1 ( THRILLING SPRITE ( Mullane /Potts ) race 12.

General.

2 ) Race 5 was hand started due to an issue with the automatic system.
The Club quickly found the problem and repaired with the boxes being checked and cleared for automatic starts from race 6 onwards.

3- Box trials required

( GIRL VIENNA ) S Ross race 4.

Warnings.

4 ) D Elder was issued with a warning after failing to be at the catching area for race 11.

Vet Checks

5 ) GIRL VIENNA ( S Ross ) race 5 was referred to the vet. This was not carried out and the Stewards will be contacting Trainer S Ross in the coming days .

Race 1	Follow Waikato Greyhounds on Facebook Sprint - C1 - 375	BIG TIME GINA (2) - bumped with BUNDY racing off the mats. She was checked soon after as BUNDY angled in across her heels .Hampered in the run up the home straight when attempting to improve between runners. RAMBLIN' KANE (6) - checked racing from the start losing his initial momentum. He settled in the rear to the line. Clipped from behind in the run across the top bend. DRIFTER DODGE (7) - angled across sharply racing from the start running into HURRICANE BOB, and BUNDY and was unbalanced for a few strides. Settled in the midfield caught heels and checked in the run across the top bend. BUNDY (9/3) - began awkwardly running into the shoulder of BIG TIME GINA and was then bumped and unbalanced as DRIFTER DODGE angled across.
Race 2	CopRice Working Dog Chicken Sprint - C0 - 375	LOCHNESS BRAE (2) - contact and bumped inwards running into the shoulder of FILLS FOLLY becoming unbalanced racing off the mats. SASSY LASSIE (3) - checked racing off the mats as CHINESE BRYNS angled in across her line. causing her to lose her initial momentum CHINESE BYRNS (4) - ran inwards from the jump checking runners to his inner and causing himself to be awkwardly placed for a few strides. DONNING (6) - fav- went up in the boxes as the lids lifted and was last into stride by 4 lengths. he was unable to get into contention thereafter. DYNAMIC EMPIRE (7) - racing handy into the bend when forced to check and lose ground as THRILLING TEMPER angled in across her line. THRILLING TEMPER (8) - angled in across the line of DYNAMIC EMPIRE as the field entered the bend. NOT AN ANCHOR (9/5) - dwelt and began awkwardly out of the boxes. FILL'S FOLLY (10/1) - bumped and checked as LOCKNESS BRAE ran under his neck soon after the start. he was awkwardly placed for a few strides losing momentum.
Race 3	CopRice Working Dog Beef Sprint - C1 - 375	RAMBLIN' EDGE (3) - in the run towards the bend he was checked as FRANK CASTLE angled across onto his hind quarters. ALLEGRO SKYE (4) - racing in tight quarters in the run across the top bend when jostled between runners going out across the line of BIG TIME BERT and ran wide . GINNY GIN (5) - fav- hampered racing from the start as BIG TIME BERT angled across contacting her hind quarters. BIG TIME BERT (6) - angled across from the start bumping into GINNY GIN. Jostled with ALLEGRO SKYE and was checked losing ground back to the rear as they neared the home turn. THRILLING TUCKER (7) - began awkwardly on leaving the boxes racing out across the line of FRANK CASTLE. FRANK CASTLE (8) - checked racing off the mats losing his initial momentum, then ran inwards running into the hind of RAMBLIN' EDGEand checking.
Race 4	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Stakes - C1/2 - 457	BOY KEIDIS (1) - fav- slow into stride. Soon after checked as THRILLING GRAY angled in across his line then bumped as RAMBLIN' ANDRE angled across. Lost ground into the bend and bumped and jostled with DUBLIN EXPRESS in the run across the top bend. DUBLIN EXPRESS (3) - dwelt and came together with RAMBLIN' ANDRE coming off the mats. Came together with BOY KEIDIS and jostled across the top bend. RAMBLIN' ANDRE (4) - dwelt and was slow into stride coming together with DUBLIN EXPRESS. Racing to wards the bend he angled inwards bumping into BOY KEIDIS for a stride or so. GIRL VIENNA (5) - turned in the boxes and fell onto the mat as she attempted to turn around and lost all chance thereafter. Referred to the vet and must undergo a ( box trial ) before being eligible to nominate.
Race 5	The Clubhouse Cambridge Sprint - C3 - 375	Race 5 was hand started due to a breakdown with the automatic opening system. WHO IS COOPER (3) - hampered soon after the start as MAD A WISH angled across onto him. he became awkwardly placed and unbalanced for a few strides. recovered good ground thereafter to the line. MADE A WISH (5) - angled across soon after the start running into WHO IS COOPER losing momentum and some ground. RAILING RACCOON (7) - checked racing off the mats and lost momentum. Angled outwards jostled and dictated to race widest into the bend losing ground, angled extremely wide as they straightened for the run to the line. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
Race 6	Farmlands CopRice Sprint - C2/3 - 375	BIG TIME JEWEL (1) - led into the home straight and lay in on TYPICAL for several strides hampering this runner. SPRING BOOT (2) - hampered racing off the mats as GO AHEAD CALLER was dictated across. GO AHEAD CALLER (3) - hampered and DICTATED in onto SPRING BOOT as they came off the mats. BUGSY BROWN (4) - angled inwards from the jump dictating inner runner across. TYPICAL (5) - contact soon after the start. Crowded entering the bend, when clear improved along the inner to challenge the leader into the home straight where he was hampered for some strides as BIG TIME JEWELL LAY IN. CARLOS (6) - unable to clear heels into the bend losing ground back to the rear.
Race 7	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Sprint - C1 - 375	RAMBLIN' HARDY (3) - raced wide around the bend into the home straight. TIDES RISING (7) - checked at the start as DUBSTEP angled across. DUBSTEP (8) - ran into TIDES RISING racing from the start. Was forced to race wide thereafter.
Race 8	Affordable Pet Accessories Distance - C1/2d - 650	BAD BRO BAD (2) - jumped away well, Tightened onto heels into the first turn and further tightened coming back off heels losing momentum and ground back to the rear and was unable to make ground thereafter .Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. LITTLE TEEGS (3) - tightened and crowded into the bend losing her position at this point. THEA WHO (4) - hampered and checked into the first turn losing her position at this point. SHAYANNA (6) - angled across into the first turn tightening several runners for several strides.
Race 9	Vetora Cambridge Sprint - C4/5 - 375	THRILLING NORMAN (3) - fairly away. Pushed inwards onto heels and was unbalanced losing momentum and ground entering the bend. came together with PEDRO LEE and jostled for several strides turning into the home straight. He made good ground to the line. Referred to the vet and was cleared of injury. AMARO (4) - angled into the bend tightening THRILLING NORMAN. PEDRO LEE (6) - fav- dwelt and was slow into stride. Angled into the bend crowding and tightening runners to his inner. came together jostling with THRILLING NORMAN into the home straight. OTAKI RIVER (7) - dwelt and was slow into stride. Raced wide thereafter covering a lot of extra ground in the running.
Race 10	Mike Stent Decorators Ltd Stakes - C3/4 - 457	ANTONIO (2) - soon after the start he angled out across the line of SAKICHI hampering this runner. Caught heels and checked entering the bend losing momentum and ground. SAKICHI (3) - hampered soon after the start as THRILLING RAPPER angled out across his line.
Race 11	Garrards Horse & Hound Sprint - C4 - 375	THRILLING HUDSON (3) - came back off heels in the run onto the top bend losing ground. Ran out wide in the run to the line. GOLDEN FERN (5) - hampered in the early running when jostling with MARCUS for a few strides. MARCUS (6) - jostled with GOLDEN FERN for a couple of strides in the early running. Crowded out of his position entering the bend.
Race 12	Farmlands Virkon R/A Stakes - R/A - 457	THRILLING SPRITE late scratching at kenneling on vets advice. THRILLING VERA (1) - racing handy when clipped from behind across the top bend and lost ground. Tightened and checked turning into the home straight losing ground. THRILLING WATSON (2) - crowded onto heels and checked losing momentum and ground entering the bend. Came back off heels across the top bend losing momentum and more ground. Unable to clear heels when looking to improve on the home turn as was hampered as THRILLING RISK angled inwards. THRILLING RISK (8) - fav- angled into the shoulder of THRILLING WATSON and was unbalanced losing momentum entering the bend. Forced to check over heels and lost some momentum in the run across the top bend.
