contact becoming unbalanced and moving down the track contacting EDDIE EVEREST. Jostled with EDDIE EVEREST through the back straight before clearing that runner and contacting the rail entering the bend. Referred to the veterinarian and found to have pain over left gracilis with a 7 day stand down recommended.
Race 3	Speed Legend at Stud C0 - C0 - 410	BIG TIME MYSTIC (1) - tightened shortly after the start needing to check across heels to gain clear racing room, then squeezed runners to her outside. Heavily contacted from behind nearing the bend, being dragged down and losing ground. Referred to the veterinarian and cleared of injury. BIG TIME TESS (2) - tightened BIG TIME MYSTIC shortly after the start, then received a bump. Tightened entering the bend, losing some momentum. BIG TIME FAYE (3) - bumped BIG TIME TESS shortly after the start. Tightened BIG TIME TESS entering the bend. FEEL THE MADNESS (4) - squeezed between runners shortly after the start losing ground.
