Christchurch GRC - 13 January 2022

1). K Taylor, representing trainer A Hart's kennel reported that SEVE had undergone x-rays this morning which revealed the greyhound to have sustained a fractured sesamoid. These were produced to the On Course Veterinarian that presided last night's race meeting with the 21 day stand down imposed being increased to 42 days with the greyhound required to preform a trial prior to resuming.

HOMEBUSH MAGGIE (4) - shifted out across heels home turn to avoid injured runner. DIAMOND EMPRESS (6) - lay in home bend contacting inside runners. Bumped with inside dog entering home straight. OHOKA LACEY (7) - placed in restricted room home turn pushed on to running rail losing ground. Referred to vet found to have Ligament damage to LH stifle. A 90 day mandatory stand down imposed. TAIERI SNAPSHOT (8) - ran wide home straight.

HOMEBUSH STASSER (4) - placed in restricted room into turn between runners checked unbalanced forced out. EZRA BLUEBLOOD (6) - contacted on by outside runners on a number of occasions back straight. KING KALI (7) - ran in on jumping contacting inside runner on a number of occasions back straight. Checked between runners into turn. PUNCH ON BUZZ (8) - contacted home turn by outside dog.
Race 4	Steve Anngow Drapes & Blinds Ph.0272719588 Dash - C2 - 295	SMASH DRAGON (2) - ran wide home straight. HOMEBUSH PEACH (4) - pushed out home turn losing ground. NONILLION (6) - contacted from inside runner entering home straight. CRYSTAL CANDY (7) - held up home turn. Ran out entering home straight bumping outside runner. MITCHAM RYDER (9/1) - lost ground with the field shortly after the start. referred tot he Veterinarian where it was reported to be lame in its right quadricep muscle. Notwithstanding this Stewards have stood down the greyhounding pending a satisfactory trial.
Race 5	Clarkson Sign Studio Dash - C3 - 295	SMASH ACHIEVER (3) - hampered early stages forced back changed ground inwards. KNOW SMOKEY (4) - contacted by outside runner home turn. CULVIE DOLE (7) - lay in home turn contacting inside runner becoming unbalanced. SPICE SPICE BABY (8) - ran wide home straight. IMPRESSIVE ISLA (9/2) - lay out back straight contacting outside dog.
Race 6	American Warrior @ Stud Dash - C3 - 295	BECK ELEVEN (2) - forced out home turn unbalanced losing ground. OPA'S JOY (3) - forced inwards back straight. SOZIN'S QUEEN (4) - pushed inwards back straight contacting inside dog. Forced out home turn onto outside runner. BANDIT BILLY (5) - clipped heels early stages shifted out. ANGRY PETE (6) - ran in back straight contacting inside runners. KIKAU (7) - held up between runners home turn.
Race 7	Real Pet Food Rolleston Stakes Heat 1 - C2q - 520 Heat 1	BLACK STOCKINGS (5) - bumped by inside dog kennels bend. SUGAR TIME (6) - forced inwards across heels early stages. SMASH DEVIL (7) - place in tight quarters shortly after jumping. Bumped by inside runner kennels bend. Raced wide back straight. RUN RUN ROVER (8) - ran in on jumping contacting inside dogs.
Race 8	Addington Events Centre Sprint - C3 - 295	GOLDSTAR CLOVER (3) - changed ground inwards after jumping. PUNTERS BOLT (5) - placed in restricted room between dogs home turn losing ground. REDDY MOTH (6) - bumped on jumping. SOUFFLE SUE (7) - hampered between dogs on jumping. CURLY BILL (8) - jumped in contacting inside dog. Contacted by inside dog home turn forced out unbalanced from behind. Referred to Veterinarian and sent for X-Rays which revealed a fracture to its left metatarsal bone with a 90 day stand down imposed. Must trial prior to resuming.

NIGHTHAWK FANCY (4) - forced out wide kennels bend by inside dog. HOMEBUSH CARTER (7) - shifted in across heels on jumping lost ground referred to vet found to have..
Race 10	Suck It Up Ltd Dash - C3 - 295	ANGRY JANE (2) - checked between runners home turn losing ground. Ran out home turn contacting outside runner. HOMEBUSH FANTA (4) - slow away. BILLY RAY (5) - contacted back straight on a number of occasions becoming unbalanced.
