Race 1	Follow Waikato Greyhounds on Facebook Sprint - C3 - 375	ALLEGRO BANDIT (1) - fav- began awkwardly for a stride or so almost going onto his nose. Recovered quickly into stride. BIG TIME YONKERS (2) - tightened and checked into the bend going back towards the rear. Contatced and unbalanced turning into the home straight going down on her haunches . Referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the right triceps. A 14 day stand down was recommended. RAILING RACCOON (3) - crowded and held up entering the bend .Checked across heels nearing the home turn. Contact and hampered on the home turn. MR MARCEL (5) - dwelt at the jump. tightened and checked into the bend losing momentum. Tangled with BIG TIME YONKERS for a few strides on the home turn losing ground. Referred to the vet and was found to have pain on palpation of left triceps. A 10 day stand down was recommended. CALL ME LEO (6) - contact racing from the start . Checked wide entering the bend racing wide thereafter.
Race 2	Farmlands No 1 Rural Supplier Stakes - C5 - 457	BIG TIME MAPLE (4) - dictated wide nearing the home turn. SPEED MACHINE (6) - angled outwards dictating BIG TIME MAPLE wide nearing the home turn.
Race 3	Mighty Waikato Maiden Series Final - C0f - 457	SOLDIER BLUE (3) - dwelt then checked racing off the mat. Made good ground in the latter stages to the line. BIG TIME HAYLEY (4) - racing towards the bend she was jostled and buffeted for some strides. Contact from behind and clipped becoming unbalanced for a stride or so soon after entering the home straight. THRILLING TEMPER (5) - hampered when tightened and losing his position racing into the bend. Soon after bumped with LAR GRAND OAKS losing ground. THRILLING FERN (6) - contact soon after the start and was tightened and jostled for some strides. LAR GRAND OAKS (7) - checked racing off the mats then angled across to the rail and crowded into the bend being checked back towards the rear. Soon after bumped with THRILLING TEMPER and was unable to make ground thereafter. BOY KEIDIS (8) - fav- contact racing from the start then jostled with runners for some distance into the bend. He was unable to angle inwards racing wide into the home straight catching the hind of BIG TIME HALEY and clipping a heel soon after.
Race 4	CopRice Working Dog Beef Sprint - C5 - 375	THRILLING NORMAN (1) - trailed handy ran wide into the home straight . Ran inwards across the line of WILD KIWI in the concluding stages. WILD KIWI (2) - Led out into the home straight and was hampered and forced to check as THRILLING NORMAN angled in across his line in the concluding stages. BIG TIME KATY (3) - forced to abruptly check into the bend as runners were pushed in across her line. She lost momentum and ground back towards the rear. BERET GIRL (4) - racing handy when tightened and checked entering the bend. OTAKI RIVER (5) - checked into the bend as HIGHVIEW TIGEGR angled inwards becoming awkwardly placed and lost momentum and ground. BIG TIME LANTAO (6) - hampered entering the bend as SOVEREIGN ALICE angled across. Soon after she was crowded and forced back from between runners. SOVEREIGN ALICE (7) - angled into the bend bumping into BIG TIME LANTAO causing herself to check. She recovered quickly. HIGHVIEW TIGGER (8) - angled into the bend across the line of OTAKI RIVER.
Race 5	Farmlands Te Awamutu Stakes - C3 - 457	JAM PACKED (2) - contact and unbalanced briefly entering the bend recovered quickly into stride. LUCCA (4) - dictated inwards bumping with JAM PACKED entering the bend and then crowded and held up for a couple of strides. CHROME (5) - contact and jostled for some strides racing from the start. Dictated inwards entering the bend tightening LUCCA in onto JAM PACKED and came back off heels losing momentum. ANTONIO (6) - dwelt at the jump was then tightened between runners and checked as he came back off heels going back to the rear. BIG TIME NAVY (7) - hampered for some strides racing from the start when jostling with ANTONIO losing momentum racing wide into the bend. NOT EVEN OWL (8) - hampered briefly racing from the start. Soon after bumped with CHROME and was momentarily unbalanced racing onto the top bend.
Race 6	CopRice Working Dog Chicken Sprint - C4 - 375	THRILLING RAPPER (1) - racing handy in the run to the bend when jostled and tightened for several strides. He was going strongly enough to keep his ground. SERBIAN ACE (2) - hampered for some strides in the early stages being crowded and forced back off heels . OUR HOTROD (3) - hampered in the early stages when tightened inwards across the line of SERBIAN ACE. MARCUS (4) - angled inwards from the start pushing OUR HOTROD in across the line of SERBIAN ACE then across the line of THRILLING RAPPER.
Race 7	Farmlands Together Stronger Stakes - C1 - 457	MONEY TRAIL (2) - went up in the boxes as the lids lifted and was slow into stride. ISN'T SHE BLISS (3) - began awkwardly jumping in the air on leaving the boxes. GET ME HOME (4) - leading in the early stages when bumped and jostled and checked back as they entered the bend . TIDES RISING (5) - began awkwardly running outwards sharply as he left the boxes across the line of ALLEGRO MOOCHI then running into THRILLING STELLA. Soon after he was dictated across onto heels and forced to check losing momentum and ground. back to the rear. ALLEGRO MOOCHI (6) - dwelt then checked racing off the mats as TIDES RISING ran outwards from the jump. THRILLING STELLA (7) - contact soon after the start as TIDES RISING ran outwards.
Race 8	Virkon*S Disinfectant Distance - C2d - 650	ADOBE NINJA (1) - jumped well soon drifted back to a clear last in the running and was unable to make ground thereafter to the line. Referred to the vet and was found to be clear of injury. After reviewing the running of ADOBE NINJA Trainer S Codlin agreed with the Stewards that the performance warranted a ( failing to pursue ) charge. The greyhound has been stood down ( failing to pursue ) 28 days and to the completion of a satisfactory trial. LET EM TALK (2) - away well soon after he was tightened into the bend and lost ground. Raced wide along the back straight and wide into the home straight making ground to the line. SHAYANNA (5) - racing from the start she came across bumping with PICCOLO. THEA WHO (7) - tightened and crowded entering the first turn going back off heels losing ground. PICCOLO (10/4) - soon after the start she was bumped and unbalanced going back then checked when catching heels entering the first turn.
Race 9	Denis Cole Waikato Sprint Feature - C5f - 375	BIG TIME FUZZ (2) - severely tightened and checked being pushed sideways onto heels entering the bend losing her position and ground. BIG TIME BRIE (3) - severely tightened and checked being pushed sideways as they entered the bend losing her position and ground. Ran wide into and down the home straight to the line. ZIPPING HEWITT (4) - came together with MAD MICK soon after the start and was then tightened and jostled between runners and severely crowded as they entered the bend. He raced wide into the home straight making good ground to the line. MAD MICK (5) - came together with ZIPPING HWEITT soon after the start and was then contatced in the hind quarters and unbalanced for a stride or so entering the bend ALLEGRO RORY (7) - soon after the start he angled in across hind quarters running on to MAD MICK as he checked across. Severely hampered when running into hind quarters entering the bend as runners came back on him.
Race 10	Thrilling Brat Distance Feature - C2df - 747	BORING was a late scratching at pre kenneling. BRICKMAN (2) - began awkwardly hampering SHANMARIA as they came off the mats. SHANMARIA (3) - bumped coming off the mats as BRICKMAN contacted her shoulder. Racing into the first turn she came together with SHAYNEE as she out into her line as the field angled racing wide around the first turn. SHAYNEE (5) - in the run towards and into the first turn she came together bumping and jostling with SHANMARIA coming back off her heels running into ELECTRIC SHOCK losing momentum and ground. ELECTRIC SHOCK (7) - contact and bumped racing wide around the first turn. BAD BRO BAD (8) - came back and inwards over heels into the first turn losing momentum and ground was unable to make ground thereafter.
Race 11	Farmlands Virkon Waikato Cup Final - C5f - 457	POWER BOOM (1) - was unbalanced for a couple of strides leaving the boxes. BIG TIME KAYLEE (2) - bumped with CHASE ME DOWN coming off the mats. CHASE ME DOWN (3) - racing from the start he was bumped and pushed outwards onto WHEELHOUSE and unbalanced for a stride or so. Bumped and jostled with UNO ME NOW entering the bend then ran wide for some strides. WHEELHOUSE (4) - contact soon after the start and pushed out onto BIG TIME STUNNER for a stride or so. BIG TIME STUNNER (5) - contact soon after the start and tightened back from between runners jostling with UNO ME NOW for a couple of strides. UNO ME NOW (6) - soon after the start she was contacted and jostled, jostled with CHASE ME DOWN entering the bend and lost ground as she angled in over heels racing across the top bend.
Race 12	Farmlands CopRice Waikato Classic Final - R/Af - 457	THRILLING SPRITE (1) - led out into the home straight. and held a narrow lead into the latter stages where she was tightened as runners came across. BIG TIME PANDA (2) - began awkwardly for a stride or so and was bumped as THRILLING FREDDY jumped inwards. Checked at the line as runners came inwards. THRILLING FREDDY (3) - jumped inwards into the shoulder of BIG TIME PANDA and lost his initial momentum as THRILLING WATSON angled into his shoulder. THRILLING WATSON (4) - ran inwards coming off the mats onto the shoulder of THRILLING FREDDY. Contact and jostled entering the bend. made ground in the latter stages. OPAWA ALBERT (5) - in the run to the bend he ran into THRILLING WATSON for a stride or so. Crowded and forced to check off heels entering the bend. ALLEGRO MARS (6) - awkwardly away and was slow into stride. Severely tightened and pushed sideways for a stride or so losing momentum and ground entering the bend. ALLEGRO GINNY (7) - angled across in the run to the bend checking BIG TIME PANDA . She came across heels to challenge into the home straight and lay inwards in the latter stages causing severe tightening to several runners to her inner. THRILLING RISK (8) - began awkwardly and was slow into stride. Contact with ALLEGRO MARS entering the bend and was forced to race wide at the back of midfield . Improved between runners into the home straight and was hampered in the latter stages as ALLEGRO GINNY lay in pushing him across the line of BIG TIME PANDA and in onto THRILLING SPRITE.
