SUPPLEMENTARY - Christchurch GRC 29 November Race 6

After reviewing films, Stewards determined the performance of GOLDSTAR LORENZO (R Evans) to be unsatisfactory with a Satisfactory Trial to be completed prior to resuming.

GENERAL:

GOLDSTAR ANTONIO (R Evans) was humanely euthanised after suffering a catastrophic injury during a Qualifying Trial.

SATISFACTORY TRIAL REQUIRED:

HOMEBUSH ROXY (J McInerney) - Unsatisfactory performance in Race 5.

WARNING:

MITCHAM GOLDIE (J McInerney) - Unsatisfactory performance in Race 7.

INJURY TRIAL REQUIRED:

MULBERRY ROCK (A Botherway)

Race 3	Garrard's Horse And Hound Stakes - C1 - 520	LOCKY BALBOA (1) - slow to jump. STUMPY BILL (3) - pushed down the track by CARLOS JEWEL in back straight. Contacted by OPAWA JANE final turn losing momentum. CARLOS JEWEL (4) - ran inwards back straight pushing STUMPY BILL down the track. GOLDSTAR BUTTERS (5) - slow to jump. MY GIOVANNI (6) - contacted by LENNY BEE into first turn losing ground. Continued to lose ground throughout the race finishing a distant last. Assessed by vet and found to have a hock strain with a 21 day stand down recommended. LENNY BEE (8) - ran inwards into first turn contacting MY GIOVANNI. Pushed wide first turn. OPAWA JANE (9/2) - contacted STUMPY BILL final turn.
Race 4	greyhoundauctions.co.nz Dash - C1 - 295	AGENT NAVABI (1) - ran wide final bend. CULVIE PUB (2) - tightened back straight and ran outwards in consequence. Badly hampered by AMURI JOSIE into bend losing ground. AMURI JOSIE (4) - dragged down for a stride into bend losing momentum and hampering CULVIE PUB. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. BANDIT BILLY (6) - pushed inwards then ran outwards tightening JACKIE. JACKIE (7) - ran inwards then pushed outwards and tightened by BANDIT BILLY dropping to rear. Ran wide final turn. HOMEBUSH KIAN (8) - contacted by inside runners back straight.
Race 5	Addington Events Centre Sprint - C1 - 295	PASCALE JEWEL (1) - ran outwards into bend then badly checked as HOMEBUSH ARCHIE ran inwards dropping to rear. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. HOMEBUSH ROXY (2) - contacted UPSURGE early stages. Lost ground into bend dropping to rear. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. As this bitch had been issued with a warning at her previous start she was stood down to complete a Satisfactory Trial prior to resuming. UPSURGE (3) - slow to jump. KILDY'S WHISKEY (4) - slow to jump. HOMEBUSH ARCHIE (5) - ran inwards into bend checking PASCALE JEWEL and losing ground. ATOM DOLL (6) - contacted by ZOLA BLACK back straight. Badly checked on bend losing ground. ZOLA BLACK (7) - ran inwards back straight contacting ATOM DOLL.
Race 6	Garrard's Horse And Hound Dash - C1 - 295	KING KONG BLONDE (2) - contacted AMURI EARLY early stages. Tightened into bend losing ground. Tightened by HOMEBUSH CARTER on bend and ran outwards losing ground. AMURI EARLY (3) - contacted KING KONG BLONDE early stages. Badly tightened into bend losing ground. Hampered on bend losing ground. HOMEBUSH YAZMIN (4) - tightened by OPAWA STORM into bend losing ground then got on heels of HOMEBUSH CARTER. Hampered and pushed wide on bend losing ground. OPAWA STORM (5) - ran inwards into bend tightening inside runners. HOMEBUSH CARTER (6) - had heels clipped by HOMEBUSH YAZMIN into bend. Ran inwards on bend tightening KING KONG BLONDE. GOLDSTAR RIO (7) - slow to jump. Raced wide home straight.
Race 7	Crate & Barrel Hotel Sprint - C1 - 295	GRACIE LEE (2) - ran outwards back straight checking GOLDSTAR SHAGGY then pushed down the track by that runner losing ground. Tightened on bend and ran outwards losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. MITCHAM GOLDIE (3) - lost ground on bend finishing last. A warning was placed on the performance record of this bitch. GOLDSTAR SHAGGY (4) - ran outwards back straight contacting KNOW PRICE then checked by GRACIE LEE and pushed that runner down the track. KNOW PRICE (5) - contacted by GOLDSTAR SHAGGY back straight. Checked and pushed wide by GRACIE LEE on bend losing chance. HOMEBUSH HERO (6) - ran wide home straight. MULBERRY SOX (7) - last to jump.

GOLDSTAR DARWIN (2) - checked by outside runners early stages losing ground. OPAWA NUT (3) - tightened by OPAWA GIRLS GET early stages losing ground.
