1) Trainer K Benson advised Stewards that MACHINE GUNN (race 11) had suffered a stopper bone injury and would be retired.
2) Trainer K Lincoln-Papuni advised Stewards that BUDDY (race 6) had x-rays taken which revealed no fractures, however there was a sprained tendon on the left front 5th toe.
3) The adjourned enquiry has been concluded with trainer K Benson being issued with a Minor Infringement Notice when allowing an unauthorised person to handle MACHINE GUNN in race 11 and fined $300.

1) G Hodgson - late to kennel during first kenneling.

1) No weights were recorded as there were discrepancies with the scales found during kenneling. Stewards spoke with the Palmerston North Greyhound Racing Club who will endeavour to have the issue rectified before the next race meeting.

RIDGELINE ROCKER (3) - shunted sideways into LAR GRAND OAKS by BIG TIME SEATTLE and severely checked in the early stages. Shifted up the track along the back straight, jostling with BIG TIME HAYLEY and then BIG TIME CRUSADE for a number of strides and losing momentum. Coursed wide when exiting the bend and along the home straight. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. BIG TIME FONZY (4) - crowded in the early stages and obligated to check off the heels of BIG TIME HAYLEY, losing momentum. BIG TIME CRUSADE (5) - shouldered LAR GRAND SOPHIA for a few strides in the early stages. Dictated wide along the back straight. Jostled with BIG TIME HAYLEY and then RIDGELINE ROCKER for a number of strides in the run into the bend. LAR GRAND SOPHIA (6) - shouldered BIG TIME CRUSADE for a few strides in the early stages. Coursed wide when exiting the bend, becoming unbalanced for a few strides. BIG TIME HAYLEY (7) - dictated down the track in the early stages and was shunted sideways by BIG TIME SEATTLE. Jostled with RIDGELINE ROCKER for a number of strides along the back straight. Was buffeted between runners in the run into the bend, and was forced to check off the heels of BIG TIME CRUSADE, becoming unbalanced and losing momentum for a number of strides. Was dictated wide around the bend and continued wide for the remainder of the race. Was referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. BIG TIME SEATTLE (8) - shifted down the track in the early stages, shunting BIG TIME HAYLEY and RIDGELINE ROCKER.

Bumped HIGHVIEW NESS not long after leaving the boxes. Jostled with STAY CONNECTED for several strides around the first bend. Angled outwards and coursed wide along the back straight. Was tightened for space and obligated to check off the heels of ROCK ON ANNIE while rounding the second bend. HIGHVIEW NESS (3) - awkwardly away, becoming unbalanced for a number of strides. Bumped MR FARENHEIT not long after leaving the boxes and the proceeded to shift up the track. Coursed wide thereafter. CRISPY CHICKEN (4) - galloped on from behind while rounding the first bend. Became unbalanced for a few strides while rounding the second bend. Dictated wide down the home straight. STAY CONNECTED (6) - awkwardly away. Brushed JUST LIKE LUCY when entering the bend. Jostled with MR FARENHEIT for several strides around the first bend, becoming unbalanced and losing momentum. Coursed wide along the back straight. Became unbalanced for a few strides around the second bend. ROCK ON ANNIE (7) - slow away and was slow into stride. JUST LIKE LUCY (8) - brushed STAY CONNECTED when entering the bend. Dictated out around the first bend. Coursed wide for the remainder of the race.

Appeared awkward in its action and was referred to the veterinarian as a precaution and cleared of injury. SWEENEY TODD (3) - contacted by LOSING DAYS in the early stages, losing balance and momentum for a few strides. Coursed wide when exiting the bend and along the home straight. LOSING DAYS (4) - shifted down the track in the early stages, contacting SWEENEY TODD. Jostled with BIG TIME KILTY for several strides when entering the bend and contacted BOBBY DAZZLER. Checked for a stride, free from interference, while rounding the bend. BOBBY DAZZLER (5) - bumped by LOSING DAYS when entering the bend. Became tightened for space and obligated to check off the heels of HIGHVIEW SAMMY while rounding the bend. Galloped on from behind while exiting the bend, losing balance for a stride. MAD WORLD (6) - became unbalanced when exiting the bend, losing momentum for a few strides. BIG TIME KILTY (7) - jostled with BIG TIME KILTY for a number of strides when entering the bend. Became unbalanced for a few strides around the bend. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. BIG TIME RAINBOW (3) - became unbalanced for a number of strides when exiting the bend. BIG TIME MYSTIC (5) - began awkwardly. Coursed wide along the home straight. HAVE A YAK (6) - brushed FEEL THE CHARM in the early stages. Checked off the heels of BIG TIME FLUTTER when exiting the bend. BIG TIME BALLET (7) - shifted up the track in the early stages. Angled inwards when entering the bend and was forced to check off the heels of FEEL THE CHARM. Shifted off the heels of FEEL THE CHARM when exiting the bend. Coursed wide along the home straight. FEEL THE CHARM (9/8) - brushed HAVE A YAK in the early stages. Was galloped on from behind when entering the bend. Was unbalanced for a couple of strides when exiting the bend. ALL CHECKED OUT (10/2) - was up in the boxes when the lids went up and was slow to get into stride.
Race 5	Outback Trading Company C0 - C0 - 410	There was a delay in the start of this race due to the short turn around between races 4 and 5. BIG TIME DAWN (1) - began awkwardly. Jostled with BIG TIME MEG for a number of strides in the run into the bend. Jostled with ALLEGRO SCAMP for several strides while rounding the bend, losing momentum. ALLEGRO DINKY (2) - shifted up the track in the run into the bend, contacting ALLEGRO BOW. BIG TIME MEG (3) - placed in restricted room along the back straight and jostled with ALLEGRO BOW for a number of strides as a result. Angled inwards, contacting BIG TIME DAWN and jostling for a number of strides in the run into the bend. Buffeted between BIG TIME DAWN and ALLEGRO SCAMP when entering the bend, becoming unbalanced and losing momentum for a number of strides. TRUE TESTAMENT (2) - jostled with DEFER FIRE in the run into the bend. DEFER FIRE (3) - was galloped on from behind along the back straight. Placed in restricted room and buffeted between runners when entering the bend. Checked across the heels of MOTHER'S TOUCH when rounding the bend and bumped MILO TONIGHT. MOTHER'S TOUCH (4) - shifted up the track in the early stages. Jostled with ALLEGRO ENVY for a number of strides while entering the bend and as a result was dictated inwards, onto another runner. Jostled with DEFER FIRE for a number of strides when entering the bend. Was galloped on from behind while rounding the bend. Jostled with BIG TIME POPPET for a number of strides while rounding the bend. Coursed wide when exiting the bend and continued wide along the home straight. MILO TONIGHT (5) - shifted up the track in the early stages, jostling with BIG TIME POPPET for a number of strides. Was bumped by DEFER FIRE when entering the bend obligated to check off his heels. BIG TIME POPPET (6) - attempted to shift down the track in the early stages, jostling with MILO TONIGHT as a result. Was contacted by ALLEGRO ENVY in the early stages and buffeted between the two runners for a number of strides. Was shunted sideways by MOTHER'S TOUCH when entering the bend, taking several strides to regain her balance. Jostled with MOTHER'S TOUCH for several strides while rounding the bend, being dictated wide. Angled inwards when free from runners along the home straight.
